I wish that was the case. Even if I had the decency to buy books compulsively I don't have a bookshelf so that's a problem. TPBM will say something to the next person.

FOREVER Yes I did. And so did you. And everyone on this thread. I've been unable to win the game for more than 6 hours thanks to my addiction to this subforum. TPBM loves sea food.

Granted. Earth is now full of spren so you can be a Knight Radiant. Unfortunately, none of them take an interest in you. I wish for more rainy days. -

Oh, great timing! Would you be comfortable helping me with some illegal shenanigans? What's the worst thing to say when your honeymoon just started?

I'm struggling too, my current schedule is a mess. 8-14 school, 15-21 work. I'm finding it hard to make progress with my Stormlight reread, and I want to add WoT and some manga to that. I'm at a bit of a loss.

That's more productive in the long run. I think I kinda understand. In weekdays I can read every time I have 5 minutes to spare. During weekends I'm like "Well, I'm free for the next 12 hours. Time to play [insert game] until I go up ten levels or finish [insert show] in a day."

Ooh, there's a story that I shamelessly like to tell at every opportunity, and this seems like a good one. So, when I was about 10-years-old I was playing on my bike and saw a truck going really slow in reverse toward the corner. I was like "Can I get to that corner before the truck? It's going like a turtle." So there I go. It was a draw. So I was ran over by the truck, bike and all, and I was really scared, the usual. Surprising as it may seem, it was nothing too serious. I had scrapes all over and a weird lesion on my hips that gave me trouble walking for a couple weeks, but not much else. Except for my shoulder. My left shoulder hurt so they took me an X Ray to be sure. Turns out the accident reactivated a fracture, so to speak. My shoulder wasn't broken, but I had to keep it resting (you know, with those thing that keep your arm like, hanging in front of you. Gah, forgot the word) while it healed. Thing is, as far as I knew, I had never broken my shoulder. According to the doctor, that was the sole reason it was wounded in the first place, because of an old fracture that had just finished healing when the accident happened, but I didn't remember my shoulder ever hurting nor did my parents remember seeing me acting strange. And that's the story of how I discovered I broke my shoulder without noticing, have a nice day.

Wow, this thread keeps getting revived. Seeing the amount of hate some of my favorite characters get you'd think I'm rooting for the bad guys.

Another one, huh? This seems to be a common combination. Welcome to the Lightshaper club.

Granted. You have them growing out of your head as hair. I wish for world peace precisely 23 days a year. -
Basically the most versatile show ever. Future, past, different planets, ancient Earth, drama, silliness, comedy, sci-fi, even fantasy if it wants. The premise of the show can justify literally any plot and it could go on literally forever (and it's well on its way to do so), so in a nutshell it's a bunch of adults acting crazy stories written by other adults who were just having fun. If you're into something like that, you're in for a treat.

A Thing I Noticed on the Spanish Forums
Eluvianii replied to Mat's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Late reply. This is true but I don't know if it would affect anything here. It would be a problem with a longer text but even google translate is pretty reliable when it's only a short sentence, it takes care of things like that. It was fortunate actually that the Spanish version of SA has each order separated into two terms, otherwise the machine wouldn't have been able to translate them, plain and simple. I'm thinking Tejeluces instead of Tejedores de Luz, or Correvientos instead of Corredores del Viento. It would sound pretty ridiculous while we're at it. As for an example of what you were saying, this isn't exactly an example but I think it stems from the same thing. In a nutshell, Spanish has too many words. It's way too specific. Also most nouns have two versions, a feminine and a masculine, and well, other details, so most sentences end up being long because of how specific they have to be, while in English a simple version of the sentence sufices for different purposes and everyone understands it. The point, Spanish is a weird language, I don't know what they were thinking while creating it, I'm derailing this thread, sorry, and I wish there was a way to translate Orders names into single words without sounding like walking memes. What they did sounds cool though.- 15 replies

Who LOVES The Legend of Zelda!
Eluvianii replied to Ironwill2112's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Still, good to see the Warriors format is working for Nintendo. If this turns into an entire subseries you won't see me complaining. As much as I love the original format it's nice to see some great scale peril with lots of people involved when there's supposed to be a great scale peril with lots of people involved. In the mainline games sometimes it almost feels as if only Link is aware of whatever's happening. TP tried to involve a resistance but they were basically paintings (still loved them though). I really like seeing Hyrule movilizing entire armies when there is supposed to be a danger that big, it just makes sense. -

Ganted. Now you have a toothache. I wish for the answer. -
What about the fear of not running out of things to read? I feel like in 60 years I'm gonna be worried that I still have like six hundred books in my TBR and little time to finish. The ever-present TBR list is terrifying. While we're on the subject.

Crap! I Lashed it in the wrong direction. What's the worst thing to say when you're the Chosen One and you just failed to save the world when all you had to do was blow out a birthday candle?

A toast! For my best friend. He looks real comfy on that bed his family bought him. I had no idea what you're talking about until you told me, but now I wish I did.
