    Fadran's voice drifts on the winds and in a single smooth motion I turn. My steps are filled with a spirit of urgency and in moments I am back where I started. "What is it Fadran?" My voice remains calm despite the urgent energy within.

Middlefest comes and a tree rises up sculpted by Shallan standing beside Adolin her beloved bedecked in armor. Siri in colors glowing and swirling with Endowment's own power spinning. Windspren singing with Sylpharena in tow. Cryptics abounding and Inkspren who are in the know. Nighblood attuning a Rhythm and spreading songs with glee. Wit on the sidelines his flute spreading bright lord's songs for one and all.

    I turn and exit the tent. With purpose I stride through the camp and find Major General Kailer. "Newly minted Major General." I give a polite bow. "I need to requisition your most creative soldiers for an important mission." @Ookla the Grammatical @00kla

    @Ookla the Channelknight "Fadran, I apologize." I do an approximation of rubbing my temples "I allowed myself to be consumed by the urgency of the situation at hand. We cannot waste any time. If they try to leave that castle we will need to slow them down. We must see whether there are any soldiers who can help Chrysler."

    Angry thunder roars as a drummer boy on the field of battle. It rattles and shouts in such rage as to reach down into the depths and raise up emotions more powerful than the hatred of a vengeful deity.

    This book was a mixed bag for me. On the one hand there were massive highs a certain oath by Navani comes to mind!! The lows were massively impactful hitting where it hurts. Stormfather is Brandon able to push my buttons!! There were meh moments though that hurt the experience. Save for the last flashback with Eshonai the flashbacks fell flat for me. The lasting integrity arc was also was less than impressive. I like Adolin, but the arc did nothing for me. He was so protected by plot armor that it was disappointing. Some of those twists really got me. Vargodium is one scary concept!!

I step forward and put a hand on his shoulder. Words so ancient that time no longer remembered them spill from my lips.The air stirs and knowledge passes from my mind to Fadran's. I grimace and after a few moments step back. "This is a temporary solution. The impression of knowledge passed into you. It should stir your instinctual mindscape abilities."

    I nod. "Vale, we will need to see about that warding immediately."

    "I'll have to go if only because I can bargain with it. I have the knowledge to get that done. If Chrysler can slow them down we may have a chance. Fadran begin preparing these soldiers as soon as you are able. If we need you I will call. You may need to open a portal to get us out if things get bad."

    A glowing star seems to take up the whole of the skies. It is a shock of color in the darkness that stands as an unforgiving sentinel. Over the whole of the realm does this lone beacon shine. Even the hidden places of this world sparkle as all are drawn from shackles formed not of steel, but of unnatural shadow. Eyes pierce the dark and the rising of other stars seems to be beginning just beyond the horizon.

    The problem is though that Odium's team has access to this power both sides have a weapon which will dramatically altered the course of the war. El killed the pursuer with anti voidlight. Taravangian is the proud owner of a truly terrifying weapon. She is not off the hook yer. She may have to come to terms with what she did. There is still work to be done if she wants to make up for what she did.

    "A reasonable plan. However, we will have to ensure that Wyrn does not get to the fox before we do. The castle will have to be watched immediately. We will have to be ready at a moment's notice."

Unless we stay here forever or an outside army that we bring in stays forever what will happen when we go? Will these people be able to survive?"

    What silliness exists in the shadows? Where can they escape from the Witless wits? Around a crackling fire where more learning is present than all of the libraries in all of the lands. Warmth spreads and songs rise. They spin around and join with wisdom around flames bounded by wisdom.
