I wasn't asking that to be able to submit one, I was just curious because I had a horrifying thought about a deific assumer running around, negation people's powers and throwing them back. Bad news for anyone not on their side. But perhaps I should not have mentioned it, this potential scares me a little bit in Mac(the person)'s hands. He'll drop something and someone will need it there in the future and they'll find it right when they need to find it. No teleportation, just luck. Sometimes he'll get a feeling he needs to drop a certain thing in a certain place, but most of the time the stuff just falls out of his hands or pockets.

Very radical changes, probably. A refraction on crossing each of the borders in a random direction would end up with some wild stuff, especially in something like a Gatling gun or some other rotary.

I don't know if this counts (I'm not very good at physics) but would the refraction of entering objects count?

Not a very Dustbringer thing, to me. (I'm still in the "Ash will become a Dustbringer camp.") Good person thing is debatable, because as you said, 4.5 millenia will change people, good or not. The rest of the Heralds, no doubt, started as good people that wanted to protect their people and you saw what happened to them. Taln is, as acknowledged within the books, a very nearly archetypal Stoneward: dependable and strong. There is no one better suited to outlasting that time and the torture that came with it than him.

We have a little bit from him when he was lucid, where he expresses that he's happy the people of Roshar were able to grow for once. If that was indicative of his total mental state, he hasn't changed. He was happy his sacrifice meant something, and that seems like a very Stoneward thing.

Extremely doubtful. Taln was the Stoneward, and even over his course on Braize that never stopped. If there was any Herald that wouldn't change their Order, it'd be him.
