  1. The rest aren't as bad. Well, maybe not The Legend of Horseman. I showed them to one of my friends, plus the rainbow conspiracy, plus super spice bros 64. She won't let me show her stuff anymore. Either way, they're pretty awesome... ...on pig day.
  2. Good idea. If the whole trip is spent in Nebraska, half of it is spent going the same direction, on the same road.
  3. The reason the magic systems are similar is probably because that, while the shard's intents differ, they all ultimately came from Adonalsium in the first place. They're bound to accomplish things similarly.
  4. Watch these videos in this order: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIq24GXJuhQ www.youtube.com/watch?v=RllPl7yzt7g www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmcWKLwMw4Q www.youtube.com/watch?v=omN1Vu_4nDI
  5. I didn't know Brandon was having a baby .
  6. You know what, I'll just call them 'Aimians' and be done with it. Feel free to call them dragonwasps if you want .
  7. I really don't want to escalate this argument, but I feel the need to change a little of Yamato's statement: LDS people do not believe in all of the "If you are not good/do a bad sin, whatever, you will have a horrible afterlife, etc", in fact, we believe that to get a place like that, you would have had to (IIRC, may not be 100% accurate, correct me if it's not) have known Christ to be the son of god or known god exists without a doubt and rejected him. Only a handful of people would actually fit that description. We believe that there are three levels of glory you can obtain: Celestial kingdom: Highest level of glory. Needed to be baptized/under 8 (those under 8 are not accountable for their sins yet), be really good in this life, repented, tried your best, etc. Terrestial kingdom: Second degree of glory. In general being a good person and whatnot. Many gay marriages, atheists, and others who have stances against what the LDS church believes may end up here (if they are good people). Telestial kingdom: Last degree of glory. Those who were bad/didn't care/whatever other reason go here. It is 10X better than Earth. We also believe that before the judgement there will be a time for those who did not have a chance to get the gospel in life may be taught it and receive it if they choose. This part I don't know exactly how it works (I mean, if there was only one church teaching wouldn't someone catch on to it? I just don't know.) Anyway, we are far from condemning those to a horrible afterlife if they don't believe, just as we don't say everyone who believes is in an amazing state. It depends on the kind of person you are and how you act. Anyway, I didn't mean for that to become a text wall. If this isn't your opinion, I am really sorry, I misunderstood. So, continue.
  8. For sure. ...Provided I don't have school or another obligation then; perhaps a Saturday? BTW, during my WoK re-read, I noticed that Shallan's memories are capitol M. They're special. Plus, putting it on the page erases it from her mind. I doubt it's normal.
  9. I think I had dragonwasps as my official stance, but I just can't remember .-. ... Meh. Whatever. They have an official name now IIRC. EDIT: Nevermind, all we know is they come from "Aimia" (Which, looking on it, happens to be a palindrome. WoK has sorta a near-palindrome/palindrome thing going, huh).
  10. My favorite part was the "minecraft world". It is pretty crazy, though. I didn't know that the estimated size of the universe was a square .
  11. Oh dear, the conflict is accelerating.
  12. Unfortunately, not only would it be an *awesome* title, it makes us long for what could have been.
  13. I couldn't have "sait" it better either . Anyway, I really do hope to see length as long as the first, even if some people are all "It's too long *rage*".
  14. Provided we get it and start it at the same time, yes. So, in all reality, no.
  15. Keep in mind that he DID have to finish AMoL.
  16. This makes me very sad.
  17. I just need to jump forward in time to when SA is complete and I have them all. Then I will read them, stopping only to eat, drink, sleep, or go to the bathroom.
  18. Good luck. Can you tell me where you're going?
  19. Nothing but this. The opportunity to be somewhat made fun of? This guy, Shallan, and a few other wisecracks...
  20. I was just thinking, but if you wanted to make sure that we don't seem serious all the time, maybe you could show some of these threads: Ah, lightflame...
  21. Fix'd. Anyway, encyclopedia altars are so Alcatraz. Want some real fun? Midwest prairie dogs in a beehive. Of glass. It's a doghive.
  22. This one is crazy long, just a warning. I was the guest. EDIT:
  23. Whilst re-reading Warbreaker, I found a quote by Hoid: specifically about "gods". He said that the gods are dead where he came from. While this may mean there is no Returned (which is true), he knows he is speaking to an Idrian, who believes more in the shard kind of god. I think this may mean A: The shards on his homeworld are splintered/nonexistant B: He believes in different gods (obviously not the shards, if he was there when Adonalsium shattered) that died C: Something else entirely. Anyway, a find that I want discussed. If this has obvious flaws, tell me. I can take it .
  24. The Sttorme-o's factory is there, which I can indeed confirm.
  25. And face it, Hoid owns Nebraska; why else would it have aska at the end, like Alaska? As steward of the Hoid-Cave, I bet that (if I were forced to say), it would be in Nebraska (not that I can *officially* disclose anything).
