  1. "Yep!" replied Yerik with no further explanation. "Nice to see you, Geff." Geff grunted as the three got on the rowboat. "It's been two days," he muttered under his breath, shaking his head and rowing them out to where the ship was waiting. As the boat was lifted out of the water, it wobbled unsteadily.
  2. Out at sea, a rowboat lowered to the waves and began rowing in. Yerik waved at the figure as it came into view- a gruff, bearded man. The rowboat landed and the man stood up, regarding Yerik curiously. "Done already?" he commented.
  3. "Behold!" gestured Yerik to a rather medium-looking vessel. "Our ship!"
  4. The corkscrew began to churn up the ground, spraying dirt and pebbles into into the air. @The Wandering Wizard @Channelknight Fadran The trio walked through the forest for some time, heading towards the coast. At last, they broke through the trees, revealing... @CalanoCorvus
  5. Yerik nodded, retracing his steps back to the boat he had landed on.
  6. Anikel nodded in satisfaction, pulling a corkscrew-like item from his pack and sticking it into the ground.
  7. Yerik sighed. So much for that plan. Resigned, he set off after Hyron. Anikel squinted. "So... can we dig?"
  8. Well procrastination has got the best of me. No time to study the thread so... Bookwyrm.
  9. Yerik kept his arms raised and did not resist. "Can't I stay for a visit?" Anikel frowned. "Quendi?" he spoke under his breath. "What are you doing?"
  10. Yerik slowed to a leisurely walk, trying to appear as if he had just been running because he felt like it. "Hello!" he said as cheerfully as he could to the approaching authority figures. @The Bookwyrm
  11. Yerik sighed, making a motion as if to follow Juuno's advice. Then he turned and bolted. "Help," shouted Terakor. "HELP!" @Channelknight Fadran
  12. "Look, how many people do you have here? A thousand? Five hundred? Surely you can't speak for every person on your island."
  13. Yerik edged sideways. "I'll leave, I promise. Just give me a chance!"
  14. Mat (2): Stick, JNV Stick (3): Silvereye, Wiz, Danex Turtle (3): shadow, Archivist, Xino Cinnamon (2): Bookwyrm, Mat Xino (1): Illwei Devotary (1): Alvron Bookwyrm (2): Devotary, Shining shadow (1): Xino With an hour left in the cycle, Danex breaks the tie. Interesting. I will vote Turtle.
  15. Yerik jumped. "Oh! Hey. Uh, fancy seeing you here. I don't suppose you could direct me to the rest of your people?"
  16. Mat (2): Stick, Matrim Stick (2): Silvereye, Wizard Turtle (2): shadow, Archivist Cinnamon (1): Bookwyrm Xino (1): Illwei Devotary (1): Alvron Bookwyrm (1): Devotary Shadow (1): Xino I've been getting kind of a strange vibe from Matrim personally, but I don't have anything solid. Moreso, would Matrim have killed Kas? I feel like the choice of Kas as a kill choice points heavily to a newer player/less active player/hasn't been elim recently player calling the shots. With that, Shadow. One could make the argument that their self-admitted meta-matching makes no sense as an elim. I feel like there is a decent possibility that it's a gambit, however, in an attempt to confuse people away from thinking about the implications of the NK. ...Now that I say that out loud it sounds a lot less convincing. Oh well, Shadow matches my profile of a lurker elim, and I don't have time for anything else tonight. We'll see how I feel about things tomorrow.
  17. Anikel nodded curtly, swinging off his horse and beginning to scan the ground. Terakor did the same. ---Some time later--- Terakor paused. Was that... a tremor? Carefully, he stabilized himself against a tree and concentrated on the metal rod in his hands. Sure enough, it was vibrating- ever so slightly. That could only mean one thing: the vein was near. Excitedly, he began jogging forwards, waving the rod back and forth to try and pick up a stronger signal. Gradually, through trial and error, the buzzing began to become more intense, building to a comfortable hum. "Guys!" he declared excitedly. "Guys, I-" He cut off abruptly as he rounded the corner and saw a tiger-like figure passed out on the ground in front of him. @Channelknight Fadran Yerik blinked. "But... it is physics-" Too late. The Hwindi had already ducked behind the net. Yerik hmmed. Carefully, silently, he made his way under the net and followed. @CalanoCorvus
  18. Yerik blinked. "Well... what counts as unmanipulatable?" Anikel grunted. "I can get you a piece of the ore. Refined... not so much. Not my job, you see."
  19. "Blasphemous?" Yerik seemed puzzled. "Well... what makes you think it's blasphemous?"
  20. People who didn't vote last round: Illwei - Pushes for me but doesn't vote me. Defends her reasoning but seems to be against the train? Very strange. Archivist - A new player. If e, it's possible teammates told them not to vote. JNV - A couple of posts I can't quite read. Alvron - Declared non-voter. Shadow - Busy D1 Turtle - Not present People who voted but then retracted: Kas - near the end of the cycle, came back to examine the lead trains, voted then unvoted me. Devo - Voted then unvoted ashbringer. Wizard - Last vote was on Turtle, Silvereye - Last vote on Mat, seemed unsure about the game. Of these people, I'm most suspicious of Illwei.
  21. "Can't you at least give me a chance?" pleaded Yerik. "If you're right, I'll leave. I promise."
  22. ...Well shoot now I kind of wish I had been exed.
