Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Interesting that you think that. I didn't mention Brightness because she is effectively cleared as a former holder of Generosity. If she were an Elim, she would have been kidnapped just like Crimsn was. And even though Elims might be concentrated in certain pony types, I'm sure our GM evenly distributed Elements of Harmony. Elims can't hold Elements. Because there are six Elements, it would be safe to assume that there are two Elements in each type. Straw and Mint were the Unicorn Holders, and Flash and Crimsn were Unicorn Elims. Alv claims to be the original holder of Generosity, so that is one Pegasus. Magic has not claimed, Kindness has not claimed, and Honesty has not claimed. Of the three not claimed, one of them will be a Pegasus and the other two will be Earth ponies. There are only so many ponies, and the more Villagers revealed, that means there are only so many possible Elims. Ecthelion, I find your vote quite incriminating. Brightness has been confirmed by Seonid, who was in turn confirmed by Alv. She is one of the most cleared players right now. And you also think that I am suspicious, yet fail to vote on me? Also suspicious of you. Ninja-d by BR- 628 replies

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm ditto on all of this. There should be one Elim left among the Earth Ponies and the Pegasi each, since there were two Unicorn Elims. Of the Pegasi, Ecth has been the most active. Jedal and Ornstein are lurking pretty heavily, Ornstein only popping in once and a while to give very little useful information and say something else. I'm thinking that that of the Elims, a Pegasus is the most likely lurker, due to its ability. However, this does not clear Ecth at the moment. I think it would be best to focus on Pegasi for now, so Jedal.- 628 replies

Okay, it's not exactly a vote tally, but the people who have been voted on are Cluny, Stick, Dalinar, Lopen, and Orlok. I'll give my thoughts on each of them, but it's mostly a gut read. I promise I'll be more active from now on. Cluny: It has been all over the place for him. At first, he seemed pretty off, but after he role-claimed and even offered his ability to the public, I've been leaning village-ish on him. It certainly doesn't seem like an Elim move to me, but after LG33... villager-ish read for now. Stick: Apparently she has been calling people out... I'm not finding that very alignment indicative, but I should probably go back and take a closer look. Neutral read. Dalinar: His thought game/puzzle on Elims is interesting, but could also be a clever ploy to draw attention to villagers. His choices of Elims are suspicious in my mind, though, so I'm conflicted. Really though, I'm somewhat leaning Elim on him. EDIT: Dalinar is now sounding more evil to me, now that I've read through more posts. He is piggybacking off of Lopen, which is strange, because Lopen's reason for voting on Stick wasn't all that great. This on top of my already Elim gut feeling is waving red flags. Lopen: I don't know. He has been contributing to discussion, but his vote on Stick I'm not sure about. I don't think it is really something to be worried about right now. Neutral read. Orlok: After he claimed Captain and PK turned out to be Village, Orlok has been getting an evil gut read. Sure, it would be foolish for an Elim to make such a gamble in the early game, and Orlok is certainly not a sloppy player, I don't know. It wouldn't be good to lose a Village Captain, but perhaps he want's us to get all worked up about the ups and downs of his role, etc, that we skip over him even though his is actually an Elim. I'm confused, but leaning Elim. EDIT: Okay, I'm going to vote. For reasons stated above, I think Dalinar is suspicious.

C and/or K in the name. This "letter template" works with quasi-European fantasy names, which is what I write most of the time.
-
Everyone tells me I have great naming abilities, and I feel it comes down to specific letters. The following is what I use for male names. Female names are harder for me. A, D, G, and sometimes V are good powerful names. Pairing A with C or K works really well. Names that fit this criteria are good for prominent heros or generals. Z, F, H, R, and M usually fit well as mysterious characters or as villains. Not always, though. E, G, C, S, J, and L, but also others, are good protagonist names.

I wouldn't be so sure to leave Cluny off the hook. It could go either way, and we have barely anything to base his behavior off of. Interesting that Cluny is offering his ability up in a public vote.

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I mentioned Honesty as the only other way I could see this possible under the circumstance that everyone Crimsn mentioned is an Elim. If any of them are not Elims, consider Crimsn evil.- 628 replies

It was an either-or statement. In the instance that she is the holder of Honesty, she is not an Elim. You cannot pass Honesty, I was not saying that.- 628 replies

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hmmm. Well, first I think we should investigate her claimed "fellow Changelings", and then, if they are evil, all the better for us. Then we can test to see if she was either a Changeling ratting out her comrades or the holder of Honesty or close confidant of Honesty. Technically, enough turns have passed that a lucky Honesty holder could have landed on an Elim each try. Highly unlikely though.- 628 replies
