For bad and for good I think that The Stormlight Archive will be the "definite work" of Brandon. A mega epic 10 book serie with almost sinful number of pages, scope, *add whatever you want here*. And I think that Brandon know that too so he kind give his veryyyyy best when going this serie, in terms reseach, detail, scope, and that show itself in the book. I readed everything that Brandon wrote, all very good, but only WOK are spetacular, and to me the book was spetacular because Brandon dared to put everything that made him great writer(wolrdbuilding, magic system,moral conflicts, funny wit characters) in quantities that he couldn't do in smaller books/series. Well this, and Kaladin/Dalinar arc that are crazy good in the way that delivered maximum amount of closure in the now famous plot avalanche in the end of book =)

Be human is desire what you can not have. For some are a position of prestige in society. To others are equal gender rights =) Well the women have plenty of power, but they are limited in many ways, see Jasnah comment about freedom and mariage. A woman can't fight, can't show her right hand, can't engage in martial activities, can't rule, can't trade, etc. If you can't do something that the other gender are allowed where the equal rights =)

I think that don't mean that in his book would exist a person impersonating another gender. And how dificult would be to mess around a bit with this trope. If one person is trying to act like he are of different gender he wouldn't want be noticed, so if Renarim indeed are a woman Brandon did this in the right way because nobody noticed, even the readers =)

But Peter said that one thing in the book would be veryyy crazy, so maybe you are correct =) That would explain comments like that he had "delicate hands, slim arms" and that he always stayed behind his brother. In the most recent duel of Adolin Renarim acted like his was "mothering" his brother ( I know that this is very subjective, I'm just pointing tidbits) Now just one thing who nobody noticed that Renarim are a girl if he stay at the side of his brother so much time at least Adolin would have noticed. But take this upvote for you inovative idea, I never heard anyone proposing something like this in the forum =)

Yes, and the best thing is that the forum is very "clean" and "polite". Hardly i see here any hate or bashfulness that are so common in the "normal" internet. I'm for example, given my poor english and grammar(sorry for that), by rule always had problem to post in english language forums. Here even knowing that i'm probally the worst user in this departament never had any problem with anyone, even better time to time some nice folks correct my mistakes and give tips in a very nice manner. This is a very nice community indeed =)

Well Sanderson said that we would have some kind of explanation of who one created a plate, unnecessary to say that I'm very curious about the matter, maybe you are correct but to me the plates must have some kind of conection with surges and sprens =) My best guess involve a Bondsmith, lots of stormlight, a spreen and 5 liters of element X =)

I like your take on the matter. Sadly i feel that Kaladin will stay all the book in inner conflict. By one side he will strugle to convince himself that me must tell everyone about himself and for the ther side his mistrust in Amaram will make him afraid of tell the true to Dalinar given his friendship with Amaram.
