Will Dalinar learn how Kaladin became a slave, in WOR?
Natans replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
I agree that Amaram aren't "evil", but i believe in paying for what you do. Even a good man must pay for a evil thing he did. It's doesn't matter if your intetion are good or if you are a good person, you do wrong you must pay/redemn yourself (if like to put this way). What Amaram did was 4º qualify murder (planned crime, torpid reason, with use of treason and concealment of evidence, here at least) not a thing that you can justify by saying sorry. If Kaladin bring him to justice i will not mind for a second, but who knows maybe Amaram can make something good before the end, I just not holding my breath in this one =) PS: Don't mind me i hate traitors as life principle soo my opinion are biased =) -
Could be, The only thing that I'm sure is that and when we discovery what events and person this reffer we gonna say" how we didn't notice before, it's so obvious" =) I really like this in Brandon writing =)

Will Dalinar learn how Kaladin became a slave, in WOR?
Natans replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
In the way you put looks like Kaladin is guilt for didn't want dirty his hand with a shadrset that was used to kill his friend. He had all the right to do what he wanted with the shards, he won and by Alenthi law it was his. For the otherside, Amaram knew that what he done was wrong (he fell a light guilty and all) but even soo e killed his savior friends and slaved the man how saved his life to steel the plate and sword. He is guilty of that there is no midle ground. His intetion or justifications aren't enough to absolve him. I can be wrong but Amaram will have to pay for what he done in a way or another. If the end justify the means Taravagian too could be excused for his killing and assassination, he are fighting for the great good, and for what we know he did more good in bring the nations together and discovering the true in the death chants that Amaram did with his stolen plate. Same thing just a different scope. Just saying =) -
In some point I think that someone said that Dabbid saw something in the "other side", and I interpreted this as he really saw something, but I can't remember exactly what was that made think this, so I will gonna check that later =) Well, how about this. "All is withdrawn for me. I stand against the one who saved my life. Dalinar (saved him from Sadeas) I protect the one who killed my promises. - Amaram I raise my hand. The storm responds.- Obvious windrunner reference." Sidenote - I believe this phrase must be from some viewpoint character but not necessarily Kaladin, and the events described couldn't not have ocurred yet.

Will Dalinar learn how Kaladin became a slave, in WOR?
Natans replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well, don't wanna fault your logic, but his kind of argument is a litle forced. Amaram didn't save anyone, Kaladin did, and we don't know what would have happened if Kaladin wasn't betrayed. He could have taked the blade and did good with it, or he could have bonded with Sly even without the brigde 4 and helped other people with his power without the need of his squad die who knows ? It's very cynical thought put in Amaram count all good things that Kaladin did, Amaram didn't planned or foresaw what would happen. In this king of logic every evil deed could be justified if something good come of it, even if the person that did the evil thing didn't know that something good would come of it. But, hey, this is my opinion and I don't believe in the ticking bomb theory and even worse in machiavelic philosophy. Journey before destination to me =) -
Theory: Ghostbloods are trying to bring back the Heirocracy
Natans replied to Elementalist's topic in Stormlight Archive
Secrets inside of other secrets =) Someone have the "PeterAhlstrom Manual" so we can decipher his one word comment, I'm already running a Anagram app to lok for hidden clues in this word In a more serious note, if the Ghostbloods are trying to gain Dalinar "Good will" trying to kill jasnah for sure don't will help a lot. Maybe Kabsal was part a rouge faction or something or had personal reasons ?- 9 replies

Will Dalinar learn how Kaladin became a slave, in WOR?
Natans replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think that Adolin antagonism of Kaladin will be used to make Kal aware of the Kholin in WOR, Kaladin mistrust much be feed, I like the theory that they will rough up which other until their become friends, kind like breaked Moash, but until them I see a conflict here. and I don't have anything against Adolin but some conflict must occur for the good of plot. Something tell me that Renarin will bond with Kaladin he kind remember Tien =) -
Will Dalinar learn how Kaladin became a slave, in WOR?
Natans replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
Kaladin wouldn't like use a shardplate or blade, this was the root of the problem fist place, and Sly wound't like either. So I kind disagree with the Duel theory (but I would love see Kaladin fighting Amaram, I dream that Kaladin taked Amaram in secret in a one-one fight, with only his man as witness and in the fight he use his power that would be awesome, but unlikely). Odium taking easy to prepare the situation for the heralds desertion, well that would be very crafty I liked upvote for you=) -
Will Dalinar learn how Kaladin became a slave, in WOR?
Natans replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
Good point about not killing Kalalin. But sell him as a slave, what in the great majority of the cases end in dead or slavery for a life isn't really that better. His have a conscious, but this didn't absolve him, to me make everthing worse. If you really knew that you ar doing are a evil thing, and even so you do it this say a lot about your principles. I don't see revenge here, Kaladin have all the right, and in my oppinion, also the duty to see justice made. What must considered is only the metod he will use, two evils don't make one right (don't know the right saying in english, sorry =)) -

Natans replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Well folks Metacognition winned this topic someone give the man his prize =) Say whatever you want but love is a nice thing indeed, good luck in your life and if you have a daughter Harmony is a really beutiful name -
Same thing here, she looks know exactly how pull Adolin strings, she poised herself in Dalinar clerks, and Navani kind like her. To many people to fast, maybe Brandon is preparing her to be Shallan friend, after all Shallan can't stay at Jasnah side alll the time, or she come to camp with a set reason (spy, killer, etc) or both =) She kind remember me Vin in Final Empire (with the spy act), Anyone remember if was said from what pricedon and what are her origin ? And Moash, him are loyal this is for sure no backstabing. But If Kaladin, for any reason, stay between Moash and his revenge things could get bad very fast. Lets say, if Kaladin gain a blade or plate (another one, and this is only a exemple) Moash could very well desire the plate for himself friction between brigdemen. From Kaladin crew Moash are the one that I'm more uncertain, Kaladin surround himself with a nice bounch. Rock- Honorable, and Funny Teft- Want revive Radiants and Kaladin are his best shoot Sigiz - I guess will follow his master lead and trust kaladin Lopen - Nice guy all the way Skar - Loyal, good fighter (great candidate to Szeth kill) Hobber- Idolize Kaladin Dabbid - Own his life to Kalalin and when he snaps out his mental shock for sure will provide information(what hell he saw) Leyten, Peet, Drehy, Tofin, Yake(I missed someone that are still alive and was named?) - Well someone have to wear red =) Shen- Well this one will be interrising in future we all know =)

Kaladin is highly suspicious of every lighteye, for sure he "like" Dalinar but he only will tell him what coudn't put him and his men in risk.( like the use of stormlight example). If i'm Amaram a wouldn't show any emotion or say anything if encountered Kaladin because this would risk given others lighteyes motive to begin pry to find something worthly to use against me or, at least, to gain leverege(politics). When Amaram see Kaladin he will keep quiet and plan his move according Kaladin reaction, and I bet Kaladin won't openly antagonize Amaram(maybe some sting here or there at begin), because Kaladin aren't a coldblood bastard, but he will look a way to make Amaram pay for what he did. The Shardplate are secondary, I think that Kaladin could care less about, but maybe he use the fact that he is the true owner of the set to poise himself, a duel as was suggest would be nice, but 1- he can't kill a Shardbearer without other shard set or 2 - He can't use his power without expose himself what are a kind of deadlock. He killed a shard user catching him by suprise, but let's be frank he was poor chance in a fight without using his power. The plot thicks. Me like =)

Who are the Ghostbloods? (spoilers)
Natans replied to Meandering Monotreme's topic in Stormlight Archive
First post, first upvote welcome =) Thaikadar appeared in the book, he was the highprince that said no to Dalinar with "polite uncivility" or something I guess. My bet is that this one will be a nail hard to shallow, if he is rude with another Highprince good thing he isn't =) -
Hi there guys, here I come with another crazy thought, plx bear with me =) XXXX- Attention Heavy Spoillers below -XXXX Reading this topic http://www.17thshard...ted-magic-fish/ where our friend WeiryWriter(tks again) shared the aswer that Brandon gived to this question “Are the ‘magic fish’ of the Purelake the result of symbiotic bonds with spren?" some piece fit in my head and I kind created this Theory. Basicaly Brandon said this: Yes they are. Many Creatures in Roshar have *some* interection with spren. When I readed this a world of possibilities opened in my head. We already knew that the "moving islands" and the clasmfiend had spren conection. And now this confirm the animals also bond with sprens gaining "magical" properties. Apparently in Rohar bonding with spren are a normal, the Radiants did, the Parshendi, and "some" animals did, very commom indeed. I always thinked that was odd that Jasnah didn't understod why some voidbringers are described as a gigant beast (Shallan drawing) after all a Parshendi in the "Voidbringer form" hardly could be mistaked for a gigant monster. But if then parshendi aren't the "Titan voidbringer" from the drawing what are it?. The aswer is to me is that the Voidbringer creatures, (Parshendi in Odium form, Clasmfiend from drawing and thunderclast from Dalinar Vision) are in true a being that was possessed by a corrupted spren. (What would explain the origin of the myth of a voidbringer that possessed people or "stole their soul") The key point to me that prove this is the fact that in Dalinar Purelake Vision the "voidbringer" was a fish from the purelake that had red eyes. Well, we now know that the fish of the pure lake have some kind of spren bond, and we saw that they acted strange before a thunderlast appeared. To me that fish was possessed by a "Corrupted Odium spren". In another topic I proposed that Galivar Black stone in reality are a gem with a "voidbringer spren" trapped inside, and if I'm correct sure would explain why the Parshendi killed him. They feared what that spren trapped there could escape bonding with other creatures or even bonding with the Parsendiswhat would bring back their old gods. By the way, The Alenthi think that to the parshendi the clasmfiend are Gods, in true the "Gods" are a clasmfiend bonded with a corrupted spren, that also would explain the drawing in the book. This idea that all voidbringer are in true some creature that was bonded with a "voidbringer spren" for sure would fit with Odium way of doing things, after all, if he only need corrupte/create a spren to hijack all the creatures in Roshar that have a spren's bond,in this way he could spare his investidure and make a almost inifinite army of creatures, (Clasmfiend voidbringer, Parshendi voidringer, even the Thunderclast) to do his dirt work form him, very crafty of him. So what you guys think ? Could be that "corrupted sprens" hijacking the normal spren bonds be the origin of the voidbringers ?

Here's a WoR Mini Review From a Beta Reader
Natans replied to Shardbearer's topic in Stormlight Archive
*make a wise master voice* Look for the aswer in you heart, if you are worth the true will appear before your eyes -
The thing is looks like a being gain a certain level of inteligence when they bond (Ryshadium maybe could be a good example). If this come to pass Odium could control not a army of "animals" but a army of intelingents beings. Until now we know that exist: Thunderclast Clasmfiend Like monster(probally) Parshendi in "Odium form" Purelake redeyes Fish All of them could have a corrupted spren bond (very possible in my oppinion) but they aren't the only ceature in the Odium army. We have the "midlenight essence" wolves that apparently don't fit this theory. =)
-
Well this open a word of possibilities. We already knew that the "moving islands" and the clasmfiend had spren so now this confirm the animal bond process was a normal thing and cast light in the parshendi forms. Really well done take this upvote man you deserve tenfold =) BS said that the clasmfiend had a unique kind of spren in the book, or at least that their only appeared when a clasmfiend died. So what kind of spren bonded with a it, the same spren that bonded with Ryshadium and the moving island ? Diferent sprens ? Another thing the parshendi could bond with this spren and evolve in The Parshizilla ? (Voidbring in the Shallan drawing, or a corrupted(Dalibar pure like vision) spren could make a normal clasmfiend into a terrible beast.=) My new pet theory is that Odium hijacked all this spren's bond and corrupted many beings into voidbringer. This would spare his investidure and make almost inifinite army of creatures to do his dirt work. Another thing, do you guys remember the stange fish with red eyes in the purelake vision ? Guess what Odium corrupted spren in a purelake fish =)
