Yeah that's why she probably couldn't do it right now, it involves a higher level trick that she hasn't mastered where she constantly shifts momentum between a few objects but it all depends on how exactly her reference frames work which I still haven't figured out yet since pretty much any way I think of it is broken in some way.

Technically she could fly if she leeched some momentum off of Edgerunner but she'd be unlikely to realize that so she'll probably hitch a ride with Elsa or Lucy.

Well there's not really enough Atium to become a Savant, it burns too quickly. But if you could I believe you'd just Ascend in all likelihood and become Ruin. On Savanthood in general I believe we also know that Pewter savants are in particular danger since the length of time they have to flare pewter leaves them with one hell of a pewter drag afterwards. Steel and Iron savants could potentially gain Inquisitor-sight and be able to detect tiny amounts of metals. Seekers often become savants by accident with little known side effects.

A smile escaped Lucy's grim facade and crept onto her face at Emma's suggestion, Reader was universally despised by almost the entirety of the Dalles, kept around only because of how useful his abilities were in determining how dangerous new Epics were likely to be. But due to the potential danger he posed if he was captured he was also placed in lockdown if the Dalles was threatened, guarding him during this period was said to be both the best and worst duty in the Dalles, in exchange for knowing with near certainty that he would reveal every embarassing secret you'd ever had at the nearest opportunity you got the chance to boss Reader around. "Well..." Lucy mused, pretending to be thinking over the offer while really just searching for an excuse. "I suppose we do need to verify MVs story and get Elsa cleared by Autumn right? So I suppose a trip to Reader makes sense. Besides their army seems to be retreating for now anyway" She watched the animal army making a steady retreat under the onslaught of the various guardsman and Epics of the Dalles. "Blondey, you got any idea where Autumn and Reader are?" Lucy asked. The blonde momentum Epic glared at her for a moment, hand rising subtly to her neck before she calmed herself. Well looks like that idea might be worth investigating. Still I did go a bit overboard, she did say she'd been cleared by Autumn. "I don't know about the Slontze but Autumn glass got abducted by some shiny teleporter and they were going to head to the clinic I think?" MV replied, scowl still present but held in check for now. "Well shall we check in with her first Emma?" Lucy asked with a smile as she directed her griffin towards Game's clinic "I'd hate to deprive Autumn the opportunity of a visit to Reader while he's under lockdown."

For some reason even though it's an illusion and it's supposed to be super good-looking I always picture Altermind as having a massive wart on his jaw. Good luck getting that image out of your mind.

I may switch viewpoints between a few different Zericians since Irina is relatively unimportant to the tribe as a whole for now but she's the current taskmistress over the slaves so I thought she'd be a good character for interactions with Chyra.

Irina stretched as she got out of bed, the scent of fresh chopped herbs immediately filling her nose. She quickly got dressed before double checking the various pouches in her gown for their supplies and topped a few up from the larger pouches, jars and vials stored around her hut. At only 30 years of age she was one of the younger Zericians since this was also her first incarnation. She'd always wondered how it must feel to awaken into your second life in a completely different body, did they remember how death felt? She started her daily rounds, checking the slaves for any infections that could hinder their working and setting a few broken bones. The other Zericians working beside her found the work degrading and treated the slaves with thinly veiled contempt for the most part but Irina always considered the work to be just another way of worshiping Zerix. After having checked the slaves for injuries she set them to gathering some herbs for the Zericians, giving them all a description of what they'd be looking for before setting out with them. The Pathonian slaves couldn't be trusted to work alone, they'd just try and escape and Irina shuddered to think what could happen if they ever regained their tribes former might. She kept a careful eye over her charges as they went about their gathering duties, they did seem tamed now and it had been many years since the Zericians had attacked the Pathonian homeland and enslaved their entire tribe but if there was anything that Irina had learned in her years of studying the mysteries of medicine it was that the most resilient organ of the human body was the heart. The Pathonians had much to be angry about, and however well that anger had been suppressed over the years there was no telling when it would come raging out again.

It was one a week not one a day and given how quickly Atium burns it doesn't seem unreasonable. Plus the pits wouldn't have been immediately operational, it would have taken a considerable length of time to stabilize his rule and then set the pits up, putting too high a priority on them would have drawn attention.

Hellfire? Drat now I have to rename one of my canon-fodder Epics On TLR I think the final empire was so big that there'd be quite a few different complexions plus he changed the biology of pretty much everyone on the planet when he Ascended so it wouldn't be hard for him to change his appearance too.
