Doxxing, death threats, people taking some art out of context or not understanding certain elements of color theory, crack ships that people insist you're a bad person if you don't support, stuff like that. It gets bad.

As far as I'm aware, yes, you can update a character.

They're certainly somewhat meant to be layered on top of each other, with the protagonists of each trilogy being folk-hero-ish sometimes, or even straight up Christ-like figures. This will also continue into Era 3 and presumably 4 as well, since in 3, Wax and Wayne will have a comic book series about their exploits.

For the reasons that I don't believe we could do the setting and character/casting justice through liveaction, I'd say animation.

As the commotion grew, Malu looked up from his incessant serving, cleaning, and sorting, only to be greeted by a disturbingly familiar sight: mist. Mist like that he hadn't seen since he fled Scadrial. It did not strike him as a good thing and he decided now would be a good time to make sure his emergency kit was in order.

Jason Write did indeed use his cytonics to see. "He sat with his eyes turned to the window, though the position was redundant. He had been legally blind since he’d turned sixteen. It had been years since he could even make out shadows or light. Fortunately, he had other methods of seeing."

Entirely intentional, it was a very good story and I loved it, all jokes aside. -

Hi everyone, Cosmere newbie here
Invocation replied to The Kraken's Daughter's topic in Introduce Yourself!
Hello! Welcome to the Shard! You're going to have fun with Stormlight Archive, honestly, just stay far, far away from the board on that until you're done with the most recent book (this also goes for any other cosmere books you may have read but not finished the series) unless you don't mind spoilers. Also, would you like a cookie? Completely safe, I promise! I'm one of the good ones. I only mess with Lunamor with baked goods that aren't wholesome, everything else is fine. -
I didn't even know that was an option...how do I change it?
-
Fair enough!
-
Okay yeah that's one thing, but how'd you quote it?
-
@Karger I don't care how much you post, but how did you respond to something RShara said before she said it?????????

"One garnet broam, or equal value in other currency, or a pretty hefty secret or tidbit, if that's your preferred method of payment."

Out of curiosity, while we're on the subject of power advancement, can Malu swear his Second Oath? Seems like he'd be very in line with being able to do that, with the whole "use his knowledge to help people" thing that's pretty much a staple of Truthwatchers, from what I understand. Also, it's not a very big oath. No Blade, no Plate, just another advancement. What do y'all think?
-
That's a good mechanic! I like it.
-
Like Pagliacci said, this is a solid foundation. I like it and would also like to hear more as you evolve this system into a more full form.
-
"Wonderful," Malu grinned, always happy to show off his stock. He turned and pulled a very particular bottle down, one that had been promising to be very good.

Okameahelemakeakaheuhanei'ike'oleikameanānaeho'opa'i, having arrived at the Alley he was told to meet at and having seen the crowd, decided to make a suitably dramatic entrance. Nothing like a little drama to have some fun. He Lashed himself upwards and slightly to the left to align with the wall without being directly touching, and, once enough height had been attained, zoomed downwards and activated Division immediately upon touching the ground, a large nan glyph forming with the bottom spike starting under his foot and spreading from there.
