1. Nope you got that right, something weird seems to be going on there but we don't know what, I think someone popularized the fanon term 'howlers' for them but Brandon said he just calls them 'Hemalurgic chimeras'. 2. Brandon's said that Harmony is the only Shard on Scadrial at the moment so it's not someone who's been lurking there, most likely a Shard from elsewhere in the cosmere sending agents to do... something. Top suspects at the moment are Odium and Autonomy (Bavadin) since Brandon said that we know the Shard that made the metal.

Allomancy speculation mostly comes from some events in Words of Radiance where he seemed to be emotionally manipulating people (Ie. Soothing and Rioting), we do have a WoB that he originally wanted the Lerasium to gain Allomancy but its still unknown whether or not he used it for that. As another aside if most Mistborn were to burn Lerasium it would just make them stronger, you need to do something else to get any other effects, though we have no idea what or why.

Salems been quiet for a while so I'd be happy for Morpheus to make his way there, either as a participant in the Arena or to just make mischief in the city. On another note, MrMistborn made another thread elsewhere about potentially having a weekly update for the 17thShard about any noteworthy events going on in the forums. Now obviously we don't have the ability to organize something like that but one idea he mentioned was having a weekly update on what important events have happened in RPs which is something we can certainly make another thread for and I thought it would be a good idea for anyone who gets super behind and potentially for starting to keep a running log of events so newer players don't get too intimidated. So what does everyone think?

Allomantic iron is indisputably the best. I could just set up a bunch of metal handles attached to walls then just sit in a wheely chair and never have to move again.

I don't think I've explored it very thoroughly, I spend most of my time in Alley *Series of screeches and the wails of forever damned souls*, they have the best taco sauce there.

4 was just a step too much for me so unless I see some amazing reviews I'm probably not likely to get it. Look forward to seeing what others think though, I trust Sharder reviews above other peoples.

Strangely enough yes, though I didn't have them as redeemed, it's a teleporter who has an infinite range but only remains in the desired location long enough to perform one simple action (ie. Hug someone, shoot Nighthound, yell 'Action Guy is the best!') and then he ports back. I was about to say you should use lineBreak() then remembered that's just something I put in all my Java scripts and this site is not one of those 1) Yes. 2)

You should take a look at Alley 189 sometime, it only goes from A to purple. 17th Shard Alleys are weird.

On why Hoid would want it, I'd presume it has some Shardic connection, either containing the physical essence of Devotion or Dominion or else being powered by a splinter like Fabrials. Either would be of potential interest to Hoid who has amassed quite a bit of Shardic Investiture. -

Other than canonicity not really, occasionally someone might express concern over an aspect of backstory (For instance we've had some players who wanted to have a history with the Knighthawk Foundry but since we know almost nothing about them that seemed like a bad idea) but other than that feel free to do whatever. We have creeptastic characters who shouldn't be allowed to live, adorable couples who we just wish could live in piece and also Metronome, keeper of the time and the greatest Epic ever (Or so he'd say), we're open to pretty much anything. Edge and I do most of the critiquing on powersets too so you picked a good time for a pitch, although it's best to get some final approval from Twi (Our GM) and whoever owns the city you'd like to be in.

Welcome to our special little brand of crazy, if you think the ponies are bad now you should have seen us a few months ago, pretty much all of us had them as our display picture. As for what started it we have a few MLP fans among the earliest players who have access to a program for custom designing ponies so eventually all of our characters got a ponified version.

I guess if you mixed in a mimic octopus it could shapeshift, plus they're pretty smart so it might get something resembling sentience.

On compound tapping it one possibility is to suddenly wake you up, tap all four hours at once and you'll feel like you just had four hours of sleep, tap it over four hours and you'll slowly get less and less tired but not all at once. Now as to what happens if you suddenly tap 100 hours worth I'm not sure.

Yeah that's basically my point of view too. True he knows Miles but there's no particular reason Miles would have explained exactly how his power worked yet Wax still knows exactly how it works, knows the name for it (Which suggests it's publicly known by enough people to get a name) and at least knows the legend that TLR used it. But yes I suppose he could have gone to college, I don't remember anything specifically confirming or denying that one way or another.

Or a turritopsis nutriculas ability to revert to a younger form when it gets old. Combine the two with perhaps a healing factor from an axolotl and you have an immortal acid-spitting rhino.
