I just finished rereading The Book Thief. I am a mess. Storms, it's such an incredible, beautiful, heartbreaking book.
Anyways.
If you haven't read it, you need to read it. With most books when I say this I'm half joking, but this is truly one of the most incredible books I've read. Just... Read it. And be prepared to cry. A lot.

I made a short test so you could see how much you are like Kaladin.
Because I am putting off doing homework.

Alright. I just got the mental health awareness month 2021 thread posted!
Also, this is the website I used to make my pfp, if anyone else wants to make one.

Hey guys.
For the last three years I have posted a thing on May first, as May is mental health awareness month. For the month, a ton of people change their profile to something green for awareness, and in the thread for the month we talk about mental health and mental illness.
I'm just wondering what I should talk about in the first post this year. The first year I talked about a few different mental illnesses, and the past two I have just kind of said a few random things.
I'd like to actually talk about something this year, though.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

So, around this time of the year, Kaladin hatched. (Assuming he was six weeks old when I got him which is the usual age budgies are weaned.)
Kaladin is a year old you guys!!!
Here's him when I had only had him for a few weeks.
And here's a picture I took maybe two weeks ago.
He's such a big boy...
And, after putting off getting a second bird for a year, I am going to make the jump and actually do it soon. I'll probably end up doing it after the school year ends, so I can spend the summer bonding with it, and getting it comfortable, and so I don't have to worry about a baby budgie while stressing about my first AP test and getting some late work finished up.
Happy hatchday Kaladin!!!

Two things.
One.
Two.
It's been four years from today since I bought and started reading my first Brandon Sanderson book.
That book changed my life.
I'll write more about that next month.
Anyways, it was a $10 copy of tWoK from a B&N in Salt Lake City. I still have it and the receipt. (Don't ask why I didn't mean to keep it and now I can't bring myself to throw it away.)
Anyways.
Both of those things are things.
Happy bread anniversary!
