  1. Mistborn or Warbreaker, probably. Mistborn because of few Stormlight characters and an interlude, Warbreaker because for the same reason, really,
  2. Is there a varying level of connection per person per planet, or is it all the same? I personally think it would be different, but I need someone with more knowledge's help.
  3. They'd get along quite well, I'd think. Trading stories abound! Kelsier and Vasher
  4. That sounds interesting. I'd need a little more information about the campaign and the mechanics to decide, though.
  5. I'm with Calderis. My money is on following Ishar, based on how much he goes to ask him stuff.
  6. In Oathbringer, Hoid makes the light drain out of Shallan's Girl Who Looked Up illusion. How? Is it just because he has Yolish Lightweaving?
  7. I thought that was what the Nightwatcher did. Wyndle said she shouldn't be able to touch him so she must be partially in the Cognitive in Edgedancer, so I thought that was what let her metabolize to Stormlight.
  8. So we know the reason that Lift can take food and make Stormlight is because she's partially in the Cognitive Realm. Are Scadrilians the same, hence why they "burn" away the metals in the same way Lift does food, or is it just something to do with Scadrial's particular origin?
  9. Some of the rapidity might have been the fact that the Shard(s) being used were solely responsible for the creation of Scadrial, and as such, permeated it, potentially generating the ability to make great changes more quickly and easily, with only a fraction of Preservation's power in the case of TLR. I do not know whether Adonalsium shaping Roshar would have the same effect with the rest of the Shards, since they didn't really exist at that point.
  10. That's what Brandon wants you to think.
  11. I'm thinking that due to the whole "One might save us, one will destroy us" thing from the back cover of Way of Kings, plus Kaladin's penchant for sacrificing himself, plus even the darkness that Kaladin harbors (in all variations), he might be the one to fall and become Odium's champion. Either him or Szeth, for similar reasons. Thoughts?
  12. Seeing that juxtaposition is about half the reason I want him to be alive, tbh. Rusts, that would be funny.
  13. The Pendragon series (DJ MacHale) is pretty good. 10 books, progressively less innocent and short and more moral implications. Draconis Memoria might be good. Lockwood and Co. (it might be technically a children's series but it's pretty good anyway. plus ghosts.) The Arc of a Scythe series, along with just about anything else by Neal Shusterman (notably the Unwind series, Scorpion Shards, and Everlost).
  14. Good point. Cadmium and duralumin would work just as well. Ising the wanting of this
  15. Everyone treats Spook like he's dead, but given that he supposedly ruled for a century post-Catacendre, he was granted full Mistborn status by Harmony, and that he was assisting Kelsier with Hemalurgic stuff, would it be a safe bet that he is still alive? Brandon has said this, after all: He could have, in order to assist Kell further through the time needed by spiking someone's atium Feruchemy and compounding that forever (a la TLR). I kind of hope so, I like Spook.
  16. So does that means the Parsh have a different vocal setup too?
  17. The chasmfiends are described as having multiple voices in the beginning (around page 245) of The Way of Kings, specifically 4. Why? Why 4? Why multiple screams at once anyway?
  18. What happens if someone is burning both electrum and atium? Would they show a mixture of true and false atium-images?
  19. How much does the mind of the Shard influence the creation of the magic system? Hero of Ages seems to imply that the Intent of the Shard plays a factor in it, but how much is consciously shaped and how much just forms?
  20. We've been told it's not cosmere, reportedly. That's all I know.
  21. Yeah I got that bit. I meant in the mists themselves, only the daymists snapped.
  22. Ok, so it was only the daymists that Snapped people. That was my confusion.
  23. Full thick mists, yes, because Vin was able to get fairly close to Demoux without being seen, and he was in the city, walking from Keep Venture to where the meeting was, but it was definitely outside somewhere, because of the whole Lord of the Mists thing.
  24. When Vin was suspecting him of being the kandra spy, she followed him out into the mists to meet with the Church of the Survivor he preached for.
  25. So is it only the daymists that cause the Snapping, then? That was part of my confusion in the initial question.
