Edge: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/12274-question/page-129#entry176346 Joe: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/12274-question/page-127#entry176264 I think it's because this was before we all started using photobucket and they uploaded it from the comp directly to 17s and maybe because the thread's locked it was deleted or something? I can't find it on their pages either but maybe they can somehow so everyone bug them about it EDIT: If either of you are reading this I think if you go to make a new post then click on My Media then attachments they should show up.

Joe, Edge and I also have ponies and profiles but I don't know about anyone else. Did Kobold eventually get his or are we still waiting on it?

Well she does already have a pony I think, buried somewhere in the depths of the Questions thread I'm sure we all did self-ponies.

The Epic Twilyghts rule was a peaceful one, with but one exception, any citizen or Epic in her city caught loudly smacking their lips on hard candy was immediately and painfully put to death.

Voidus appeared once again, Realmatic realignment finished for now. "You may see her now Elsa, the danger's been minimised as much as we can but we'll need further study to determine the exact nature of what happened. Unfortunately as part of our safety precautions the Alleys have been dimensionally separated so leaving will be impossible for now without some adjustments. Just contact one of our Acolytes if you need to leave or allow someone to enter. I'll be in my Alley testing some solutions." Voidus assigned some acolytes to show Elsa in to see Winter then left to go to his personal Alley, the Stranger seemed to have immediate matters in hand for now, Voidus was more interested in retracing the Investiture signals to discover what exactly had happened.

Which does beg the question of how hard it would be to awaken a Hemalurgic spike, possibly more difficult due to the Investitures clashing (Though Hemalurgic spikes are pretty low in terms of Investiture) but it could actually be easier since the spike contains a portion of Spirit-web it's closer to a human than regular metal is so it could be significantly easier to Awaken.

TBH for me that was book 1, she was always annoying, she just got more entitled as the series went on.

This is somewhat what I wanted to do with Neverthere, only with more dinosaurs, parades, parties and murder.

Firstly because the solid form is the most rigid, second we know that there is more to Lerasium than just creating Mistborn, it may just require a trick, thirdly if we're talking Preservations Investiture in general we have several WoBs that it can power any of the three metallic arts, one of which is in this quote.

Granted. It is uncontrollable and duplicates everything that you hate or annoys you. I wish for an Atium spike. -
No successful wizarding photos of Backtrack has ever been taken, the second the pictures start moving Backtrack runs out of frame to hide somewhere

Like any true teacher his true fear is a paper with a lack of a bibliography.

Just a side note, when she appears again come morning time Saccharine will probably be requesting the revival of several poisonous animals to top up some of her supplies.

It does say it can be used to fuel any of the powers in here, that may arguably be applied to the liquid form but either way I don't know that we can definitively say it only powers Allomancy. It powers all of the powers, but it doesn't give people powers they don't have, Vin was a Mistborn so we don't know what might have happened had a Misting tried to use the mists they might have only been able to use their metal. I believe that's a matter of density, the Stormlight's just trying to fill up the container it's in but other than during a Highstorm there's only a small amount being dispersed at any one time, so it doesn't evaporate so much as disperse, or at least that's how I viewed it. Breath isn't that scarce, Vin burned through all of the Mists in a remarkably short amount of time and Surgebinders on Roshar need quite a few gems to keep them going, if everyone on Roshar was a Surgebinder it would run out pretty quickly, they already started addressing it at the end of WoR. I think it's pretty comparable, it just seems scarce because everyone can use it, the ratio of supply to demand is smaller but I think that's more to do with the demand than the supply. Great work on the compilation though, good topic

Granted, you are the only one of this type in the world and can neither give nor receive blood transfusions. I wish that this wish were in some way a meta-wish. -
I should clarify that that post was only 20% serious attempt to pawn off more of my millions of Epics, 80% joke Just something a reviewer I enjoy always complains about in shooters so I thought I'd throw it in.

Current plans for Mistborn are two more books set in the Alloy of Law Era with Wax and Wayne, then a trilogy set more or less in the modern day, then finally a space opera trilogy with FTL travel which is somehow possible with Allomancy but we don't quite know how yet but it is supposed to feature a lot of cosmere info so a lot of people are really excited for that Also a second Elantris book and another Warbreaker and Stormlight is set to be a series of 10 but with a gap of unknown length in the middle. So we have lots of books to look forward to.

MV eyed the strange liquid-seeming necklace suspiciously, an Epic offering her something to wear around her neck that said Break that she could 'use in an instant'? Well it didn't seem like it would be anything good but it seemed that she would have no choice unless whe wanted to fight with the entire execution squad. Watching Elsa carefully to make sure that nothing happened she mimicked the ice Epic, jumping slightly as the ink sunk into her skin slightly. "Will that do? Now that you have us collared we're allowed to help you fight off this stupid army?" MV said "Or should we wait for another round of stupid interviews with that Reader Slontze?" Not waiting for an answer she began picking out targets again, felling pigs from the sky, stalling the charging elephants, her eyes darted back and forth across the battlefield. She turned to Elsa as she worked, whispering to her. "I'm sorry for getting you caught up with these people, they seem to take their security very seriously." Distracted though she was with thoughts of her twin, MV did feel sorry for Elsa, she was the only nice person that she'd met today. Well except Bactrack but he didn't really count. And anyway she didn't like him or anything. So why did she keep thinking about him? Shaking her head to rid it off such distracting thoughts she concentrated again on the enemies below.

Hmm... An Inventory, I haven't gotten mine to work properly so I thought it was just bugged for now, could be useful if he's the only one, carry more provisions, ammo, weapons, we could set up a proper base! I wonder how the survival mechanics function? The Adventurer stiffened abruptly as he sensed a presence suddenly flash into existence on his minimap and then disappear just as suddenly. "You can call me the Adventurer, we may have bigger problems though, I just picked something up on my minimap. Looks like I spoke too soon when I said I was the only one who had the transportation down, someone just appeared and disappeared in an instant." The Adventurer scanned his surroundings, the lack of chest-high walls was a bit alarming, almost all shooters had them these days but he supposed the designers wanted to try something different. "So do we run? Or shall we take cover and ambush them if they come back?"

She'll reluctantly accept it as a necessity, but I'll get a post up with her reaction today.

If it's powering the bodies own mechanisms that's even more demanding, people need to take in way more chemical energy than say a car does to move the same distance. Muscles don't intrinsically have energy it's not as simple as simply animating them, directly applying the energy required as kinetic energy would be far more efficient than fueling an entire body.
