  1. So we have a few possibilities here: either Ark or Fura is lying about being targeted with chromium or we had a duralumin armed leecher having fun with their abilities. The choice of Fura and Ark in the last scenario is interesting; I don't believe there's anyone who suspects both particularly much. Is anybody willing to claim they had the duralumin or chromium medallions last cycle?
  2. I had tin, aluminium, iron, and bendalloy last cycle. I wasted my scan confirming that Steeldancer did have two bendalloy. Assuming Snipexe's gold claim is correct, there were 28 other medallions + Drought's pewter out there last cycle. Does anybody know where they all went? In terms of suspicions, I plan to run my Ark + Snip theory into the ground if need be. I'm somewhat confident in Fura, Xino, and FatherTiempo, and Itiah being villagers, with Steel and Drought being question marks.
  3. So Snipexe's gold scan claims that Roadwalker was telling the truth with his gold scan. That still suggests that shane soothed me, but as nobody has claimed brass and Xino says there isn't any, I'm struggling to come up with alternative explanations. I admit to being unsure as to why Drought was lynched last cycle. Maill seemed to have largely cleared everyone except for Drought and I, for reasons I m not quite sure of. Fura created a group of suspects based on forgetting that CadCom had an aluminium medallion when he died, but then never updated their suspicions when that fact was realised, and didn't come back to change their vote.
  4. That's an interesting strategy, that I can think about for tomorrow. For now, my vote isn't going to accomplish much where it is. Snipexe, Droughtbringer.
  5. Drought(2): Maill, Fura Devotary(1): Steel Snip(1): Devotary I really don't like how Snipexe has been around recently, yet still hasn't shown up to explain their vote and riot on Xino despite being tagged several times. I personally feel it's a bad idea to let players ignore direct questions with no consequences. Perhaps one more tag will have some effect? @Snipexe From my earlier posts, I feel Snip/Ark are more likely to be evil than Fura. I'm still not sure how I feel about Road's odd and at least partially false claim that he and Ark were evil, with additional neutral roles. I do still believe that if Road and Snip were elim and Ark was village, Snip would have double-voted for Ark instead of Xino. I haven't looked at Drought much at all, but I can try to do so before rollover. Is there anything I should know about Drought other than being unwilling to reveal medallions and bringing up the possibility of Steel being neutral?
  6. Right, you said Itiah in your post and I forgot to go back and check Roadwalker's original scan. I looked through all of Itiah's posts though, and I didn't see where he claimed to have a bendalloy medallion C2. @I think I am here., can you point me to where you claimed this? It looks like I missed this altogether. At the very least we know that Roadwalker was lying about Elandera being involved in the village kills, as she was revealed as a normal villager upon her death.
  7. Elandera was the other alternative, as she died with a zinc medallion. Snipexe is the only surviving player to have had a zinc medallion last turn. My paragraph is hedgy because I'm listing out possibilities, rather than giving likelihoods. I'll do that later. When you say all the bendalloy is accounted for, where did they come from? If Roadwalker was telling the truth about six bendalloy, then during cycle 2, you had two, with Fura, FatherTiempo, and Itiah having one each. That only adds up to five. I'm still not sure how he missed Eternum's name in his PM, but that's pretty much a dead issue at this point. Is this about Roadwalker asking Ark to confirm his gold scan, or is there something more that I'm missing? Last cycle, I had cadmium, bendalloy, aluminium, tin, bronze, and pewter, without having used an iron medallion the cycle before. It's kind of odd how medallions keep getting concentrated into the hands of so few. Assuming Roadwalker's "gold scan" gave a semi-accurate representation of the number of medallions, there were thirty five medallions distributed among twelve people. Roadwalker, Elandera, Fura, Mail, Drought, and I claim to have had fifteen medallions among us, so that leaves twenty medallions among the remaining six players. Everyone else, does this seem accurate?
  8. Roadwalker being elim and Elandera being village pretty much confirms that it was @Snipexe who rioted Itiah's vote to Xinoehp. That seems overly aggressive for a vote cast without to much reasoning. While Fura did defend Roadwalker too strongly, I'm still suspicious of Ark and now Snip. The pairs appear to be counter-aligned; if Fura is evil Ark and Snip likely aren't, and if Snip is evil Ark likely is as well with Fura being a villager. We could also have Ark as the lone elim in that group, or all three of them are villagers.
  9. So Itiah's vote was rioted to Xino, Steel's vote was apparently not soothed, and someone used bendalloy to prolong Roadwalker's life. I used tin to scan for zinc today, so I've narrowed down the riot to two suspects, one of which seems significantly more likely. I'm currently thinking to reveal the results of this scan after we find out for sure whether Roadwalker is evil.
  10. It looks like this day wasn't long enough for us despite the extension. Roadwalker hasn't clarified anything, Ark never came back, and we still don't know if a specific medallion can return to the same player and whether a gold scan would consider that to be passing. I'll follow through in voting Roadwalker, but it really would have been nice to know what's going on.
  11. @Snipexe, are you referring to Elandera's analysis of my D1 remark about elims maybe not giving tin medallions to villagers? The subsequent knowledge that there are plenty of tin medallions in the game, the max amount according to Roadwalker, seems to make my original statement invalid. While the elims certainly could have given out tin medallions to themselves and likely did, I'm not seeing the possession of tin D1 as being innately suspicious. Even if I did, I'd be more likely to vote for Roadwalker, which I might do anyway as I've yet to see any solid evidence for why Roadwalker's scan should have shown a singular brass medallion .
  12. Not having access to the flesh puppets' memories could be so inconvenient at times, lamented Somne yet again, chasing down their latest quarry in a taxi. This current body had obviously known how to drive, yet Somne still hadn't quite figured it out, despite having practiced for years. No host had ever lasted long enough for Somne to receive actual instruction, so the extent of their driving experiences were the many times they had used a vehicle to close the distance to a target, only to inevitably crash and be forced to obtain a new body. This was no great loss of course; the puppets killed themselves frequently enough in car accidents that one more didn't look suspicious, and the time gained by driving far outweighed the time lost by switching bodies. After the first few accidents, Somne learned to carry a weapon if at all possible to dispose of a crippled but still living puppet. Luckily, this taxi's now deceased passenger had carried a pocketknife, so Somne was prepared for when this latest driving adventure came to an abrupt end. Somne had alerted their team members as to the situation, and awaited any incoming messages as the taxi barreled its way towards its fleeing target, a younger-seeming man glowing bright yellow, evidently attempting to be slightly more subtle than a car accident. If the taxi managed to survive the next few seconds, Somne believed they could probably run over the target and steal his stuff before regrouping with the rest of the team. Grinning, Somne pressed the puppet's foot firmly on the accelerator and aimed for the sidewalk.
  13. I'm pretty sure a lot of that is people receiving different medallions of the same type, but I'm not sure it's impossible for a medallion to be randomly given to the same player. Ark explicitly denied having used gold on the cycle he had it, so I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Could you explain a bit more?
  14. I don't think that can be the case, because if there were two brass, both of them would have passed to shane. Since shane died with only one brass, we know that isn't true. This is another reason bendalloy is good for the village apparently, as we could have resolved this by asking shane if he soothed me. I'm almost entirely sure he didn't because he specifically said he wasn't going to use his brass medallion. @Roadwalker, as nobody has specifically tagged you for this, what is your explanation for why your gold scan suggests that the only brass medallion was destroyed with shane? If no explanation is forthcoming, it will likely be worthwhile for any current brass holders to claim. I do not have a brass medallion.
  15. @Lumgol: Will vote tallies reflect the changes due to vote manipulation? If so, village rioters may not consistently double-vote if they know that an elim with a zinc spike is forced to have their vote count double. If an elim with an atium spike dies, can the Inquisitor choose a different power when it's reused? Would the second bearer of the iron spike still gain the extra life? Until a steel elim can be created, the village has a 50% chance of blocking the kill by having the lurcher claim and a coinshot redirecting the kill to the lurcher every cycle. If a steel elim is created, attempts to kill or spike the lurcher will still only have a 50% chance of success. If a misting is spiked with a metal other than bronze or atium, would a bronze scan only reveal their original role? What would be the results of scanning the Inquisitor? If you're worried about the Inquisitor dying before being able to convert anyone, you could use an LG2 style mechanic where the Inquisitor starts out with all the spike abilities. If you allow atium to change abilities upon reuse, this could mean the Inquisitor starts out with three lives and has a good chance of converting someone unless they're lynched D1, successful coinshot trying to spike someone, then lynched again. To balance this out, iron and atium spikes could only ever grant one extra life.
  16. Since gold scans the medallions that were passed the night before, we are a brass, aluminium, and tin medallion down from Roadwalker's scan results. Who had the sixth bendalloy medallion on D2? Eternum had two, so one of Fura, shane, and FatherTiempo must have had two bendalloy medallions as well. With only two zinc medallions, either Itiah is evil or there is an elim with zinc and duralumin. If anyone tin scanned for either of those two metals during the day, they should reveal once D4 starts at the latest. Cross-referencing with Elandera's D2 list of claimed medallions reveals no obvious liars, as there are at least as many medallions as were claimed for each metal. The strangest thing though is that if shane was indeed the only player with brass, why did they soothe my vote? Did they really not want Ark to die or what?
  17. We'll find out when Roadwalker posts the list of medallions. He can't copy/paste from his PM, but he's allowed to fill in the following list with the number of each type of medallion: Steel: Iron: Pewter: Tin: Zinc: Brass: Copper: Bronze: Electrum: Gold: 1 Bendalloy: Cadmium: Duralumin: Nicrosil: Chromium: Aluminum: 6
  18. No, Steel shifted his vote from shane to Ark near the end of the cycle. The three vote manipulations were my vote being soothed, and your and Drought's votes both being rioted onto shane. The possible explanations I can think of are: Ark is evil, and the elim double riot that saved him didn't realize that Steel changed his vote. This doesn't address where the soothe came from, if this was also elim it would have required two evil players on in the last hour or someone with duralumin+zinc+brass could have double-soothed. If Maill was evil with this collection of medallions, and logged off before realizing that Elandera and Steel followed my vote, this would sort of make sense. Ark, Itiah, Droughtbringer, and someone active in the last hour are evil. The double riot might have been arranged earlier in the day or in response to Steel's original vote, and the soothe was designed to protect Ark. Ark is village, and the elims decided to have some fun and randomly double rioted onto shane to frame Ark. This still suggests two elims or a duralumin+zinc combination. Again, where did the soothe come from? Why would I have been targeted before voting? No villager had much of an incentive to soothe my vote; someone wanting to protect Roadwalker would almost certainly have soothed Elandera. Why wouldn't a duralumin+zinc+brass elim have double-soothed? Most other explanations are combinations of the three above.
  19. Looking back at D3, Drought didn't vote for shane either, which means two players were rioted onto shane. That's quite suspicious, and also rather odd. The double riot is certainly indicative of elim collusion, but why wouldn't they have targeted Itiah or Droughtbringer, who actually had votes? I suppose it could have been attempting to take advantage of Steel's temporary vote, but one of the previous two still would have made more sense. FatherTiempo's vote for Droughtbringer also disappeared. @Kidpen, can you confirm whether FatherTiempo was soothed and Droughtbringer was rioted?
  20. I voted for Ark, so soothing my vote helped kill shane. Since we had a sooth and a riot that conspired to save Ark and kill shane, I'm far more convinced that Ark is in fact evil. The only player around in time to see my vote who didn't then vote for Ark is Maill, so he's a reasonably likely candidate to be a partner. @Kidpen, can you use a zinc medallion to shift your own vote? Since gold is largely useless after it's used once, I feel it might be a good idea for the player with gold this cycle to just claim now and give us the complete list of medallions. Upon reflection, I don't believe the gold owner will necessarily be a target if they've already said everything they know.
  21. With everyone else claiming that they did indeed have bendalloy D2, and seeing no reason for Roadwalker to lie, I'm willing to believe there was another PM misread. That apparently happened to Xino as well, so I guess that's just something that happens. My tin scans were quite unambiguous, stating specifically which players had the medallions I scanned for, but I'm not willing to say that someone is evil for that mistake. Even in the tinfoil where Roadwalker and Eternum are evil and Roadwalker presents the bendalloy scans hoping to get one of those three lynched, it wouldn't make sense for Eternum/Maill to claim bendalloy. Our current lynch total stands at: Itiah(1): Fura Drought(1): FatherTiempo (might not count because it isn't in red) shane(1): Steeldancer Ark(1): Devotary That's not a lot of votes. I have a few vague suspicions; Steel for tying the Fura-CadCom vote having participated in that discussion even less than I did, Ark for claiming lots of medallions without being killed/not using a gold scan despite posting that turn, Eternum/Maill for getting a pinch hitter without being that inactive. I don't really think any of those are great rationales for a vote, but I also feel that I have to cast some sort of vote. As such, I will mark Ark's name in red.
  22. It's odd because Roadwalker clearly did scan bendalloy; both shane and Fura confirmed that they had bendalloy D2. @FatherTiempo, did you have bendalloy during cycle 2? If so, that would mean all three players Roadwalker identified as having bendalloy possessed some, which would make it even more peculiar that Eternum was omitted from the list.
  23. Eternum claimed to have two bendalloy medallions at some point, but if you're claiming that he had them on D2, that conflicts with @Roadwalker's claim that the only people with bendalloy medallions on D2 were FatherTiempo, shane, and Fura. Since Roadwalker did this scan at night, he would have seen who began D2 with bendalloy, and Eternum's name was not on that list.
  24. From what I can tell, the main reason is that I was the deciding vote on CadCom after vacillating the entire cycle and not being publicly suspicious of anyone. I cast this vote because I figured that any decisive vote manipulation would be more likely to be in the hands of the elims, as insurance against a D1 lynch or to cause some chaos if the lynch was between all village candidates. I voted for CadCom over Fura because I felt Fura's updated claiming plan was more indicative of being a villager, and lingering suspicion over CadCom assuming that the Southern Scadrians could choose who got which medallions. That is indeed unfortunate, and another reason I didn't claim last night. Since I had duralumin and copper in addition to my tin medallion last cycle, I was able to scan pewter as well as gold, largely to test Fura's belief that the elims didn't send out any Pewter. Since we don't have a gold scan, I will say that there are at least three pewter medallions in play, possibly more if someone has multiple pewter medallions.
  25. Last cycle, I had a tin medallion. I scanned for gold during the day and Ark was the only player with a gold medallion, and should have been able to make a gold scan D2. While it's arguable that gold scans are only useful once and Ark should have instantly revealed the results last night so as to avoid dying prematurely, that did not appear to be the case, and I didn't want to out him last night in case he couldn't come back before rollover.
