  1. There are perhaps a few million Epics around the world in total, I think the English language is more than sufficient for naming that many I've managed a good few hundred by myself for the RP on the forums, and some are bound to repeat since they don't necessarily look up all other Epics names.
  2. Well at the moment it's less than secret since she's just with the MEE at their HQ but that's protected by around a hundred Epics. Once she moves back to her secret hideout she'd be very surprised and annoyed and either try to murder them instantly or try to befriend them with bribes of information about Lightwards she gathered while spying on him. (She knows that he sings 'I feel pretty' in the shower. Or she may have just thought that would be hillarious. Either way she's telling them it happened )
  3. While a downside for us as you may have noticed from her dinosaur joyride she's not particularly concerned about the lives of innocents, she'd probably just start bargaining with him to shut up for an hour if he murdered someone she found offensive because they wore jeans in july or something.
  4. Prepare for endless singing and narration of their lives from an irritating capricious functional immortal. "And then Electro went to talk to Corpsemaker, ever since he'd entered the city his heart had throbbed painfully in his chest whenever the great Epics name had been mentioned, at his first sight of those eyes so powerful, he'd known that there would never be another for Electro. Corpsemaker had captured his heart now and forever."
  5. Impact threw the last tree in the clearing she'd landed in at the army, the exhilaration of using her powers so freely was intoxicating, she'd always scrimped and held back before to avoid drawing attention. But why? Why should I fear those other Epics, look at what I can do now! She told herself. You can fly, you basically have super strength and you're invulnerable, look at what Steelheart has done and he only has a few more powers than you Allison. No, not Allison anymore, Impact. I left that stupid name behind me. She felt a brief pang of concern for her sister but quickly suppressed it, MV had only ever held her back and anyway she'd be fine on her own, she had friends in the city now after all. Impact was finally free to live her own life, not one spent looking after her twin but one looking after herself. With glee she leapt back into the air, unused to using her powers on her own body like this it took some effort but she managed it, she was flying now like she'd always dreamed of. She glided back into the city, stopping just ahead of the armies vanguard of panda soldiers. A grim smile crept onto her face as she confronted them, here she was, to all appearances a simple teenage girl and yet she knew she could attack this entire army and win. She touched a nearby car, hurling it into the front ranks before flying after it, fists slamming into pandas and imbuing them with vast amounts of momentum she sent them hurling into the armies ranks. This is what it's supposed to be like to be an Epic, unable to be stopped by any of these stupid creatures, going where I want and doing what I want and not letting any of these dumb things stand in my way! She lost track of time as she slowly destroyed the ranks of animals, she'd killed dozens of the creatures and more kept coming, a growing rage was growing within her as this army refused to be defeated. Well she wouldn't stop until they were all dead! A shockwave hit the pandas and several collapsed instantly from what seemed to be broken bones. Impact turned to see what or who had interrupted her, ready to kill humans too if they got in her way and noticed a group of people nearby watching her carefully. "Hello there. My name is Frequency. You don't appear to be with the city guard. Would I be correct in that assumption?" One of them asked. Impact tried to surreptitiously move her foot under a nearby panda, ready to send it flying at the group if they did anything "No I'm not, those Slontzes threatened to kill me far too many times for my liking so if you're with them you can just go back and tell whatever Slontze you work for that Impact is not working for them and if one more guard threatens me in any way then I'll start throwing buildings at them." She nudged the panda with her foot, sending a surge of power into it and sending it flying into a nearby wall, breaking through the brick and mortar and almost certainly breaking every bone in the Pandas body that wasn't already broken. "Capiche?" She threatened, eyeing the group with distaste.
  6. You could do a WHOOC scene with him?
  7. I fluctuate between the high hundreds and a thousand depending on how much I practice but I've been memorizing since I was 10
  8. While certainly powerful I don't know that Steelheart is all that destructive comparatively. Nightwielder would easily be capable of more raw damage if he wasn't also blacking out the entire sky for instance, fire Epics like Firefight are supposedly so common that there's a standard profile and they could at least match Steelhearts energy bolts. His rending certainly would have been reported on but I don't know that everyone would have immediately known him and made him a household name, his PI seems to be the reason he was most feared in that it was just completely undefeatable without his weakness.
  9. Well luckily I have just killed three of my Epics so there's room on my list for these three Chainfruit: Primary: Fruit-chaining- When Chainfruit throws a piece of fruit at another piece of fruit the momentum will be doubled in transfer resulting in the second fruit travelling even faster, after a few chains of this fruit-fruit interaction the fruits are breaking the sound barrier. However he's still pretty embarrassed that his power is essentially just having a food fight. Secondary: Fruit manifestation- He can cause any tree to become a fruit tree and instantly bear fruit to top up his supplies and has a bonsai tree garden at his home which he uses to obtain most of his supplies. Well if she was concentrating enough Neverthere might recognize them as having been from the Dominion since she's been spying on them a bit but more likely she'd just be enjoying herself too much to notice about his latest victims so you go first, although take note that Neverthere dispenses a very irritating and unavoidable source of revenge to those who kill her dinosaur boyfriends.
  10. I'm jealous of Seonids classes, I wish I could study everything but unfortunately I had to decide between a maths/physics focus or a chem/bio Then I cheated and snuck in some programming anyway because I love it
  11. Happy Pi day everyone, while it's celebrated on March the 14th every year this is year is the once in a century pi day, since the date is 3-14-15 at 9:26 the date will represent Pi to the 7th decimal. So I thought I'd take this opportunity to ask if anyone else is a dedicated memorizer of pi (Or a Piphilologist)?
  12. Speaking of that scene, I haven't heard from Lightsworn in a while, does anyone know if he's still around?
  13. Comp sci, Programming and a Bio course here.
  14. I second (Fourth?) this motion, much as I also love getting new tidbits on the relationship between Lifts Shardfork and a drunken Seon I do also love the Reckoknerverse and having some more WoB to flesh it out the way we have the cosmere would be awesome.
  15. Iconoclast is definitely interesting, although I'm not sure if the Dalles could handle him and the Panda at the same time since it seems like they both rely on army tactics and also the Dalles is pretty pro-Vanilla so they wouldn't handle having to murder their turned civilians very well, which would be awesome to write because of the whole morality of it and it would make for some awesome scenes but I don't know that the Dalles could handle it very well. Then again the whole point is to destroy Oregon so maybe that's for the best
  16. I mean I don't think it'll particularly impact anything one way or another, none of the characters would age significantly anyway, I mean at the ratio of game days: real days we have atm we'll all be like 80 before any of the characters show signs of aging
  17. He's also a Necromancer so I think not aging could fall under the banner of 'all evidence of Lightwards was destroyed along with Oregon', although I do think we should perhaps think about changing it for some other characters since from memory we have a few that don't age.
  18. I would travel to before Brandon was published and ask him to tell me about his plans for the cosmere.
  19. It's hard to say for sure but I believe the current plan is for a SA book every other year, Elantris and Warbreaker sequels after the fifth SA (So roughly 2020), Dragonsteel after all of the SA is done (At least a 2030 wait ), the second Mistborn trilogy will be sometime after the Elantris sequel but I don't know specifically how soon after and I think Calamity, the third book in the Reckoners series will be sometime earlyish 2016.
  20. I'm almost certain that it's mentioned in book that it cuts through Chasmfiend exoskeletons.
  21. What do you mean the first Dumbledore? There was only one Dumbledore. Too bad they stopped making the movies after the second one. To be fair, with child actors it's hard to know how they'll grow in future movies, so either they'd have to recast main characters all the time or just take their chances.
  22. If I'm honest I'm relatively sure that Brandon just didn't have enough time to think it through on that first quote since he seemed to be thinking as he was answering while the second seems more like him recalling a well-researched piece of metaphysics he thought through. The reason that you need to be the one who stored the feruchemical charge to burn it is logically that feruchemists can only access their own charges, not anyone else's. But Hemalurgy can be used on anyone, that's kind of the whole point so I really don't know how the first quote could work. But then maybe it has to do with some piece of Cosmeric metaphysics we are as yet unaware of.
  23. A female Terris worldhopper? Interesting...
