Originating from a eugenics program won't, on its own, make someone unstable. I guess it depends on how the Set raises the little one.

Fungi could work in place of plants although they're decomposers not producers like plants are so it'd quite an unusual ecosystem which could make for a rather interesting one. Low levels of light can result in plant life but it'd probably be small plants so a grassland environment could work (I'm no expert). Lichen would also need light as they form as a result of algae or cyanobacteria (both photosynthesising organisms) and fungus.

Modern Society in AonDor
Agent34 replied to The One Who Connects's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
Although Aons can be very versatile and powerful they take time to draw and have to be perfectly precise in order to work. Keep in mind Selish magics are basically programming reality in one way or another.- 46 replies

I can't offer a proper critique but one small nitpick is that algae (as far as I know) require light for photosynthesis and so won't be able to grow in lightless conditions e.g. the elhemal territory of Amaris.

She seems to choose whether her food becomes Investiture or glucose. If she doesn't convert it to Investiture within a certain time frame she can't use it and has to eat more.

Radiantspren “True” Names, KR Oaths, and KR Behavior
Agent34 replied to Confused's topic in Stormlight Archive
Honor is sticking to a rigid code forever. I imagine a being connected to that Intent wouldn't like change or variability all that much.- 10 replies

What makes you say that with such certainty?

Cadmium has allomantic value and is burnable. Lead would probably be a better choice.
-
The Spiritual is filtered through the Cognitive so it plays a role.

To add to Steeldancer's point she wouldn't be talking to a spren either.

That seems to be the case for at least one lot of them, warform raiding the grain store.

@JoyBlu Kaladin won't be able to heal others with stormlight like Ym (the shoemaker/cobbler) due to his Order not being able to access the Surge of Progression. On a similar topic Lightweavers and Bondsmiths don't share any Surges/attributes so I'd say Dalinar's ability is with any Radiant.

Modern Society in AonDor

I wonder if that could perhaps lead to darker uses of Aon Seo.- 46 replies

I don't think he does. If he hadn't left around that time he definitely would've been in another part of the tower when Adolin did the deed. We know he wasn't there when the body was discovered either.

To add to Yata's last point; Brandon has in his notes an aluminium savant being capable of purging unwanted Investitures from the body. So aluminium in the Scadrian magics isn't necessarily as useless as it may appear.

There's probably some kind of hack required. I imagine it'd have to do with Identity.

Tension makes flexible things stiff and vice versa, like turning cloth into a blade. Cohesion allows someone to make solid things into putty. @Ryder I believe there was a description of her in bladeform in WoR.

Vin was tricked into swallowing a ball of "atium" and I think there are other instances of metal beads being used as fuel.

Gencon Hemalurgy WoB (Random realmatic discussion)
Agent34 replied to Calderis's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Keep in mind Scadrial has more than just Allomancy. Sel's magic is programming reality through symbols that channel the Dor, for Scadrial's magics to be considered one system you'd have to go with something rather general like using metal to perform magic which is more broad. I know this doesn't exactly shine a light on an answer but maybe it could be food for thought.- 143 replies

Could the one yelling to unite them be Tanavast in the vision?
-
It does have a field effect. There's a WoB somewhere about exactly this, even though it's in the hat the aluminium creates a bubble of nullification/interference. Edit: found it

I think it works through both of those methods. First an attribute is stored in some metal which is then burned provided extra amounts of that particular attribute. This not only allows for a superboost but also allows for the excess to be stored in another metalminds which themselves can be burned.

Could drowning be an effective execution method? Breath is stored in a separate metal to health so perhaps gold healing doesn't cover something like that.

Honorspren existed before Honor was killed though.
