  1. That's fair, but Cunning means almost the same thing and also sounds pretty cool.
  2. What do you have against the Silmarillon? It's quite interesting.
  3. Some of this could be explained via Kaladin's potential Resonance, part of Syl not knowing things is also probably from the fact that while this is her second bond, she lost most of herself in between. As to #4, that's because the spren was almost entirely in the Physical Realm, allowing the Sylknife to interact with it like it would anything else. The "something" that Dalinar grabs is probably raw Investiture, which I think is a direct result of the whole "I am Unity" thing, just on a smaller scale.
  4. Yeah, that's in the WOB I gave too. I just wanted to connect a WOB to this statement from Eternal:
  5. Oh boy, do I have a gift for you, my friend. Someone else made that connection:
  6. We know he has at least perfect pitch, so Second Heightening minimum.
  7. Just one. There were no tricks, per WOB:
  8. 4 is being stingy. He probably has like 16.
  9. That's fair. We probably will find out more in the book that's coming up at some point, Nightblood.
  10. Yes I know, and I addressed that.
  11. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiC1f_g9bHeAhUNDq0KHfUiBr0QjRx6BAgBEAU&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.17thshard.com%2Fforum%2Ftopic%2F58576-what-do-tears-of-edgli-look-like%2F&psig=AOvVaw3RH_NV5OQJ2XMuJTdjQLRL&ust=1541117910728036
  12. There's probably some of both, honestly. If any type of spren was going to be varied, it would be the cultivationspren.
  13. Imagine a Taldain/Scadrial alliance. Two of the most advanced planets we know of, either of which could probably steamroll most of the others.
  14. Cultivationspren because of the large amount of people changing and growing due to a constant influx of new information. Lightspren because Google Maps allowing you to virtually go anywhere, the shopping areas, and also their communication via the copper lines on the Oathbringer ship is sort of like wires.
  15. That's also fair, but inkspren, lightspren, and cultivationspren would work too, probably.
  16. Wait there's a cuss replacement feature? I've just been doing it manually.
  17. But would he actually lose by default? Dalinar worded the challenge as him facing the champion, so Odium could wait until Dalinar was dead or choose a champion way in the future, much as Sadeas did when Kaladin jumped in with his challenge after the duel with Adolin's enemies.
  18. I need to get another copy of the Silmarillion. I didn't remember that part. Good connection, though.
  19. The ultimate compromise: bladed gauntlet. Simultaneously armor and weapon, no restriction on movement because you just punch things. Plus I'm dying to see someone run around with proto-knuckle dusters that sever souls.
  20. @Quantus That's a really good idea.
  21. Depends on how big the block is and how much room they have to move inside, though even if you did just coat them in liquid metal and have it solidify, if they had enough heat stored in their bronze, they could just melt their way out, I guess.
  22. An interesting question enough that I'd be down to see someone ask it.
  23. What events hit you the hardest in the cosmere books? Emotionally or just a blindside surprise.
