Instead of thinking of it as a paper, think about it as a discussion with someone. What would points would you really likes to get across? What background knowledge should you give them so they get your points? What facts do you know that support your ideas? Anticipate what questions or arguments the person might have. And, for the love of Pete, don't pick a topic that no to little research has been done on. I made that mistake with my thesis. It was a mess.

Clearly waffles are superior. I have two main reasons. 1. Built in butter syrup pockets. Math and I aren't friends, but I imagine the surface area must about double for waffles. One of you math folks figure that out. 2. Waffle rhymes with falafel. The real question here is do you prefer soft melt in your mouth waffles or crispy crunchy nice bit of fry waffles?

Pretty sure that Jasnah was frosty and a heretic before Gavilar's death. Plus she soulcasts and meets some Inkspren on the night of his death. Not sure if anyone's confirmed that was Ivory she met. We know that something happened to traumatize her a child and make her distrustful.

I think at this point there are so many secrets it's almost easier to ask what you're not obsessed with. XD Some of mine have been mentioned by other folks (Aimia, the Shattering, the nature of Odium's Intent, unknown Shards) I'll throw in: Historical truths tied in with Wit's stories. Fiction? Based on actual events? Actual events that people assume as fiction? Did Hoid participate in the events or the creation of the stories?

I wonder if this isn't the answer somehow to ending the Fused. What if Dalinar, or someone else, is able to claim and remove whatever it is that runs the rebirth cycle. This might be how Jezrien was able to be killed? Soul dagger claimed his....whatever. Also interesting to note that the Fused are apparently incapable of defecting from Odium without sacrificing their semi-immortality. I wonder if he can do this to them from anywhere, like with a wave of his hand. Also wonder if it would kill them outright, or just make them mortal in the normal way.

I agree with the idea that they were likely put in remote areas to keep people out of them. Maybe it also relates to Shadesmar? Wouldn't high mountains be "water" there? I wonder if the Horneater peaks looks like a chain of small islands in the CR.

So we know that the seas to Aimia are very rough and dangerous. Most people are also spooked when it comes to going there (which is quite sensible give then "no one has ever returned" thing). We also know that the Sleepless aggressively defend the island from explorers. I have to wonder how the trip is in Shadesmar. The rough seas would instead be land (possibly mountainous). Do the Sleepless have agents on the Shadesmar side also barring access to the island? Or maybe it's the opposite and using Shadesmar is the only allowed method, like an entrance test of sorts. Any thoughts or WoB on this?

Kalak was seen with Nale in the WoR prologue, though not named, and seemed fairly mentally okay, as insane Heralds go. Maybe a little anxious/paranoid. I'm still really curious about about their presence at the celebration. I assume we'll learn more during one of the future book prologues if they continue to follow different POV of that event. In the prologue, there's nothing in the description of Kalak to help figure out what his current position or location is. It's mentioned he could pass as Alethi, so it's possible he's still in Kholinar trying to blend in. Considering how mousey he seems to be, I could see him being some sort of spineless, fawning, low ranked merchant.

So are you saying it is related to intent? If you're just globetrotting you go around the planet, and only step across interplanetary space if you're attempting that? If so, that makes travel without a guide very, very, interesting. I'll throw in an old topic of mine as well:

For all the differences between the two charts, there is one similarity: the color of the orders stays the same. What that implies, I don't have a clue. Just an observation.

I see it more as Hero worship, personally. Although there's definitely some overlapping, blurry lined, gray zones where different types of love are concerned.

You've said previously that Kaladin's chapter icon (spears, flag, eclipse-thing) will make sense later. I have a theory, but I'm trying to avoid a RAFO. Can you tell us what colors are on the banner/flag of his icon? Or, if a Fused were to see that flag, would it have meaning to them?

Discussing The Little Red Hen with my kindergartners today. Watched a simple video on how wheat becomes flour and then bread. We've also unrelatedly been learning about plants in science. One of the kids, with a look of horror, suddenly asks, "So bread is made from plants?" And for whatever reason it caught me off guard and my brain froze. Literally sat with my mouth opened in silence while my internal monologue went: "No. Yes? Wait what IS bread? It's just like wheat seed, water, and yeast, right? Salt? It's smashed up wet seeds with....wait what is yeast? Isn't it a bacteria or something? WHY IS BREAD SO WEIRD. WHY DON'T I KNOW THINGS." My final answer was something like, "That's a good question....Uhhhh.....bread......isssss.....made from.......crushed up plant seed. So......yes. Some parts of it." So now some my kids think bread is kinda weird and gross. [Also turns out yeast is a fungus. Thanks google.]

It's not Odium or Everstorms, oh no. It suddenly occurred to me that there are no dogs or cats on Roshar. (NO axehounds do NOT count). No pup pups! No mew mews! No wonder all our characters are so stressed out. Kaladin doesn't need a hug, he needs a husky! Seriously, he's such as dog person. And don't act like Jasnah wouldn't admire a cat. So when they find themselves depressed, confused, burdened, and/or isolated, they can at least get a wet nose boop and a demand to be petted to distract them. I demand the worldhoppers address this problem immediately. I can't be that hard to transport animals through interplanetary space dimensions, right? i mean horses made it through. In fact let's take this to the next level. This is the plan to defeat Odium. We will cover him in golden retriever puppies. You can't have that much hatred when you're covered in puppies.
