  1. Although without Funtimes there to turn the building into a bouncy castle it's not as fun as the Portland great character meetup
  2. Voidus briefly considered correcting Elsa but then realized it was for the best and hid all of his Birthday spikes. Only he would be allowed to celebrate multiple birthdays per year.
  3. I PM'd him a while ago and he said he was fine with someone taking over his character, I'll try to get a post up soonish
  4. Impact considered the offer carefully, MV was the rash one who always jumped into things. Impact had always preferred being cautious in her approach. But the energy she felt at using her abilities so liberally on the army that had caused her inconvenience compelled her to act, not to think. She found herself rushing to a decision far faster than was usual. "Sure, I'll join up with you guys for now." She said, watching the disturbing eyes of the group of men. Well she was used to it by now, they weren't as bad as that Nighthound guy anyway. And as powerful as she felt that moment she nearly considered travelling back to Portland just to hit that guy for being such a creep. Stay focused, they're just guys, ignore it and soon you won't have to worry about gross guys hitting on you all the time. Megan was the one who enjoyed the attention anyways you can finally live your own life, have a city of your own. "Word of warning though, first guy to get handsy loses the hand." She said sternly, heading away from the panda corpses towards the group of Epics. "I'm Impact. As you may have noticed I like breaking things, hurting people who annoy me and flying. I don't like fuzzy animals, flirty guys or Slontzes who threaten me when they're just stupid telepaths with no actual powers. So you have a plan?" She stopped several feet away from the lead Epic and his cane, posing with hand on hip as she looked sternly at the Epics. If they turned out to be strong then she'd best at least be somewhat polite, if they weren't, well she could always use more things to throw at those dumb animals.
  5. No it's probably for the better, I don't like to let my ideas for the future influence what happens in the RP that much it's just a general idea but if characters react a certain way that would interfere I'd rather change my plan than change the characters. Emma's continued appealing to her sense of humour which was rather impish in the past, she's adopted a pretty somber persona lately but she's still pretty easy to get to go along with pranking Reader. It may change how I'd planned for the corruption to hit her, I'll just see how events unfold and try to get her personality right.
  6. I would like to say that her interactions with the other three will likely significantly change Scribblers planned character arc. Which is good because her arc was kind of depressing.
  7. I demand this be WHOOCed immediately
  8. The opposite, if he wears a really tight belt made of solid steel he'd be safe, anything elastic and he's: ed
  9. Belts are pretty flexible, with no friction unless it hits a plane perpendicular to the force (gravity) it should still slip down but yeah it does depend on how elastic it is.
  10. You can suggest as many as you want on the Epics ideas doc. Should do, I can't think of any other forces at play that would hold them up.
  11. It would run around tearing the hearts out of Epics.
  12. Well you already received some suggestions but some more: Antiflame: Produces purple flames with temporal restorative powers, capable of reversing the time of any non-living thing they touch. BurnHeart: Capable of manifesting empathic flames in addition to a more normal variety, these flames can force certain emotional states on his victim as he burns them as well as revealing insight into their minds. Firewall: Can increase the heat within a prescribed plane to extraordinarily high levels, enough to instantly vaporize most materials. Tripmine: Can mentally cause any object he has touched to explode. Jetpack: Can shoot blasts of fire from both hands which provides enough thrust to lift his body. (Fire version of the Spyril) Empath: Empathic manifestation, can cause peoples emotions to manifest physically, can either use the properties of these manifestations to his advantage (Eg. Manifestations of pain tend to attack their sufferer, while manifestations of rage tend to attack others) Or destroy the manifestation to prevent the person from feeling that emotion. Geode: Terrakinetic abilities, capable of fracturing and manipulating stone. Also possesses Terra-projection capabilities. He can project his consciousness within a 1-mile radius where nearby dirt will form into an approximation of his body. Severance: Force field Epic, capable of creating and manipulating force-fields, can be used either offensively or defensively. While he has an incredible degree of control over his force fields they’re also very limited in range, he cannot produce or manipulate a forcefield to exist more than 5 metres away from his body.
  13. I'm pretty sure he'd at least be close, I don't recall Brandon answering about him one way or another so it's definitely possible that he could be considered a Sliver.
  14. Loved the first post Comatose. This was amazing. I'm feeling oddly compelled to create a ninja Epic but not finding much inspiration, a name might help though. Any ideas?
  15. Certainly after the Well, but I don't know if she really used the mists enough to technically become a Splinter when she fought TLR.
  16. Brilliant books about being snarky and awesome need not obey the laws of causality.
  17. Did I mention that Scribbler recently received a book called 'how to be snarky to Epics' by Sam and Revolution?
  18. Will he survive meeting ShinySparkle after he cracks wise at her date? Let's hope not.
  19. I was wondering how she'd mimic fingerprints without going around looking very closely at peoples hands I'm definitely fine with the overlap.
  20. No problem, I'd just recommend hiding them if you notice so the pages don't get clogged up with doubles. Or if you're on a phone I'm sure Twi or a mod can clean it up when they're on.
  21. I was going to suggest that too but you'd definitely need to ramp his power up a bit, if/when I introduce Bioterror to Astoria he'd be able to wipe him out pretty easily, as could Bloody Mary who's Edge's character since they can both directly manipulate non-Epics into pretty instant death. Maybe add a tertiary? Also your posts keep getting double posted for some reason
  22. Ah, just to clarify something then when you said 'shapeshifter' I thought you were thinking more something like Knox who can turn completely into a few specific things rather than a fleshwarper like say in the game Prototype which is what I think you're saying, so just to say quickly that one of my planned characters for Astoria is something similar in being able to change their body but he can't do things like animals at all and he can't change into metal he can just move his own biomass around a bit to turn his arms into swords of bone and stuff like that.
  23. The first post in the Epics of Oregon thread has a list of most of the main characters and their factions, it's still a work in progress but probably a good place to start. We did do a story summary at some point too but I don't know how out of date that is and I think it was only for Portland. I don't think there are any shapeshifters in game at the moment so that shouldn't double up with anything.
  24. Darn you Edgerunner! Lucy keeps trying to spiral into melancholy then you have to bring up pranking Reader, which there is no way she could refuse.
