I thought a WOB confirmed that the reason Vasher was on Roshar was because it had an easily obtained source of investiture for him to use to stay alive. (only Talidin is better). We do have a WOB that Nightblood can feed off of stormlight, and the mists for that matter.

I believe we have a WOB that both Ati and Leras were Human. I'll see if i can find it. The Coppermind article for Ati states "Ati is a human and the original Vessel of the Shard Ruin."

WOB (i am no good at finding these BTW) says that a Returned COULD Sire/Mother a Child. There is no evidence that anybody in world currently knows how to accomplish this, and out of world Team Sanderson is quite on the subject, but it has been done in the past. Spoliers:

In the book it mentions the "heir" is not their child, but a infant/child that returned and made to appear to be the God King's Heir. Hence why the priests needed them to get married and get together quickly. The successor had already been found, but they needed her "to be pregnant" and sequestered for the requisite time before the child grew up too much to maintain the illusion.

I personally believe that we will see another "in between" trilogy for a total of 16 Mistborn books. 16 Mistborn and 10 Stormlight would anything be more appropriate?

Elantris Spoilers: SO a bit late with this, and i don't know if this is already accepted as general knowledge, but at the signing i asked about the number of people who died to give Dilaf the power to resist Aon's the text says it took something like 50 (don't have the book with me). I asked if the number of deaths was essential to make Dhakor work or if a single person with say 50+ breaths or a surgebinder with an equivalent amount of stormlight would work. ANSWER: "The amount of investiture is what is important not the number of people." He also said that different types of investiture would work, but turned to sign another book so i missed if there was any caveats on using other types of investiture.

I would pay to see that.

I asked this question a while back and was told the the beads represent Allomancy, the bands(arcs) Feruchemy, and the spikes are Hemalurgy BUT placement of each was purely artistic.I suspect there is more meaning behind them though. beyond my feelings no other deeper meaning has been found or derived by the illustrious group. But the symbols do represent letters. Go to the coppermind and search for the steel Alphabet for more details. there.

Right after subbing this my wife was diagnosed with some serious stuff. This stuff finally resulted in the preterm birth of our second son. As such I haven't even got around to reading your reviews. I plan to though, and will edit / update accordingly . Sebastian was born on Pearl Harbor day 5-weeks early by emergency C-section. Mom is nearly fully recovered and at home doing well. Baby is doing good very with a small chance he will be home for Christmas, but currently we expect him by new years.

Ruin and Preservation were also polarized. I suspect that taking up a shard requires a similar "crack" in the spirit web as to any initiation of investiture, but this "crack" would be fundamentally different to take up a shard. Further more it likely would require multiple different "cracks" to take up multiple shards. Secret History Spoilers that applys to this thought. As for how Sazed took up both, being a feruchemist he was already aligned with both shards. The death Tindwel and the further depression and rejection of everything he believed would have created/enhanced those "cracks". His time in the Homeland would have continued the changes in a drastic manner. Altogether he was being prepared for his role as the Vessel of both.

The system here would involve moving a "concept" from one place to another. IE i can move heat from water, thereby freezing it, to my morning coaco, or i move the "wetness" or moisture from that same water into a the ground around me. while anyone that moves the "concept" from something also has to move it into something else, most practitioners don't understand the limitation. I.e. some people manipulate heat by drawing heat out of their surroundings into something specific while others manipulate cold but drawing out heat of something specific and let it enter their surroundings. At the current stage of development very few (only one that i am aware of) people have realized that if you go one way you can go the other, it is just a change of perspective. As for Sel's lamp everyone has referenced it as a "magic" or "genie's" lamp. But, i see a simple oil lamp lit for light. This kind of lamp which is often a symbol of religious worship and personal devotion think of the New Testament Parable of the ten virgins.... wait devotion... needless to say but I see the lamp as a reference to Devotion.

I always thought that Greater Rosharian system was just the internal three plants. Hoid likely has no interest in the planets outside of the habitable zone. SO he is only interested in the "Greater" part of the system As for how three planets is greater then ten realize that in the cognitive realm the three with life will have much more presence then the others that have minimal cognitive activity.

I concur with Maxal at this point Kaladin's Squires are using stormlight, his fourth oath will likely be along the lines of teaching others to protect or leading those who are lost

I suspect the Truth watchers Oaths are tied to speaking the truths (not speaking truths like the light weavers) I guess for the second ideal "I will not seek to deceive others." followed by the third "I will seek out the truth. no matter where it may be found" The last one is likely "I will only Sspeak the truth, regardless of the consequences." SO now when Shallan asks "Does this dress make me look fat?" what does he say?

SO this will contain discussions on themes within the SA spoilers galore. I have a couple of thoughts as to why this may be the case. Thought #1: The Woman in the picture that we don't know anything able is the Nightwatcher (I subscribe to the Nightwatcher=Cultivation theory). Thought #2: The Way of Kings has very little discussion about Voidbinding but a lot about the Old Magic. So if anyone has a WoB of other evidence to the true nature of the picture please share.

@RubiksCube Nice i got it down to about 45 seconds, but my cube is now about 10 years old the stickers have been worn off and replaced about 5 times now so it isn't the smoothest thing ever to turn.

Adding Elantris and SH spoilers: I have always suspected that the Ire were dabbling in Hemalurgy prior or even after the event of SH. it is possible that there some Elantians among them that want to keep their powers even great distances away from Elantris, and that the wohle reason they wanted Preservation's was to restore order to Sels' Cognitive realm. so when Sazed takes both shards they needed a new way hence Hemalurgy.
