  1. 40 minutes aghhhhhhh
  2. Wait. Ohhhhh I thought a seer was a gold misting. Nm I'm awesome.
  3. You can talk about what's in the chapter. Which gives us all sorts of juicy tidbits.
  4. An upvote for pure originality.
  5. Brandon just released a chapter of Dragonsteel prime Here. Check it out! Let's SPECULATE. Also I don't know if this goes in unpublished or something... if I'm wrong just tell me. beware of Liar of Partinel chapter spoilers, and none of this is canon. Ok first off, lightweaving from the Sho Del. Cool stuff. I'm not sure whether its actually solid objects here. Second, FROST!! obviously what's redacted must be about his dragon background or something. Third, Dragonsteel. I wonder if it's Adonalsiums metal. Hmmm. Caste marks, the shattered plains, bridge 4 all are obviously in Stormlight now. I'm going to speculate that the Sho Del might be remnants of Fainlife. See the Liar of Partinel chapters for more clarification on what that was. (Basically an evil moss). Ok chapter two is Here, and chapter 3 is here, and chapter 4 is Here.
  6. I'm Batman. -Batman.
  7. I've gone from spinning in circles (still don't know what that's from) to bring a seer (one of the more useless allomantic powers). Hooray!
  8. Hey. Steeldancer here. No edgedancers.
  9. I will play as... Eobard. Eobard his making his return. Soon as I figure out his stuff...
  10. I mean it could also be one of the many girls that Adolin had dated!
  11. I'll just mention the whole discussion in Fablehaven the Shadow Plague. A bear who kills a family might not be EVIL, but it would still be within the dads right to go kill the bear. Also, while dark creatures might not be evil, they are still dark and need to be taken down.
  12. Right woman with a beard then?
  13. Perhaps one of them is another herald. Vel perhaps?
  14. WHO DARES TO SUMMON ME?! Anyway this guy shows up in a chapter, outside the palaneum. The chapter heading had 4 pictures of Ishar. Makes me suspicious of anyone who looks like they may be a Herald when that happens. It is also possible that the guy is just a normal ardent. But I'm going with Ishar, at least until proved otherwise.
  15. Hm the problem with this is that perhaps the roles are a construct of odium. Plus, the whole spicy v sweet thing bothers me.
  16. I never said stop discussing it. I'm just asking in exasperation why we are still discussing it. It's this kind of topic where opinions get touted as facts the most, and arguments get nasty and don't convince anyone. There's also the thing that there are a dozen other threads on this topic. The last thing I intended here was to cause more tension in this thing. My post was intended to diffuse the tension this topic invariably creates. Now I was ninjad by Calderis, so I'll see what he has to say.
  17. I'm saying this argument has been hashed out a thousand times. In a thousand threads. Like stick, it comes to a point where enough is enough. Brandon Sanderson will do the characters justice. Isn't that enough? Has he ever failed us? Has he ever been defined by the normal expectations? No. No he hasn't. If shalladin happens, it happens. If Shadolin continues, it continues. Brandon probably has something absolutely amazing in store for us in the next 8 books. I say, let it happen. Kolo?
  18. No politics, but I'm going to put forward my opinion. The flag stands for an ideal. An honorable, true, and valuable ideal. America does stand for something worthwhile, and anybody who wants to argue with that... well whatever. The REALITY is that we do not match up to that ideal. I believe in that ideal of America. I don't believe in the reality of America. Honor is an ideal, something to aspire to. The ideal is great. The reality isn't always.
  19. I swear I am so done with the shipping wars. JUST LET THE BOOK HAPPEN FOR STORMS SAKE
  20. Ok then let's up the stakes. If he were a Dustbringer instead of an edgedancer... boom. I think it'll come to a point where given enough compounding, Steeldancer could go faster than atium could react. Also, how pushable is a shardblade? Not that pushable, I imagine. Also, the element of surprise. I dont think TLR would have ever seen a shardblade before, or would know what it could do. That alone could end the battle right there. I don't think you can just ignore friction. Your body all BURN UP. That's not something you can just pewter your way through.
  21. So I spent some time today reading action comics 988 and Dark Nights: Metal. HOLY cow. Spoilers ahead, read at your own risk. Action Comics: dark nights metal So, in essence, DC is trouncing Marvel in every way right now. I've never been this excited over anything Marvel has done (besides the movies, which are great, but this is a thread about comics). If Superman and Batman continue on this track... man are we in for a wild ride. And we haven't even gotten Shazam back yet! SO EXCITED!!!! Anyway, I think DC rocks right now. If you disagree, feel free to... but you're wrong. I do hope Marvel gets their act together but as long as DC is on a roll I will continue to give it the lauding it deserves.
