I'm curious whether this "door to the Spirit World" will happen? Sounds like the perfect thing for an evil organization (Doctor's boss) to want in their basement, or perhaps in the middle of a really populated city. And if you're cooking up another chapter soon (I like the potential of this story).

Do we have a vote tally? Second half of the cycle, it's about time. I'm concerned about this Assassin bandwagon. Time and time again, some of it my fault, we bandwagon a runaway train that we can't stop. However, due to the death of quite a few voters, the number of votes is small enough to sway. So let's all just bandwagon on Drought! (That was totally not a hypocritical statement)

Joe felt weird. Rat had not left his shoulder since the day he died, perhaps to protect him. It was easier to talk to him now. "What is wrong with me?" Squeak. Squeak, squeak-squeak. "Have I changed? Should I change my name to Fred or something?" Squeak. "Are you sure? How can I be not useless? Was it because I had that vendor?" Squeak squeak. "No? I feel empty, like something has left. Can you explain that?" Squeak. "So many people are dead. I died too! Wait a moment... does that mean I won't die again?" Squeak squeak squeak. "Dang. But there is still hope?" Squeak. "That's good. Hmm. In the prologue, I would add a bit more build up, because the bomb comes suddenly and a bit too quickly. We don't even have any time to bond with Claire. The doctor needs a little work too.

Some sort of Spiked Mistborn drew steel... I have a theory on their strategy. What if the Spiked are targeting Thugs through lynch and such, and eliminating one of their lives, then killing them whenever? With most likely no village lurchers left, we are vulnerable. So, I don't have a clear suspicion yet, but one of these times I'll do some RP.
