  1. If you want to read up on the shards, Adonalsium etc. go to the coppermind, its a wiki for the universe where a lot of Brandon's books take place. At the moment, you're at a disadvantage to most of the people on the forums so its all great stuff to know.
  2. Austre is likely endowment, as Brandon has said there is only one shard on Nalthis.
  3. Maybe thats why Wayne's speed bubbles are really so small, its just because of his minuscule cognitive aspect
  4. Sorry, forgot about that chapter.
  5. That implies spren have some sort of connection to the highstorms.
  6. Ah, the elusive mistrat!
  7. My feet swept from under me
  8. there are more votes in the 'like' one, meaning not everyone chose a dislike
  9. Good catch, I forgot about that. Though I guess he could just wear a wig if need be.
  10. I don't know who would possibly choose a half-shard over plate, but kudos to them for being unique
  11. You're not just a great writer, you're a great guy too.

  12. I think even if you tried, while you were on a train you couldn't think of yourself as not actually on it. You'd need a whole different style of perception to think that way. For that reason, I don't think in this case the self-definition would make much difference. EDIT: Though you might be able to do so in other circumstances, so it still has consequences.
  13. AoL is a lot different to Mistborn, so you should give it a try
  14. If I ever get a monkey I'll be sure to name it Adonalsium.
  15. Dang if only I got the chance to ask Brandon about this. Plus, there are Mistborn Llamas and Catquisitors, so why not almighty goats?
  16. Now you have been officially endorsed by Brandon, no one can question this theory
  17. Not wise to proclaim your hatred for a character within his earshot But I would agree on KanPaar, he just struck me as one of the most arrogant, obtuse characters in the cosmere.
  18. I agree, centuries are always going to erase human memory, unless you happen to have a certain piece of copper I was really surprised when Kelsier died in the Final Empire. Until the end of the book I thought he would come back somehow (after all, he was called the survivor). It seems so ironic how the fall of an empire that had reigned for a thousand years had been brought down by the death of 'the survivor'.
  19. Jeez, I'm pretty sure most authors couldn't write his lined up books in a lifetime!
  20. I think we're on to something here if we can find any more evidence in the book this is probably worth a theory.
  21. In HoA TenSoon imitates Kelsier with just his two-year-old bones.
  22. Maybe Honor (before he died) ordered Jezrien to watch over the person who received his visions?
  23. Yeah, if i can extend on what millennium said, the kandra are muscles themselves, they just need the bones to be able to manipulate the flesh and their own muscles.
  24. Still, to make properly airtight spacesuits civilisation would have to be fairly advanced. I can totally buy fast cadmium space travel later on, but in Mistborn or the Alloy of Law its just too early on.
