  1. Who would be the Youngster who says "I like shorts! They're comfortable and easy to wear!" though? That is the real question
  2. I thought this WoB might be of interest here.
  3. Well Nathan would be an Abra, just teleports away whenever he's in trouble, what would Sam and Revolution be? I somehow didn't even think about this, Funtimes has harnessed the awesome power of Metronome, tremble in fear from his might!
  4. She was accused of winning all of her battles because people were too distracted by the glitter that pervaded her gym, her Clefable used Metronome to turn her accusers clothes pink.
  5. Reader could be blue, he's already got all the snarky comments down and I could definitely see him saying 'smell ya later' Backtrack would be a bug-catcher with a metapod that only knows 'harden'
  6. I may do an Adventurer side-story in the WHOOC thread set in the Pokemon universe where he plays as Red.
  7. I think you're taking this argument a bit personally Oudeius, it's why I deleted my last post. People aren't attacking you or deliberately setting up strawman arguments, they're just doing their best to understand your points much like you were doing your best to understand mine, it's not your fault if you or they misunderstood. As I already mentioned, people are capable of storing calories, you won't starve to death after a week, even without Steel though a healthy fit person could make that journey in about half the time by running instead of walking. So if you stretched what one day of food between three days would you starve? No, you might be tired and hungry by the end of it but it's hardly physics-defying.
  8. Voidus dispatched the last of the Parshendi with a coin, bullets would have been more efficient but he liked to observe the traditions of those from whom he had taken his powers where possible. The other Parshendi had retreated, Queen Elsa had taken Brightness Random, Winter and the others somewhere, back to the palace presumably. Deciding not to risk using Tia again this close to whatever was warping the Investiture around Newcago, Voidus opted to use coins to Steelpush his way back to the city and Elsa's palace. He followed the weak Bronze pulses from Winter, sorting through the myriad other pulses of unknown origin, until he found her in an infirmary, being attended too. "Does anyone know what's happened to her?" Voidus asked Elsa. "Something's interfering with Investiture all over this place but no one else's spikes have done anything like this so far."
  9. Explicitly not Fortuity but yeah they traded him some DNA and it didn't seem as though it were an unnecessarily large amount. On Bloody Mary, I can buy her being aware of most of the major action in the city but i don't know about the stealthy actions of one woman. She'd have to be listening in at the exact right place at the exact right time and it just doesn't seem particularly probable given that she has an entire city to monitor for threats. Theoretically there's the risk of detection but it's the same kind of thing as Regalia, she can't be watching everywhere all the time.
  10. Backtrack's secondary power of coming up with foreshadowing nicknames for people was known to only a few Oregonians.
  11. Current list of reasons: Shade of Lightwards skin while ascending to the MoNA. Colour of hat. Use of Prehistoric raptor-power.
  12. How did you think the Carlisles were going to power their lab in the MoNA?
  13. Neverthere's bonbons may include slabs of bloody meat to attract nearby dinosaurs into eating the owners of said bonbons.
  14. They may have different ideas of what 'serving' entails Hint: Neverthere's version involves a parade and many, many bonbons.
  15. That is an excellent way to ensure that he has an irritating girl who can't be killed following him forever and breaking into song every time he tries to talk. No one kills her Numnums and gets away with it
  16. From the files of David Charleston quote-worthy?
  17. Neverthere is only ever capable of helping people by accident and with the aid of resurrected dinosaurs.
  18. Did someone say dinosaur attack?
  19. The Adventurer smiled. Cool, another player character. Now I have to make the decision though, do I try and co-op this thing or run it solo? The Adventurer was not usually fond of co-operative game-play, his teammates had always dragged him down in the past, he remembered when he'd first started playing the game of the red-star. His brother had been holding him back, trying to get him to just do boring gameplay elements. In the end he'd had to stab him just so he could get away, he hoped that his brother re-spawned somewhere with others who actually liked that sort of thing. OP enemies though? Well I haven't found any so far, that guy went down in one shot. Must have scaled levels where the civilian NPCs suck but the enemies are really hard. "Really? I haven't found anyone too hard so far, well except for you but then I was never really into PKing." The Adventurer said, warily eyeing the other player. He'd played enough survival games to know that when people started talking all nice was usually about 5 seconds before they shot you in the back and stole your stuff.
  20. Sounds good to me. The Adventurer's is pretty easy to exploit but difficult to guess, since he believes his reality isn't real he doesn't really fear his weakness that much, there may be some clues but you'd have to be watching him pretty carefully. Bioterror's would probably be pretty well known but it's difficult to exploit. Once he arrives in Astoria I might even just tell people what it is.
  21. Yeah I did think that when you said you wanted Pyrelord since technically he has a PI, but as I said I didn't put much thought into him so I don't mind if he gets a powerset change.
  22. Astoria has a much higher power level, most Epics there have a PI of some kind. If you wanted to go with a PI I'd recomend Astoria, the Epics in the Dalles are a bit more vulnerable.
  23. Definitely, looks great Sounds like a great character, any ideas which thread she'll be joining?
  24. Voidus finished the Aon, specifying the targets and placed his hand at its centre to activate it. A bright flash of light and he stood with Brightness Random in a swamp. "damnation. Well, this is what I meant by hopefully, some serious Shardic intervention around Newcago has caused things to go a bit.... off. It's ok, this one should work, and at least we didn't end up in a wall this time. I tell you, trying to get out of a wall is really difficult when you've forgotten all your pewter." He finished off a second Aon Tia, this one adjusted for the interference and they both appeared amid the warring Parshendi and forces of Newcago. A stray blast of ice destroyed half of Voidus' face, he grimaced as muscles slowly re-knit themselves. He pulled out a paper bag from one pocket and handed it to Brightness Random. "Don't tell anyone else from the Alley, it's got a connection to our unspiked stockpiles of cookies, should automatcally refill for around a year. Just uh... don't tell anyone I accidentally landed us in a swamp, it's bad for the reputation you know?"
