I mostly meant to show that the dawncities aren't safer than other places.
-
But what is it?

Can someone enlighten me on fain/fainlife? I can't find anything on the coppermind. I believe it's something from Dragonsteel Prime?

Squires are separate from Knights Radiant, normally the friends or subordinates of the Radiant they belong to. However, because they're so close to a Knight Radiant, they're more likely to be noticed by a spren and therefore more likely than the average person to become a Radiant themselves. (end of OB spoilers)

Elantris is an Aon, not a glyph. Anyways, Stormseat already got obliterated despite being a Dawncity, so I doubt that's it. Also, glyph symmetry tends to be wildly different from possible cymatic figures, plus we actually have an art page in OB that shows a glyph 'evolving' over time, implying there is no 'true' form or anything like that, though on the other hand Kaladin creates the Windrunner glyph when swearing a new Oath.

TUBA - The Underground Bakers' Association
Leyrann replied to Stormblessed Dolphin's topic in The Alleyverse
We're already doing that. It might've gotten buried in the thread though. -
It doesn't mean it's canon, but it does mean a bronze age civilization is able to cause the Shattering.

A Knight Templar is a term used for people who aim to do good but think they are always right and tend to see evil where it doesn't exist, so that in the end they become evil themselves. That link gives a better explanation, but I do have to warn you that that site can take up a lot of time without realizing it because you just keep reading.

He's neither protagonist or antagonist. Those are terms from an out-of-universe perspective; the protagonist is the one the story is about, the antagonist is the one the protagonist is fighting. The question is, is he a knight templar? I think the answer to that is yes. Oh, and it's Taravangian, not Teravangion. It's all a's except for that one i.

Well, out of the options (Eshonai/Venli, Szeth, Lift, Renarin, Ash, Taln, Jasnah, as I believe the order is currently planned) I'm looking forward to Eshonai/Venli the most I think. Also Jansah and Renarin, though I assume their flashbacks will at least partially be about the 15 year gap, and of course the Heralds because they might have some flashbacks all the way back.

Marsh is sort of functionally immortal...

Okay, I guess I was exaggerating a bit. But still, it's really a matter of practice. The speed at which you can learn about the Cosmere, I have found, is amazing. It took me a few weeks to have the general stuff in my head and by now, after 8 months or so, it's only details that I don't know.

If this is not affiliated with the Dark Alley, which it is not as it is unaffiliated and neutral, I would like to join to become a member.

Actually, yes we can. It's a matter of practice. It may take a few months but eventually you'll more or less know all those times and the like by heart and the only advantage RShara and Calderis still have is the speed of looking stuff up, and they have an unfair advantage in that department because of being arcanists and knowing every single WoB catalogued.

You are an amazing being! (I would say person but I guess a squid isn't technically a person? Depending on the definition of person?)

You know what guys... Let's back off. We Dutch don't really want competition in waterworks expertise.

Maybe that's special about the flute? It's Awakened as well? https://wob.coppermind.net/events/217-salt-lake-city-signing/#e7276 https://wob.coppermind.net/events/97-idaho-falls-signing/#e2734 https://wob.coppermind.net/events/157-words-of-radiance-scottsdale-signing/#e2859

There's also "Ash falls from the sky", the first line of Mistborn that is also extremely important in the climax.

I don't think Rayse was supposed to be at the Shattering
Leyrann replied to Invocation's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Don't forget from the letter, quote from Hoid: "Rayse, on the other hand, was among the most loathsome, crafty, and dangerous individuals I had ever met." -
It would be fun if Shallan would end up making a real, autonomous Veil that could be with Kaladin while Shallan herself gets to be with Adolin.

Calderis and RShara are pretty similar in the quality of their arguments and speed of looking stuff up. Also, nice to meet you, looking forward to seeing more theories from you.

See @Calderis' reply.

All sentient life is. As for soothing, that's deliberately focused on changing emotions, and of course hard is different from impossible; for all we know Preservation may have given soothers much more power so they could achieve an effect on the same level.
