    Edahs struggled to resist his attacker's grip, droplets of shadow-acid falling from his hands. Whoever his attacker was, they were strong- stronger than he was. their touch felt strange, too, as though it was trying to suck all the life out of him. It didn't seem to be having any effect that he could discern, but it was very unnerving. A bead of silver bounced off his arm, leaving a withered mark where it touched. In retaliation, he excreted shadow acid from every inch of his skin, coating himself in the oily black liquid. His attacker might be stronger, but they'd still be hurt just as much by the dark substance.

    Draug exhaled. "She's an Unmade. A kind of spren- but you don't know what that is, do you? I guess you'd probably call them 'spirits'. Anyway, this one makes people not notice or forget about magic. Are you sure you're okay? I held her back as best I could, but..." He shook his head.     Daa flashed for a second, then let out a disturbed hum as he recognized the presence of the dark spren. "I see a dark spren," he announced. "I fought one like that at PlasmaCore. Related, perhaps?"

    Draug groaned with relief as the waters receded. He slumped to his knees in the now inch-high water and took a deep breath of Stormlight. Instantly, he could feel its power washing away his exhaustion. It might not be real, he thought as he stood up, but it sure feels real. He started making his way over to where the girl was kneeling in the water. He waved at her as he approached. "Hello!" he called out. "Are you alright?" @Dr. Dapper
