Well Portland has Funtimes, Sam and Revolution, Voidgaze and Big Al and a bunch of other amusing/terrifying characters and so remains my favourite thread, but the others are certainly getting their own collection of awesome characters XD

Metronome? It's not specifically canon that he is or isn't an Epic or even that he's in Salem, I threw in a vague mention to him in one post but it could easily be considered a rumor. Metronome is far too awesome to ever have a canonical appearance

I was going to suggest that he constantly change his name so that any time he snaps and does cause violence it's not pinned to him in the future.

I think Edge's issue was how you would differentiate hatred from 'deeply rooted' hatred, they're on a scale and so the exact boundary is a little unclear whereas considering someone your greatest enemy is a clearcut situation. Not trying to push my idea onto your character but just explaining my reasoning a bit more. Also because I forgot to mention it, love the character!

It shows that if Prof can then Matthew can too.

Healing does all the same things, plus we've already seen gradations of invulnerability, some just have really thick skin whereas Steelheart had full on immutability, he couldn't be damaged in any way.

I don't remember him doing that either, but even if he can with healing it doesn't mean he can with the strength and if he can with both then I'd guess that all Epics can if they want to.

He never gifted strength to anyone IIRC, David only realized he had it in Firefight.

Well I missed the coming of a new thread so now I can't quote the last thread To try to remember the posts I wanted to reply to, Salem would definitely be a good place for a Vanilla who thought he was an Epic, Soulcasters primary goal is to find amusement wherever he can and as was mentioned Salem does have a psychiatric hospital so it's certainly plausible. He might even be allowed into the Arena sometimes and bestowed with invisibility to foster his beliefs further. On the weakness discussion I think that in terms of being an introvert the thing that would make the most sense is being singled out so perhaps his weakness could be that he can be harmed by anyone who considers him to be their biggest enemy. This would address most of the problems I think, it means people would have to know him personally and have a relatively good reason to hate him that much, it would also mean he'd have to be less careful around Epics (Who already have a lot of enemies) and more placating towards Vanillas, perhaps even going so far as to channel his corruption into a hatred of Epics specifically, protecting Vanillas to earn their trust. On the subject of corruption I don't know that passive abilities do trigger it, Prof has two (Healing and strength) and even when he's gifted the healing he'd still have to deal with the corruption from the super strength.

That was PP's original profile though it turned out he actually was an Epic (A decision I kind of regret because it was fun to write) and I think someone else brought it up at some point but I don't remember who/if anything was done with it.

Just find two people who suggest that Reckoners is cosmere, that's close enough.

I object to any implied similarities between Megamind and Lucentia.

As a dedicated fangirl with a very resourceful powerset Scribbler's just doing her best to promote him

Depends if they Allomancer was also an Awakener I'd guess.

The trick is just to find other socially awkward/hyper-aware people then you can all be awkward together -
When Calamity rises I shall ensure that all stores stock appropriate hatwear.

Did they have any purple bowler hats I could have?

I think if we're issuing PSA's we really need to mention Nighthound in there somewhere.

Well he came back as PP the morally corrupt, then PP the completely nuts and now the PP of currently unknown character because he went to bed several months ago and still hasn't woken up

Welcome to the forums! Stormlight is definitely some of Brandons best writing so if you do break that promise you've certainly got something to enjoy but if you've got the whole WoT to read you'll probably be a bit swamped for reading material Would you care for a welcome-to-the-forums-cookie?

Well the content is what's there to differentiate them, the covers are just to look pretty and I guess I find a shelf of books all with similar spines and coverart to look nicer even if some of the actual art looks better on the US editions.

That's one interpretation, the other is that by facing his fear before actually receiving the power he just didn't receive it. Which given that as of the opening of Calamity he still hasn't used any powers makes a bit more sense, plus again the whole getting gifted to thing.

PP would be the wondering wizard who disappears halfway through the second act and still has yet to be seen again
