Why did he have a seizure from the mists in HoA with the rest of the mistfallen, then?
-
Yes, but he was out in the mists in Well of Ascension, though he didn't snap until Hero of Ages. I'm trying to ask why it took until his second on-camera mist exposure to Snap.
-
Why didn't Demoux snap when he went out in the mists in Well of Ascension? Did only the daymists Snap people?

I mean we do know that Adonalsium tinkered around with that entire system, including (I think) creating the Parsh as we see them, so he could have changed their gemhearts. Of course it's also possible that because they've adapted/evolved to change forms a lot, their gemhearts are an amalgamation of every type of gem.
-
I think due to the way you have to "push" Stormlight into the object of soulcasting, the gem would just store the Stormlight. I'm pretty sure one of the gems from the Essences can be a milky white. Most gems come in a large variety of colors.

I don't think so. Harmony could probably (provided the subject was spiked) confuse them every time they thought about that one memory or something, but other than that, I really don't think so.

Things the black spheres definitely are
Invocation replied to Extesian's topic in Cosmere Discussion
The black sphere is Brandon's soul when he's in full writing mode. -
Same issue as Nightblood, there. What is innocence? Who are your enemies? Would it only work on the enemies you can picture at that exact time in your life, or can it grow and learn? What about if you're your own worst enemy?

What exactly did Preservation do to restrain Ruin?
Invocation replied to Fanghur Rahl's topic in Mistborn
Ruin wasn't technically trapped there, but his focus was there, waiting for something to happen, and where Shards focus brings about a manifestation of their power. This was the black smoke, which is notably more pronounced as the Well grows more full.- 12 replies

There's no doubt it would be difficult, but that's the best way I see so far for this to happen.

#2 is the most likely if you are taking them up as 16 Shards, each independant-ish, but that's where a Bondsmith would come into play. Unite the Shards into essentially Adonalsium again and you're pretty much good. Probably.

Hoid likes instant noodles and has his eyes on Scadrial. Other people want noodles too apparently??? This just in, everyone: Adonalsium's secretly just the Flying Spaghetti Monster and the only way to bring him back is to make every Shardworld have instant noodles, so the entire reason another Shard is messing around with Scadrial is because they want to do their part in resurrecting God via noodles. The Sho Del are just walking piles of noodles. Edit: Normally common sense would tell me to not post this but it's like 2 in the morning and all my brain cells are dead.

Pretty much what happened with the Lord Ruler and everyone else who held a fraction of Preservation's power would happen if you gave up the Shard, though you could probably make your physical body have a mega-charged version of the Shard's magic system if you wanted, provided it doesn't require a bond like the Nahel bond (see again, TLR giving himself Allomancy without a bead of lerasium, just by remaking himself).

Would still be difficult to counter as the Fullborn adjust to find ways around stuff and the tech adjusts to the adjustments and so on forever. To have a solid, pretty much uncounterable strategy against a Fullborn would require a significant amount of luck, cannon fodder (?mist fodder?), and an extremely powerful weapon. Nuclear or the chemical napalm you mentioned would probably do it, assuming the Fullborn doesn't realize and figure out a way out.

Crackpot (probably) theory about Autonomy
Invocation replied to Fanghur Rahl's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Autonomy is one of those Shards whose Intent is variable (I'm 90% sure I read that somewhere here), depending on the Vessel, so theoretically there wouldn't require any blending of D + D with Autonomy if whoever is holding Autonomy has the right influence upon the power itself via their perception on what Autonomy is. For all we know, it could be that they are viewing Autonomy as being the only major power left in the cosmere, so doing anything to help D + D get obliterated would benefit that. I don't think we'll really know much about that until we can get some more direct focus on Autonomy. -
I'm talking about for the cosplay design. I'm aware of the Shardplate fitting the body mechanics.

Every time I see this I am reminded of when I had only read Reckoners and Mistborn and posted my first thing of me being an idiot about Reckoners being cosmere. I want to slap myself.

Hemalurgic Spikes Made From A Person's Iron Content
Invocation replied to Invocation's topic in Mistborn
I admire the art of what you've done here. In a side note: we may have just discovered how Eras 3 and 4 Scadrilians will dispose of their corpses! -
The issue with that is Harmony taking control of the mega-spiked dudes and ladies.
-
The Set is much more of a potential threat now that they have Hemalurgy, yes? Provided the speculation of Wax and the crew that their goal is to breed a Fullborn is correct, and based off of this: it would no longer be a many, many generation thing, but only, conceivably, a few generations. Less than 10 to make a complete Fullborn. They're suddenly a more major threat, yeah? Am I understanding this right?
-
I agree with Darkside, personally. I'm digging the whole "UV glow" aesthetic, plus the technology.
-
Fair enough.
-
@Calderis Is it possible they're leftovers from the (not sure what the right word would be here) resonance, maybe, across the three realms from The Big A's destruction?
-
I suppose that would tend to put a damper on things like that, yeah.
