@leinton, I thought that Interlude was just showing us how important a spen’s Cognitive presence was very important. And by setting a defined measurement, you changed your view of the spren, then changing the spren as well due to its mainly Cognitive existence.

Miles Hundredlives. Or Miles Dagouter, If you like. -
@robardin, wouldn’t that make the balance of Push/Pull obsolete? I mean, what about Wax’s generalized steelpushes? Could a Lurcher never attain a ‘general direction Pull’?

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
Apollyon replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
@Kidpen, granted. But on one condition; it was particularly anticlimactic. I was hoping for something like “enlighten me”. I wish that everyone would find a particular show that exists on YT and watch it. Then we would all split off into sides, Arkos and Lancaster; in a great civil war to save (and/or end) humanity. -

Granted, but unfortunately, every time you order something you must move 500 miles away instantly. Your belongings come with you, but the things you ordered will never be yours. You have to purchase things manually and with cost forever. I wish for three additional chihuahuas that like onions, contrary to my previous post. -
Yeah, we had a discussion in a topic of Iron/Iron Compunder Flight I’m whether or not you could ‘see’ metals behind you without looking.
-
@Kidpen, I’m pretty sure he means silver. In SfSitFoH, Silver is used instead of aluminum against Shades. Brandon has confirmed that it is indeed silver instead of aluminum. Oh, and my question. Do you need to see Steellines and Ironlines to know that a metal object is there when burning their respective metals?

Spook. Edit: Nevermind, I only read the last clue. Edit 2: This is a pretty creative choice considering that absolu- I am a stick. I am a stick. I am a stick. I am a stick. I am a stick. I am a stick. I am a stick. I am a stick. -

Granted, but the judges don’t like the beehive and throw a trophy at it, causing bees to swarm everywhere and stinging anything that breathes minus you. The judges grudgingly hand over the now broken trophy whilst covered in bee stings. I wish that my high school would do spelling bees. -
In re-reading WoA, during one of Vin's nightly duels with Zane, she pushes on things behind her quite often. I'm not currently at book, but I remember her specifically getting in midair Steelpushing matches with Zane. She then Pushes on things behind her with no mention of turning around to brace herself against Zane. While this isn't Iron, I assume it still allies. TL;DR: In WoA, Vin Pushes on stuff behind her without looking.

Yes, my question was the command to Hoid's Awakened boxer shorts which are stuck on my head and own all the Instant Noodle shops in the Cosmere. Your bane is that you must still tell me what the command is on your 3rd post. I wish for a flaming ant that won't kill me directly or indirectly. -

And then there’s me, hoping to convince at least one person to read more than Mistborn Era 1... It hurts to not have someone to discuss Cosmere with.

So tough I still haven’t found it. I’ll probably have to consult the deep web for this. -

@The One Who Connects, you’re saying that in that era, being cognitively alive(viewed as living by other things and itself) would be more important than being physically alive? I’ll take that. Edit: Accidentally mentioned Gancho Libre in the first draft. Your profile pictures are so similar!

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Apollyon replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you spend your time measuring the amount of iron in human beings, correcting assumptions about compounding + Awakening, and seeing how fast pure iron digests in a human stomach. (That last one was ridiculously tough to find a straight answer to.) -
Correction, compounding doesn’t increase Allomantic power. Compounding only fuels a Feruchemical metalmind. It doesn’t even produce an Allomantic effect. Ex. A Steel/Steel compounder has a steel metalmind with a small Feruchemical store inside. They swallow the mind and burn it. Instead of tapping the metalmind to gain speed, burning it produces the speed. No steel-lines come out of the Allomancer’s body. They cannot push on metals. They are, essentially, burning the steel to gain Physical speed. On a side note, the iron in one’s self is not alive. I would think that to have it be considered alive, it would have to be at least a cell at smallest. Iron particles are not alive.
-
There are 4 grams of iron in a full grown adult male’s blood. That might seem enough to Pull/Push, but consider the fact that a coin(a Standard US Quarter) is 28 grams, 7 times the amount in a human body. That seems a rather small amount of metal to use allomancy on considering that your taking an entire 150 lbs. with it. I don’t think it’s plausible.

Let’s take a moment to decide what a ghanderflaffle is. We know that they slither, have oily black feathers, can survive combustion for long periods of time, see through their noses, have biceps, and can apparently juggle. Can someone draw this thing?- 111823 replies
