  1. It's in the annotations for book 2 I think.
  2. On compounding that'd be of very limited use, since you can't store the charge again like a regular feruchemist you'd have to use all that you got from burning it, you'd recover incredibly quickly but not so good for longer fights because you'd run out.
  3. The identity of the Shardbearer is unknown although it's almost certainly a member of the ghostbloods, some people have speculated that it might be Shallans eldest brother (the one who went missing) To be honest if I was in Kals position I probably would have taken the Shards. And finally no, he never says he regrets not taking the Shards (As far as I know anyway)
  4. Yeah, I'd say that it's just Kaladin being the leader of the three current KRs, since neither Jasnah nor Shallan would have much battle experience. Not a full restoration.
  5. Hmmm, I wonder if you could steal someones thunder with Hemalurgy, that'd probably need an Atium spike.
  6. I think they're just earlier versions of the alphabet, book two is supposed to be just after the ascension I think and book 3 is pre-ascension.
  7. Are your knives always going blunt? Can't find anywhere to store them? WIsh they had the unholy ability to burn out peoples retinas? Well thanks to Ghostblood corp. and their new range of Shardknives all these problems and more will be a thing of the past!
  8. Try to edit your previous post instead of double posting too
  9. That has to do with not leading to the centre of something else, not the body.
  10. There's some suggestive info in the MAG on that but we don't have WoB on it yet. Would definitely have some interesting implications if they could, especially with a few of my slightly crazier ideas about copper compounding.
  11. There is still some air resistance so slowing and stopping is to be expected, but I'd have to re read the chapter.
  12. On Zane he could have just obtained the angular momentum from something else and given that he's levitating he has the reduced friction to keep spinning. Kelsiers trick altered where he pulled on the metal, not which part of his body acted as the anchor. And both are at the far side of what's possible with control, with Zane needing Hemalurgy to accomplish it and Kelsier just being a freak of nature Not something 99% of mistings or mistborn are ever going to be able to accomplish.
  13. Yeah but feruchemy doesn't really change the Atium in any way, it just gets used for storage, so thinking about it something which actually changed the behaviour of the Atium would probably not work. But then again Awakening metal requires a pretty large investiture anyway, so that might be enough.
  14. Yeah sorry, I must have just mis read it before, because it does seem to be working fine now. False alarm I guess. EDIT: Yeah it's just a bit of a time delay, it's not stuck.
  15. Yeah I suppose it'd probably do nothing, I just wonder how it would react if it gained sentience, as a piece of concentrated Shardic power which would influence it more? Ruins Intent or its command?
  16. I've always wondered what would happen if you tried to awaken a piece of Atium.
  17. Not sure but I think my post count has been stuck for the last few days, it hasn't moved from 947 and I'm sure I've made a few posts since I checked it last.
  18. A crumple zone of less than a centimetre isn't going to do an awful much, padding underneath Plate is usually what provides cushioning from crushing attacks, and would still be worn.
  19. I want to see this, especially if it eventually learns how to use Hemalurgy on its own and then can also just spike people itself.
  20. I'd love to see a Transformation and Lightweaving combo
  21. Lightweavers! Title announcement? My birthday must have come early. But yeah I'm still going to take Brandons advice and pretend it's called the book of endless pages. Highprince of war is still the running title for Dalinars isn't it? EDIT: Also if Lightweavers are relevant to the plot and he wanted the title to reflect Shallan does that make it seem more likely to anyone else that her second Surge is Lightweaving?
  22. I always figured it has more to do with the death of the Shardbearers than the actual splintering of the Shard, although I suppose the splintering means no one else can take it up either. Since the Shardholder provides the cognitive aspect for a Shard the lack of that must affect the cognitive realm in that area.
  23. To Awaken metal you need a large amount of breaths so they'd be at the level of Nightblood. However if you just put a few Breaths in it for storage a Lurcher or Coinshot could probably push/pull on it.
  24. Well when Dalinar tries using the forms in his vision the KR don't recognise it, but it could be based on their styles and just have changed over the years I suppose.
