    SteelDancer stumbled through a perpendicularity. Without his steel. Caught without his steel, stupid, stupid, stupid! All he had were the steelminds implanted into his body. Nothing to compound with. No stormlight, no nothing! Well he did have Kyn. But what use was a shardblade here?

    That's what makes me wonder if the characters will have an important arc in Stormlight... otherwise why would background be needed?

    Good idea, but I don't think it'll work. Simply because if they die, both teams lose, because the dream should collapse. Therefore, it would be in their interest to promptly claim, at which point they would experience no danger, like it L35. Plus, I'm not sure what the win condition would be. Still a cool idea though. Limbo obviously lol. How could it be anything else.
