  1. Technically, if you ignore your electrum shadows (made easier if your eyes are closed) your future won't change, will it? So if you ignore your electrum shadows, like it seems Vin and Elend did, would your future really change? Of course, if you not paying attention made it not change, then you'd pay attention, so it would change. But thats a paradox... so..
  2. In the SA? Sell. Unless you mean Hoid... but he's gathering storm powers. (The Gathering Storm, if you didn't get that reference.) WOR
  3. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 442165552 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 Just turn up the friction... Stick instead of Slick. (And that's a double-pun. OH YEAH!)
  4. Buy. (Oops, I was on the wrong page! But the last post was from you, as was the last in the thread, which threw me off.) Dalinar's boon was that he forgot his wife, or that Navani cares for him.
  5. Buy. Brandon himself is a Kandra. That's why he's occasionally called BranSan.
  6. That rap... it hurt me so much I impaled my ears with metal, started filling my tinmind with hearing, and made my trip to Ashyn worthwhile... Haha, just kidding. Nice job. Aaaaand I can pun practically anything else now. But not Cosmere! Wait. Why not. Cosmere all out of ideas! (See dat? 'Cos me 're) Yeah, my puns used to be sp tanavast greatness
  7. So the other day, I was taking a test. I was told I got an Aon it. I watched the Lego Movie in the theaters. Everything was NOT Awesome, despite what they say. The movie was just about Ruined, I tell you! (Actually, it was a great movie!) So I was watching a Doctor Who episode the other day. Suddenly, I figured out Hoid's secrets. No wonder they don't tell us his name! So, has anyone here seen Star Wars? It seems like their predicament wasn't nearly as bad as Greater Roshar's is/will be/could be. Ah bummer. My great flow of Witty puns has Lurched to a Halt. (Wait that was a Flanagan book. Oops.)
  8. I doubt they could burn anything. 1) As stated above, what with their digestive systems and all that. 2) For the same or similar reasons as a kandra couldn't burn metals.
  9. Like atoms. Two atoms that can't directly form a bond, but with an, er, a sort of third party, they can become a molecule. So these "atoms" are shards, and the "molecule" is a magic system? Because otherwise I am totally lost...
  10. That I don't know. When I read TWoK, I brushed her off as unimportant. "Kalad" - near-palindromic (since apparently perfectly palindromic breaks some religious rules or something) - with "in" at the end to add to the non-palindromicy.Its not... She was "becoming ladylike", so she probably wasn't supposed to grieve in public... She was probably hiding it? Maybe Roshone has done something to her? Or Kaladin leaving (she had a bigger crush than she was willing to admit?)? I'm guessing something, though. Maybe something we didn't see? Unrelated: Kalad backwards is Dalak. Sounds a lot like Dalek doesn't it?
  11. Yup. Laral will be a Knight. Reasons: her name is palindromic* her dad died and she became engaged to a tyrant Kaladin's probably going to fall for her* And... yeah, thats it. But I'm almost certain. * Not quite relevant. More, uh, jokinglyish-things.
  12. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 443033904 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 He seemed more like a Sky... whatever, cant remember the name... Radiant.
  13. We could just hook him up to a lie detector and interrogate him...
  14. Aside from what was said by others, one question was much more... blatant... than the other. So basically, ask him more indirect questions. So not "Is Sazed Harmony?" but instead, "Is Harmony the combined form of Ruin and Preservation?"
  15. Then drying burns duralumin and said enourmous gold metalmind. "Oops," says dyring.
  16. On my iPad, while viewing the full site, I don't see the chat any more. I used to, but a few days ago, it just vanished. (Talking about the chat on the forum home page.) So, any reason for this, or is it a glitch-bug-thing?
  17. Hoid is a Feruchemist? How'd he get his hands on Sazedium? (Or is it Sazium?) I always assumed his timeliness was due to not being related to Kelsier. Or Yolish magic. You can hide your post. Its the button between edit and multiquote.
  18. Speed not slowness? Eh, not the same... but... nah, nevermind. Have an upvote, though! ( Well, have six so far, but just one from me. )
  19. Why did you say "I want to explain myself here" and quote smeone else? Or... is that you...? If I were to go to a signing, I'd pull a Wayne to ask all my questions. or would i...?However, i agree that we should post our questions so we don't double-up or ask answered questions. And I've been here for a while--and yeah, I was inactive for a while--but regardless I have only 80- or 90-some rep at this point, though. And some people just dont have a mind for theories... and some people keep to themselves more than others. People already do that.
  20. Wouldn't we all. Last time it happened we all just posted a list of questions (1 post per person with as many questions as we had, open for one day or so). Then the thread was closed and he answered. More than one question per person if its your choice, please! I have like a whole page... One at a time, one per two years, would take a long time. Especially if I keep coming up with them at even half my current rate. Another one for the forums, do you mean? Hm. I dont think we need to "collect our thoughts" do we? We didn't do it before. And more people were pleased when they all got ask their own individual questions. I'd not like it as much if everyone just voted on 30 questions to ask (per all of us, not per person), especially since there are likely hundreds of questions people have--thousands, maybe even. It took a few days last time, I think. We didn't really mind... but one question per person sounds a bit slow. Few.I doubt they'd make multiple accounts. well, most people anyway. Some likely will. But probably not too many.
