  1. Rish watches and waits. I follow behind and bend light around us. The creature rises again. It scratches on the door demanding release. I go cold as I fight to keep it contained.
  2. "I vote for a quick and quiet infiltration. One must be cautious when a battle is being fought on the enemies terms." Rish looks up silently. There is nothing in her eyes. Neither pleasure nor disappointment. The cup remains empty.
  3. Indeed you do. To all I offer my somewhat wisdom should you need it!
  4. The waters freeze. It empties into the void and all is still. "Indeed. We cannot run in half cocked. We need to plan. I have no intention of having my daughter, any of you or myself end up dead." @Condensation @Channelknight Fadran
  5. In a way yes.
  6. A conundrum. It is a number which lacks rationality and a delicious snack or desert. It is fascinating and dreary. It is a paradox.
  7. Following @Channelknight Fadran's lead with Thanksgiving around the corner there is much to show thanks for.

I'll start by acknowledging ever single sharder that I have had the privilege of interacting with over the last three years. Without you I don't know where I would be now. You have been here for the highs and lows. Your thoughtfulness, support, and willingness to listen as I ranted on shows what makes the shard the amazing place that it is. Thank you all!!

      Bearer of all agonies

Thank you too, Nath. You’re awesome!

  8. "We may have such an ability. An army you seek, but what you have received is us. We have the heart of an army. It would be a mistake to let appearances disappoint you." The waters slam down faster than before. They seem to glimmer brighter. Power almost seems to radiate from the molecules as they run for their lives into the pool below. Each droplet appears bound to the magic which infused the icy waters.
  9. The waters rush ever onward. An unknowable force rapidly begins to pull on the power pulling it in at an unnatural speed. It consumes with a ravenous hunger that seem insatiable. I step forward after having quietly observed the scene playing out before me. "How many of us were you expecting? Why would you expect us at all."
  10. The rushing waters push violently against Vapor's power. They present practically no weakness as they fall from eternity. In the midst of the force of nature there seems to be a void through which the waters flow. An emptiness whose essence empowers the magical water to run as they do.
  11. 1) A capable stoneward and tension. The shard of Harmony. A good contractor. 2)Make them scared of you. (Or you can over time acclimate yourself to becoming friendly toward and not afraid of others.) 3)Because we hate the insecurity that comes with being judged. Stop living life based on the judgement of others. 4)I wish I did at times I procrastinate quite a bit. However, as best that I can advise try breaking down the tasks that you must do. The larger the task the more of an urge one might have to put it off.
  12. I turn to Fox quirk an eyebrow and then wordlessly turn back. "We won't all go decide who you will take and we will do our part to get you out if necessary." Circestran is stony faced and silent.
  13. "I will come as well. This king respects trickery. I have more than a few tricks to offer."
  14. When did the ghostbloods get shards? Shardgun? What is this madness?
  15. Fascinating talk on the art!! Also Jeskeri Mysteries anyone?
  16. These words are accepted.
  17. I exit the tent a glow appearing in my eyes. I walk behind Herate and Fadran slowly bending light around us. While we will still be visible now the task of seeing us will be much harder. From within the distortion will be barely noticeable. I ignore the thing within which longs to hunt again. By my will the winds begin to slowly cover over any tracks that we may make.
  18. "I will not. Besides my wisdom will I think be more in demand at this time than my prowess in war." I stand just a bit taller as I speak. My glow becomes a gentle gleam. I turn back to Fadran. "We are agreed."
  19. I could if you wish. Though I will be unable to push myself as hard as I did when we were fighting Winter. I'd likely get myself injured again." I turn to my daughter. "What say you daughter? Shall we go?" As the words fall from my lips I realize that the truth is now known. I have no regrets and stand a bit taller for it. @Scarletfox
  20. I acknowledge Fox with the slightest movement of my head. For her I must be cautious. "Herate, I want you to take care. The first thing that I would have taught this army is to fight with your head. Your enemy may have an advantage, but if you fight smart then you can overcome them." I close my eyes for a moment gathering light into a tight sphere in my right hand. In my left hand I summon a concentrated ingot of heat. I command them to remain as they are until they are so commanded to release in a wave. "I offer you these to this end. A sphere of concentrated light to blind your enemy. I have also gathered an ingot of heat. To you this ingot will be cool. They can be used once against your enemies. Use them wisely." I proffer them to her. Circestran enters upon a wave of quiet. She takes a position to Fox's right arms crossed.
