  1. Can you only get these from Brandon's store signed, or are they available elsewhere?
  2. I've not read Stormlight myself so I can't say what of his other books may be like Stormlight, but I recommend Elantris.

I have little doubt. Enjoyed the first book immensely. It just took me forever because my time to read has been severely limited of late.

I have no doubt, I just tend to get impatient when I start a series that it's going to take a while for the author to finish. I know Brandon writes fast, but Stormlight is going to be a lot of books. And yes, I've definitely got no lack of reading material to hold me over until I do inevitably start Stormlight. Who wouldn't want a cookie? Cookies are good.
  5. When WoR was released in paperback I worked at a Barnes & Noble, and I promise you it doesn't exist.
  6. There are two types of paperbacks. Trade paperback which is almost the same size as a hardback, and mass market paperback which is small. Trade paperbacks will generally be somewhere around $15-$20, whereas mass market paperbacks will be around $8-$9.
  7. I knew that for the most part, and I am excited about the re-release of Elantris, which I'm hoping to get in hard cover. I just thought it was odd that one book in the series would have a trade paperback release but not the other, but if you're saying it didn't come out until later then that explains it. Thanks.
  8. Just a quick question if anybody happens to know the answer: Why wasn't Words of Radiance released in trade paperback in the U.S.? I have The Way of Kings in trade paperback, and I hate mass market paperback so I just bought Words of Radiance on my Kindle.
  9. My name is Kevin. Got into Sanderson last year when I read Mistborn and haven't really looked back. I've read just about everything of his, except for Alcatraz and Stormlight. I'm trying to put off Stormlight until there's at least another one out. I have The Way of Kings in trade paperback and Words of Radiance on my kindle so I probably won't be able to wait, but I'm going to try. I've also not read his books in The Wheel of Time series, having only read the first book in the series just recently. I recently got a signed edition of The Alloy of Law which I'm reading now.
