  1. Or Forge your teacher into someone who already read your essay, taking several months/years to do so.

The only way I can think of to figure it out is from Vin's massive pewter jump where she reaches 7 ft. or something like that, you might be able to figure out how much force that would have taken if you knew her weight but yeah, lots of things to take into account and that'd just be an estimate.
  3. From his own perspective we have it that he learned it from his family, although it could be argued that he's just insane. But he also doesn't seem to know the exact abilities of the Radiants either.
  4. I know, that's why I corrected you changes in gravity affect your weight NOT your mass. On the moon you have the same mass, different weight. Szeth never builds huge momentum and then become weeightless, the closest I can think of is when he half lashes a table upwards and then kicks it towards some soldiers, and it clearly has an impact. Stopping gravity's effect on you won't change the momentum you already have, although you could use it to slow down. Eg. If halfway through his fall Kaladin lashed himself upwards he would have decelerated and been travelling at 0 when he hit. But he doesn't slow or stop until right when he actually hits the ground, which means he either instantly lashes himself upwards multiple times (Like 20 or so) then back downwards or he has used a separate ability and again Kaladin tried to do a Basic lashing only a few minutes before this and failed. And again doesn't explain the ring of Stormlight that hits the ground.
  5. No, they have too much investiture.
  6. She could have blocked it out still, given that we never see her think about any of this in book 1 it's possible she doesn't remember it. Or she could have come in after the actual fight, not have seen the fight, closed her eyes, etc.
  7. It's from the MAG so it's not absolutely guaranteed but it's the only source we have on it.
  8. You could always just get a Rioter to rile you up, I've usually thought about doing the opposite though, Tapping heaps of connection and just walking past any guards who'd probably just ask if you need help killing the target and getting a Soother to Soothe away all the attachment you feel towards them.
  9. Lashings affect your weight, not your mass. I suppose if you did a full upwards Lashing you might be able to decelerate enough to land lightly, but you'd have to do that mid fall. But at this point Kaladin can't even do a Basic Lashing, and there's still that ring of Stormlight from his landing.
  10. Becoming weightless wouldn't help because he already had the momentum, he threw stormlight against the ground when he fell and did actually feel the impact a bit so it's not just a basic lashing. The snap is something Kaladin mentions some Spren can do, it's not specific to Syl, since she flies most of the time anyway walking sideways isn't a particular trick either, just flying sideways.
  11. Maybe what's in the safe is Shallan's spren? It's the only other thing I can think of unless it involves another Surge we don't know about and Shallan infused the safe or something.
  12. Feruchemy protects you against it's own effects so you shouldn't do any serious damage, but if need be you could just slow down to only double speed or so when actually pulling out the spike. When you can pretty much move instantaneously surprise is not necessary and this is also true of most tactics, if you leech an inquisitor once and he manages to down a vial before you kill him, he'll just stay out of range and spray you full of metal.
  13. Actually now that I think about it one of them might have been Soulcast into blood and the rest still Shardblade killed.
  14. 1 and 2 aren't absolutely certain, almost certainly so but not definitely, people seeing 'accusing eyes' could call them horrible so not necessarily a Shardblade and the others could have been cut post-death. Eve wilder speculation: I personally think that the monster in the safe is Shallans brother who got Soulcast into a lamp
  15. Forge yourself to be someone who has never read the wheel of time every time you re-read it.
  16. I think Vin got more all up, plus Vin got Marsh
  17. You don't need to be a good shot to hit an inquisitor. Just magnetize the bullet
  18. This. Definitely this. EDIT: And this.
  19. I'm pretty sure it's a fixed amount which is additive to your normal strength, thinking of when Vin makes that super jump and Ham is talking about it.
  20. And for someone with Tin any kind of mail is a dead give away because of the sound.
  21. I don't think you'd be invisible, you'd just be black instead of blue. Plus there will need to be gaps if you want to breath.
  22. Well they could just float in the air pelting you with coins, plus that much aluminium during the days of the inquisitors is going to be nigh impossible to find.
  23. Yeeah it's definitely safer to use Chromium instead, it's pretty well balanced actually, Using Nicrosil offensively runs a much higher risk but also for a potential reward, if you have Feruchemy I'd say that Chromium is the better option because once they are Leeched you can use your feruchemy to overpower them but if it was just a misting I'd go Nicro because you could actually damage them enough just with that.
  24. Well it would just make you a stronger mistborn, but there are certain ways to use it that we don't know of yet. If you're particularly vigilant with copper training you may eventually be able to shield others from emotional allomany. Whenever Szeth does another Lashing on himself it overwrites the previous one, he's not introducing a new force each time, it's the same pull of gravity to the earth he's just modifying it (Changing direction/magnitude) It stores actual warmth so yes you could.
