Not sure what it's from to be honest, I certainly need to duck and bend a lot more than most people so that comes into it but I think there's just some inherent problems with being that tall, the human body is not exactly the best design for walking upright as it is, add an extra foot of spine on top of it and I'm sure there's just some unnecessary stress going on in some places. -
I don't think so, given that a half lashing upwards gives weightlessness. My take on it is that you can add to the spiritual gravitation bond with your own Investiture, hence being able to both redirect the bond and strengthen it but you can't remove the bond that's already there which is why a half lashing just redirects half of the gravity and leaves the other half rather than turning the usual .8 G's of Roshar into .4 if that makes sense?

My experience is it comes with a lot more back-pain than usefulness but being able to not need a ladder is pretty nice I suppose -
Well apparently not as much lashback as I'd thought I suppose I'm used to anytime a man says something about those particular types of quote-unquote 'feminists' being promptly treated to a seven hour lecture about how I gave up my right to talk about women's rights the day I decided to accept that 'y' chromosome.

This statement may cause some lashback but I'd just like to go on record and say that people like that teacher are the kinds of people who give feminism a bad name. Feminism isn't about proving that you're better than the patriarchy or whatever it's about saying that hey, we're all humans, whether you've got two x's or an x and a y we all breathe the same air and eat the same food (Alethi aside) so one half of the population shouldn't be told that all they're good for is child-rearing, that said if that half wants to raise a child then all power to them, but equally if the other half wants to then they should be able to as well.

Well in the case of waiting til their healing runs out a competent compounder of gold could probably hold off for a good few years if they had a decent supply of gold, TLR managed on relatively little atium for nearly a millenium after all and Marsh's bag is supposed to be big enough to last him for a good long while too, health is probably needed in greater quantities than Marsh at least would initially need but even so I don't think it's exactly a speedy solution to the problem.

I'm just happy we have active mods who clean up shop every now and then, I'm not sure how feasible some of these suggestions are and some like requiring validation from existing members while effective might also make the site seem a bit scarier and exclusive to prospective new sharders -
