    As I said before, nobody else has a problem with the way the polls are working. Therefore I will not be engaging in any more discussion along these lines, as it has no purpose. I’m not here to dig into the pedantry of polls, I’m here to RP. Ah, my bad. We use the PM so as to not clutter up the thread with endless discussions and stuff like that. Unless Sorana, as the creator of the PM, specifically wishes us to do it differently - and iirc she’s said the same thing I just did - we will not be changing this, as again, nobody else has brought up complaints. We have different people roleplaying now. There shouldn’t be a need to argue over every word in the questions. One person can look at the discussions going on, take the relevant information from them, and pose it as options. Boom. Done. What about my content was negative? I think that the only real issue we have is that these discussions aren’t going anywhere. That may be because there is nowhere for them to go. Oh, never mind. I never said I approved of that style of RPing, only that some people use it. I won’t fault them for it, but if they aren’t keeping track of OOC events, then that is their fault; however, they don’t have to vote if they don’t want to or can’t find the time. It would be best if we had as many votes as possible, to gauge what people want, but nobody is obligated to do so. Xino, this isn’t sudden. There have been complaints for months now. And regardless of what anyone wants, people will vote for what they vote for. Teenagers doing teenager things with magical powers and the emotions that come with sometimes fighting evil. It would be safest to stop assuming that. Literally everything is malleable. That doesn’t mean we should want to change it, not at all, but anything can be changed. Like your aversion to changing worldbuilding - inflexible. Xino, I don’t think any of the rest of us want to continue these lines of discussion. To the rest of us, there is nothing else to address. This discussion should already be at its end. We’re all tired of it.

    If they don’t want to be in the discussion, then they don’t have to. Not everyone wants to bother having discussions like these. Some people may simply want to vote and then move on. That was a hypothetical question... You don’t need to, because you can make a new poll when it’s done. Not every poll needs a compromise. Take the one about the year, for example. And that is your opinion. I sincerely hope that everyone is choosing what they do because they want it to happen. Xino, just because people are opposed to some of your ideas doesn’t mean they’re opposed to you. And compromise means you don’t always fully get your way. You’re coming across to me as someone who is not willing to accept that all your ideas might not be implemented. Someone always has to come up with the poll. Someone has to decide what the options are and how they’re worded. I don’t know how you’re classifying that as negative when I am trying to be excessively positive during this whole thing , If people aren’t keeping up with the thread, then that’s entirely their own fault. If they’re inactive then it wouldn’t make much sense for them to be voting anyway. Oh, never mind. Of course not, it’s possible that there are concepts everyone can agree upon. I’m saying that not every question will be like that, because that has been proven with this roleplay’s history so far (and the history of every other roleplay I’ve ever been in). We do. I don’t currently have the time to scour early pages, but I’d like to bring up two things. One opinion that has been expressed is that you have been taking things as canon without explicit approval from the majority, or that some didn’t understand what your worldbuilding was.

    They can have a say through polls, and some people won’t want the PM clutter/chatter, or won’t want to be involved in the worldbuilding process but merely vote when it’s done. You can. That’s because for most people, the reasoning is that they prefer it and think it will work better, whatever it may be. Pretty simple. And trust me, I’d much rather have people ask than have this discussion. If you ask nicely, which I’m sure you will, then it won’t sound anything close to that. I disagree, but this is a matter of opinion so I won’t go on. You should always keep track of the results of a poll, at least when it’s happening. Doing some through one method and some through another doesn’t sound at all worth the effort. I put enough effort into these. And again I reiterate, the odds aren’t in favor of everyone approving of the idea. Many contributions have been had about both plot and worldbuilding. Less contributions have been had when it comes to your worldbuilding. It seems you interpreted it differently from how I intended. Never mind. Xino, I don’t know what you mean to say, because it was voted against and the word ‘actively’ doesn’t make sense in that context. Everyone should have read the question before choosing it, and if they were aware of what they chose, then they were actively deciding on that option. I believe that you have been defending what you believe is canon. Clearly others don’t agree. My idea of canon is what we agree on as canon; the majority vote. That is, in fact, the definition of canon in this setting (disregarding the non-RP meaning, since all RPs are fanfics and what Brandon writes is the real canon.)

    Everyone has the ability to be in the PM if they so choose. If they don’t want to be in it, then that is their choice to make. I don’t understand where you’re coming from, to be honest. There is nothing that inhibits discussion in header polls. Anyone can discuss the questions at any point in time. Firstly, I’m going to be straight here, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll have many unanimous votes. Our objective is to have a majority vote, where we please as many people as we can. ...still not sure what you mean. We have talked about plot extensively. I’m 95% certain the words ‘singer features’ were in there, because I remember thinking about them when I made the poll. Then we have no disagreement. Maybe I should have phrased this as ‘different ideas about what is canon.’ Which is not allowed, and hasn’t been for quite some time. Then that’s your personal preference. Characters are the factor around which roleplays are built, however, so not writing them is presumably one of the reasons why people were ruffled. Anyway, that’s irrelevant. Then can we have him get captured? I don’t want to slow down Leona and the rest any more than we already have, so it would be great if you could post. I understand if you can’t think of anything, I’ve had those days too, so you could also just give me a rough outline of Sheln’s actions and I can write them. If you decide to write Sheln’s perspective on the Voidbringers, great. If not, great. We can make it work either way.
