  1. From the album: CHRISTMAS wallpapers

This one was a pain to make, along with the other ones with two colors on the white background.
  2. From the album: CHRISTMAS wallpapers

This is harmonium, right? I'm pretty sure it it...
  3. I just want you all to know...

I dislike all of you at the moment.

I just spent two hours making Cosmere Christmas colored Cosmere symbols. Will I upload them? Probably. Maybe right now. But I still have plenty of homework.

    Storm you all.

No one particularly asked for these, I just like doing repetitive things.

I'll upload at least some today.

Yesssss... Fainting goats. And screaming goats. And those ones that stick their tongues out. And sometimes goats make really weird, really storming funny sounds.

My aunt had a fainting goat for a while. The only thing that scared it was umbrellas. And then only its back two legs would freeze up, and he'd just sort of pull himself around. It was a little sad, actually.

I want to a breed of half fainting goats and half of those goats that climb trees

      Oh. My. Goodness.

Let me know when you decide to do this.cheesy

I'll instantly apply for a job and start sponsoring you.

They'd fall out of the trees! Hehehehe!

Then they'd also have to be part fluffy goat, so that they don't get too badly hurt.

  4. And that is the best comment a writer can hope to receive! Thank you for the kind words! Thank you!
  5. "Is everyone ready to go?" Talnic asks. "Any more questions before we leave?" He glances over at the illusion one of the members of the group had made. Nodding in approval, he turns back to the others.
  6. I personally like the fanfic idea and the secret santa one. (Cremlings wearing santa hats?) I can't draw anything besides stick figures, so the secret santa thing might be... interesting. Maybe each person could do a piece of art and a piece of writing? Neither really would have to be good, just a sort of fun thing to do. I've made some phone/laptop Cosmere wallpapers in the past, so I might do some in Christmas colors and post those soon, too, if anyone's interested in that.
  7. Talnic strode back into town, this time with a scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face. There were more people out and about than there had been the previous evening, and he didn't want to be recognized, followed, or later tracked down. Of course, there were those who might recognize him due to the fact that he was completely obscuring his face, but the cold made it seem far less odd. He really needed to get back to the South, where it was perfectly normal go about with your face hidden. The academy was much closer to Talnic's camp than it was to the shop where he had attended the meeting the night before, and so he arrived rather quickly to his destination. In remembrance of the... altercation.... yesterday, Talnic grimaced. Part of him wished that he had taken off the man's hand completely, or even killed him. It would have prevented trouble from arising in the future. Talnic, however, hated killing. He was quick to draw his sword, but slow to strike unless necessary. He just hoped that
  8. This is my favorite thing ever,. The most accurate thing about this is Hoid becoming headmaster. I wouldn't put it past him to do that. When you keep texting your friend (who hasn't read RoW yet) random things like "THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD," and then proceed to tell her that she needs to read RoW. Each time, she says, "I know." Last time, though, she said, "if you spoil anything I'll kill you." So at least she's planning on reading it. When you haul a chunk of wood around the forest for a solid half hour, and the only reason you don't die is because you pretend you're carrying a bridge. (We were getting a Christmas tree, and the tree we picked was too tall. So we cut off the base. I wanted the part we cut off because I wanted to do something with it. My dad said I could have it if I carried it back to the car. I got a little lost, so that made the trip back longer. It was a big chunk of pine, and it was super wet because of the snow. It was at least 20 pounds. I'm not weak, but I'm not super strong either. So I carried it on my shoulder pretending it was a bridge. And now I have a big chunk of wood.)
  9. Talnic supposed he could respect someone keeping information like that to themselves. He did the exact same thing. The kid did still seem rather anxious, though, despite his enthusiasm. He'd have to keep an eye on him. "The alleyway will work," Talnic said. "Don't come unless you are genuinely going to accompany us." With that, he turned and strode away, leaving before the others could ask any more questions. He exited through a side gate that he hadn't noticed before, stepping back out into the blessedly deserted street. With a relived sigh, Talnic began making his way back to his camp that lay in the woods at the edge of town.
  10. I found this joke on Pinterest a while back, and felt like sharing.

Which Cosmere planet has the most ash?

Scadrial has a lot, but Roshar has Moash.

    And Evi.

      Condensation

:o My gosh, that's both hilarious and very very sad.

  11. Talnic rolled his eyes. Of course they thought that it was exciting. "They call me the shadow, and that's all you need to know," he said. Wait... "How do you know where the dragons are?"
  12. "Since you found us soon after, you are still tied to it. Not as strongly as I am, or the two who heard it first hand, but that connection is still there." Talnic shrugged. "You have even less reason to follow through with this than I or the two who heard the prophecy do."
  13. He should have know his brief moments of peace wouldn't last. Turning to the young elf. Talnic began to speak. "Every once in a while, completely at random, I will give a prophecy, which I can't remember afterwards, and then collapse. I tried to ignore them for years, but terrible things kept happening. So now I make sure to never ignore them, as the inconvenience is better than the potential death that will come as a result of ignoring the prophecy. The people who I am around when I give one are generally involved with whatever I need to do or experience. For example, this. As I am the one who gave the prophecy, I am tied to whatever happens as we peruse this. Those of you who heard it are as well, but to a lesser degree. You could all leave now and only experience a slight inconvenience. But the prophecy said that we would need several people in order to be successful. It is up to you all, though, to decide whether or not you will accompany me. I am very experienced in regards to finding and dealing with dragons, and have been very successful in this in the past. Little or no harm will befall you, of that you can be almost certain." Talnic sighed softly. Whoever or whatever the force behind his prophecies was, it tried very hard to inconvenience him. If he approached this like just another expedition that he had been hired to go on to provide support, though, he could likely deal with being surrounded by these people. Very strange people willing to go on a quest with a complete stranger. "Any questions?" Talnic asked.
  14. Talnic leaned against the high stone wall that surrounded the practice ground, anxiously tugging his hat just a little lower over his eyes. There were so many people... How was he supposed to take them all on this quest? There were so many emotions between all of them. How was Talnic supposed to keep track? He had to He did his best to not let his odd surge of emotions show, and instead focused on the task at hand. Watching the others talk. They'd likely realize that they had no idea what was going on in a few minutes, so until then, Talnic would appreciate being able to watch undisturbed from the side, trying to get an idea of who the people were. It certainly was an odd group.
  15. Talnic sighed. "Often, if people become involved in my prophecies and they choose to follow along, there don't tend to be any long lasting effects. But if they ignore them, there are occasionally consequences, although they tend to be greater for me than anyone else if I am the one who ignores them." Unless I was the one who caused you village to be destroyed. "You may come with us, or stay here. Something might happen to you, or maybe nothing will, although the prophecy did imply that something was at risk if you ignored it." Talnic was a little surprised at the willingness of the human to accompany him, however. Perhaps it was simply a thirst for adventure.
  16. Wow. Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. (I haven't read the rest of this thread, so I don't know how much stuff I'm repeating, especially about the new Shards.) Four new Shards? STORMS. It is really good to hear from Sazed again, though. Especially since I was rereading MB era 1 before I started RoW. It is a little disappointing that we got these four so quickly and easily, but I'm really glad, too. The hunt is drawing to a close, which is both amazing and a part of the disapointment. But there will always be more stuff. Just not the names of Shards. *sigh* And at the ending of the final chapter... When Lirin said "I will take responsibility..." I knew that it sounded way familiar, and after some very careful internet browsing, I remembered. Dalinar's third oath. "I will take responsibility for what I have done." What if Lirin is a Bondsmith? I don't really like him, but while I see where he's coming from, I really don't want him to be a Bondsmith. But what if? Those were the two big things for me. I am liking Navani a lot more than I thought I would, too. And now I'm going to go read the interludes.
