Face could pass, but the body build are of a more mature woman. In the book she is something like 14(13x1,1) earth years, so it's possible that she is something like this but, I pictured a more innocent face. One thing that catched my attetion is who did the drawing? And he did drawings to others caracters? It's was Tor commisioned or Brandon?

I see that there is some discussion about the fact that Shallan see many sprens. When I' readed the book I notice that the very first time that Shallan drawed a cryptic was when she drawed Taravagian picture. The spren was behind him. We know that cryptics bond when true(secret) are told, and we know that Taravagian are one of the character that was more "trues"(secrets) so maybe the fact that Shallan see so many crypitcs could be because the cryptics are attracted to Taravagian(and other persons) because of the secrets he/they hid. If he don't have a "broken soul"(snapped or something) he can't see or bond with the spren, but spren are attract for their given atribute, like honor, or fire etc, and in this case by his "trues" so he could attract the spren even without see them and Shallan only see many sprens because they are there for the secrets being keeped in the local.

If are Shallan or Dalinar chapter that would be nice. We have almost nothing of Shallan, and Dalinar chapter are severe incomplete. =)

Severe abuse at hand of robber/killer or such, or maybe someone that she trusted but wasn't really what she believed. RXXXp never was a major theme in Sanderson works, but the hate and way Jasnah speaked always left a bitter taste in my mouth (like when a read Martin or Peter V Brett). So, to me, this "trauma" could be related in someway to her "broken soul" and the fact that she is single even when she supposed be married in her age, would make sense given the fact that this kind of abuse sometimes leave a person with difficult to enter in relationships with the other gender. But this is just my guess =)

A "Stormborn" would be a godlike being, a single surge power are awesome, all surges that would be overkill. A person that could "create" everything out of air, could fly, teleport, call rays from the sky, heal fast, move fast, cure mortal wounds, etc. basically a god =)

I my be wrong but a think that one Roshar year are equivalent to 1,1 earth year, given the fact that they have hours with less minutes and days with less hours. So Kaladin wold be 21/22 years old. PS: Peter Ahlstrom said: "20 hours per day, and their hour is like a minute or two shorter than our hour." Which would make their Roshar year about 1.10 Earth years.

Sorry but i don't know. I think that even Brandon aren't 100% certain of what are gonna be the all the flashback books and in what order. Peter said in another topic that until the book is released nothing is certain, so you can be correct there is plenty of interview with many lists of flashbacks characters i don't know what are the correct one. =)

Each book will take one major character (Kaladin, Dalinar, Adolin, Jasnah, Shallan, Navani, Szeth, Taln) and give them 'flashback' sequences in the same way Kaladin got flashbacks in the first book. There are some open spots for which I'm toying with other characters being used. Other characters will get viewpoints now and then, but I feel that one of the ways that big series get off track is by changing the focus to side characters. (Note that I will continue doing the Interludes to give some other voices and perspectives screen time. Few of these will be main characters.) If you could bring a sheet with Balderdash and Figgldygrak and ask if Balderdash = Shardblade anagram are intentional and what are Figgldygrak anagam( if there is any) that would be awesome =)

But this don't change the fact that a person must have a broken soul AND act or beliece in some way to attract the said spren,much more complicate that lets say, "snap"in Mistborn, there you hitted the pit and f you had the right sdna you gained aceass to some power. Here you hit the bottom is only the first step, you must act in some specific way, attract some spren, bond it him and live by some ancient ideal, not easy. Aon, Alomancer, Biochroma, forgering, etc for sure are muchhhh more simple to obtain than surgepower. =)

But he didn't know if Dalinar had what take to be a Radiant, he said that there are space to Dalinar but this could be was a regular soldier or officer, after all you can't have a army without troops. The Radiants must act like champions/generals. Apparently you can only do so much in terms of radiant training, because you can teach the ideals and such but you can't make a man have a broken soul, or make him believe in smothing soo deeply that a spren would choose bond with him. This give a hard limitation to this magic system. Likely a Radiant is the pinacle of this magic sytem.
