Anyone else read that as Jasnas attempt at flirting whilst trying not to be to peeved that this passionate man is calling her heartless and questioning her scholarship.! You know, Jasna being Jasna shes not very good at displays of emotion and human interactions outside of scholarly context. I could go both ways here.. Theres more world hoppers out there than we know of. Its not that far fetched that a story could cross the void and change over time to be more Rosharian. Though if its Elantrian i saw the perfect society outside the walls to to be the Elantrians (hmmm Shallan unconsciously changing the girls hair white.. a truth?). Which makes me wonder if this story was about how the Elantrians broke.. !! And the girl was someone in disguis as this person wanted to steal Elantrick prowess !! (Ok, calm down buddy. Bit of a jump there) If its Rosharian in origin.. it does pose a few possibilities.. I liked that idea the girl is a herald.. and running with the concepts we've been givin in this book so far, could this story be: * of the heralds breaking the listeners, stealing their light and bringing the storm? * the recreance or what started it? * what we did to help kill Honor - making Honors CS merge with The Storm Father and investing the storm? (Was that when the high storm got invested??) Sneaky sneaky Sanderson.. 3 chapters a week and still you blow my mind. What will happen when i finally get my hands on this book! Ive got a couple of cents to throw in.! Im going with Voidspren of Odium, based on the color correlations between said Spren and.. Memba when Dalinar saw the Champion, and the golden color / hue we saw at the end of the vision? (Im guessing this is Odiums color) And memba the color this spren radiated? Golden pillars of light and the such.. Im thinking theres a connection here and im going to run with it On another note, ive theorized that Voidspren are corrupted Radient Spren! Cooked this up when i saw that voidbinding chart and its similarity to the radient chart. To add another peg.. Notice how this yellow "Voidspren" looks similar to Syl? Memba Kaladin nearly spoke to her as if she was Syl before he noticed she was golden and not blue, different dress (though Syl can.. change clothes) more angular features. Yes, I have this crazy theory that the 17th shard is where Mr S is developing a super secret subtle magic system which is kinda like breaths based on the amount of posts ÷ reputation × who gave the reputation with various levels called "Heightenings" and one day there will be enough acolytes and posts and the 17th Shard will become sentient and self aware and end up taking over the world..! And one day Mr S accidentally lets it slip he was wrong and wont be able to pull this off in 30 odd books and it will be more like nearly 70, unfortunately he becomes afflicted with old age and in desperation, the 17th Shard kidnaps Mr S and cryogenically freezes him until said affliction can be cured.. After a time the Church off Brandon is formed with many sects with varying beliefs all based on the Cosmer Revelations which unfortunately has created several WoB (Wars of Brandon) to various degrees of devastations - ahem, basically talking about debates akin to our politcal debates which sometimes escalated to the battlefield of... what's that game Mr S is fond of again? Well that "battlefield" The main two sects though have a major difference where one believes Hoid is our messiah and the other believes he is a normal person who should have left well enough alone and deserves his plight.. Though it is lost to the histories, for some reason one of them thinks pigs are immoral, filthy and shouldnt be touched where the other sees pigs as holy and every 7th day it is a holy right to eat bacon to restore your immaturaries! Id also like to point out that pre chapter part in WoR that reads something like: Jesrian (Jesrian?) demanded the Radiants adhere to their laws or he will kill them all.. Im inclined to agree with @Calderis point that there direct link to Honors investiture is what makes them OP compared to the Radiants. Regarding the "white washing" effect, who wants to bet that 85% of characters have brittish, welsh, irish and Scottish accents (not including the seanchen)?? Tangential side note: I'm wondering if the Storm Father was a dead before Honors CS merged with him due to the Recreance? or if that is why he didnt die? Or is that what caused the Recreance? Ok where back! Important Question: Is Honors CS the same thing as Tanavasts CS? To round this theory up... Tanavast was "killed" when Honor was shattered Odium went mine!! Tanavast has been tortured in Damnation for the last "x" millennia The true desolation comes Champion rule invoked Odium reveals his trump card Tanavast - bonded to all of the unmade!! Tangential side note: I wonder if this Taln fellow who Mr S keeps implying isn't who we think it is even though his odius mantra says his name 100 times a day... Is actually Tanavast..? They do have similar descriptions Big.. Black.. Long hair.. Though they don't describe the color of the hair and yes "Taln" has a beard, though I've found that they kinda.. Grow on you.. Edit: Also I think it is relevant to point out here that the Storm Father didn't see the Odium part of the vision. Appears to imply that Odium has hacked the visions and if that is the case than the visions can't be taken as 100% honor.. And we could suggest that the visions are part of Odiums game and this whole "champion" idea is Odiums idea.! Hmmmmm... Didn't Gavilar have visions and want to start the desolation..? Ok, i'm ready.. Anyone else feeling a brand healing coming from the aftermath of Kals super punch? You know, hes decided to not let the storms dictate his moods. Thats a big step for our lil kala'boy Im seeing Kal give a super glare to the guards as they get all huffy. Someone calls him a slave and he notices a charged sphere or two has popped out of Roshone, steals some light and does the glowing thing, levitates for effect and proclaims... "I am Kaladin Stormblessed! I am not a slave!!" Fist pumps the air. "Bridge 4!!" Syl appears full sized giving kal an amused reprimanding look and says.. Lol.. my left hand is sentient and sometimes has the desire to slap people! Thankfully im sapient enough to keep it under control.. most of the time. @Mason Wheeler i dont think Mr S will reuse ideas @ another shard sacrificing itself to take out Odium. Plus correct me if im wrong but what happened at the end of HoA was due to the conflicting intents where preservation and ruin are opposites which caused friction when in contact.. My guess is at the end of book 5 Odiums champion will win and Odium will break the oathpact but leave him weakend. Another shard, probably cultivation will attack Odium and tear the vessal from the shard leaving lil Rayse all squirmy and impotent. Cultivation will take up Odium and become an unstable double shard and antagonist in the back end.. the new cultivation will put honor back together inducing a horrid ammount of uninvesting with very dramatic effects instigating honors last vision.. mass exodus to Ashin. And.. Gosh i dont know.. Though im never right with my guesses, Mr S outsmarts me every time dang it! !~ HIF ~!

A bit over 2 months guys!! I dont suppose anyone can lend me a cadmium fuled allomantic grenade? No..? Sigh.. Ok im usually way off base with my theories but that could be something to do with prophesising is evil maybe.. ill warn you some of this may be a tad silly, ill leave it up to you guys to decide 1 - we find out hoid bonded stick!! 2 - Jasna unleashes on a voidish army and becomes the whitethorn saving a city whilst hoid sits on the wall playing with sand calling out critiques. 2.5 - jasna takes a breather next to hoid demanding he helps to which he states he obviously is.. turns out his "sand playing" saved jasna a few times. 2.75 - hoid reslises at the end of the book that these odius monsters arent people and hes "allowed" to hurt them!! 3 - the stoneshamens make an epic appearence making them appear a bit OP. 3.5 - szeth takes on the stoneshamens and unsheaths Nightblood, the battle is epically short.. 3.75 - Nightblood consumes an honorblade or two 4 - szeth and kaladin buddy up and szeth teaches Kal about his surges 4.5 - szeth becomes a squire allowing him to store stormlight.. which sounds usufull 5 - at the end of the book we see an impossibly large void army moving towards something special 6 - at the end of the book someine finds a cache of 100s of shards (all those missing ones) 7 - kal progresses again and syl can become more physica 7.5 - syl kisses kal 8 - adolin goes a downward spiral and drinks purple wine!! 8.5 - rennarian knows what adolin did kast summer (sadias) amd is conflictingly proud / dissapointed 8.75 - adolin gets exiled and meets up with kal telling him about sadias. 9 - the storm wardens, a couple of heralds and szeth make a dramatic entrance to urithuru via a locked oathgate 10 - we finally meet the night watcher, probably a flashback or interlude.. its a very small scene and is talked about for years. With this logic in mind we could conclude that we are all right with our descrepencies between our guesses!! Hazzaaa!! !~ HIF ~!

Sry, going to be lazy as dont have time ATM to look for it but I memba reading somewhere something about "cracks" involving spirit webs and how much investiture an individual can use and this being related to trauma. I think this discussion revolved around mistborn snapping.. Regarding this post, maybe its a lil of collumn a and a lil of column b. Meaning: Truthwatchers have this vision perk but Renni is more.. impacting or convulsive due to past trauma = epilepsy? Dont think its going to be that easy. Would be a great way to end the war before it begins by removing his enemies biggest players or.. Further discredit them. E.g. Than the time comes and we need them and humanity still doesnt trust the KR ontop of them being unstable and crazy (due to Odious infuence).. Hmmm. This got me thinking about something I read (think it was a WoB, sry at work and dont have time to find) where the shards have an associated special individual number: Preservation =16 Honor = 10 Odium = 9 I think he even said they have an associated color too.. maybe.. Im wondering if this 7th land business is a hint at the shard.? Not that we know enough about who's number is who.. or do we!? If the shard color is valid than it could be another indicator.. Ok, before I get to my Outrageous Theory I'm going to talk about some things that got me there.. I'm going to point towards some WoB that I've read, sorry in advance as I find it difficult to cycle through all the WoB to find the exact quotes: WoB that suggested that there's more to the creation of Nightblood than a bucket load of breaths and a command WoB that suggests the five scholars were World Hoppers WoB that suggests Nightblood was modeled after a Shardblade Outrageous theory in the form of a humble question: I may be way ahead of myself here, so I'm going to ask some questions that may point us in the right direction or void said theory: In relation to the Cosmere timeline - where is SA compared to Warbreaker? keeping in mind that Nightblood was created at least 3 centuries ago (That was when Vasher ended the war he started wasn't it?) In relation to the Cosmere timeline - when was The Recreance? Is a Shardblade like Aluminum and immune to awakening.? if so, can enough breaths (investiture) overcome this? Is there possibly a Connection issue? (crossing over Shardic Magic) if so, can enough breaths (investiture) overcome this? Thoughts..? !~ HIF ~!

I did a quick search and couldn't find anyone asking. Sooo... Could an Allomancy Grenade be charged to store other magic systems? That crazy part of me is saying something about "Connection".
