Yeah like @Calderis says what Autonomy has been doing has to have a side-effect of getting stronger(it's Sanderson so i doubt there won't be) . It's interesting that if Autonomy haves a harder time managing to shard powers because of the avatars then we have two of the most powerful shard in cosmere facing off. While both being uhm conflicted by their own nature. Now that's fun lol

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
goody153 replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Granted, but now school never happens anymore. Nobody gets education anymore and the world eventually plummets into the chaos due to illiteracy. The world is now in a post-apocalyptic state no thanks to you. I wish for Hemalurgically spiked cookies and me being a undiluted(original mistborn level power) soother. -
Crackpot Theories (A game)
goody153 replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Proof: Where else would he pick up his unhealthy habit of worldhopping and putting himself in dangerous situations but from his parents ? I mean alcoholism can likely be picked by the child of the alcoholic how would that be different from worldhopping. Theory: Marsh is just tensoon pretending to be an Inquisitor and has been given by Harmony the secrets of Kandra allomancy. -
THEORY: "Trell" is Cultivation
goody153 replied to Unlicensed Hemalurgist's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I think the problem with Trell being cultivation is at first glance Cultivation is stuck with Odium in Roshar and it doesn't look like it's gonna be resolved soon It's more likely that it'd be Odium rather than Cultivation if it really was a Roshar-ian shard who is messing with Scadrial Era 2 Odium didn't get all the hype from WoB's, fans and "the most dangerous of 16" just so that he'll lose inbetween SA 5 and 6 to fit the nifty timeline that either cultivation or odium is attacking scadrial Autonomy is building a galactic empire and well Cultivation can't even secure her own realm. I liked the theory that Cultivation had a hand of Honor's downfall but she literally can't be against team Dalinar midway because if nobody opposes a shard and if the shard tries to kill the mortals they simply can't do anything about it. There are those who didn't like the entire situation of Ruin and Preservation ended up with but there are still shards who don't mind that situation. Cultivation vessel doesn't seem like a foolish girl who would fight the two giants of cosmere at the same time. Afaik there's a Trell in whitesand (a world Autonomy invested in) About the Hemalurgy theory basically what we've seen so far that is the application of Hemalurgy is simply what Ruin shared and Trell showcased. Afaik there are more forms that Hemalurgy can do but i doubt Sazed is willing to share.- 39 replies

Yesteel Denth Eliminated Arsteel. I mean who was turned into lifeless again ? He sounds like the sucker of the 3. Championship round(who would join Beldre and Malata at the Hall of Fame). Who would likely succeed in organizing a intercosmere conference about biochromatic types ?

Crackpot Theories (A game)

Proof: Yes. Ash. Ash Spren. Just yes. Theory: Rayse has a huge crush on Endorment's vessel. -
All shards can replicate any magic system but some can make it work efficiently while need to invest more than they normally would fueling their own magic system.

Did Honor break his word? Could he fight his intent?
goody153 replied to KalaDANG's question in Cosmere Q&A
Interesting. They can't break certain "agreements", they can lie, manipulate, delay but not break agreement between shards. Or that could also be just Leras showcasing hopelessness and sense of inevitability i mean in the book he literally said that he thinks Ruin could be right about everything needing to end(which in hindsight is so wrong since he's preservation the literal opposite of Ruin) but that's just me putting other possibilities about it. Until Sanderson says so i think i can consider that possibility. -
Did Honor break his word? Could he fight his intent?
goody153 replied to KalaDANG's question in Cosmere Q&A
Can none of them really break their word ? I always found Stormlight Archives weird as why Odium can't apparently break his word(he could be a lying crembag that has a really complicated situation why he can't) Preservation broke his promise with Ruin. In my impression Ruin saw it as a betrayal of trust that he didn't think Preservation(Leras) would actually betray him. Is it possible that lying and breaking oaths are really just a thing for Shards with intent that is more "human morality" compared to Shards with more "nature" intent ? Cause it would make sense why Preservation could break a promise to Ruin and why Odium could not to Honor. Then we also that if assuming the vessels did make the promise post-ascension with a bunch of them cohabiting together(Devotion and Dominion, Ruin and Preservation, Honor and Cultivation). -
I've already accepted at this point that Kelsier is part of the grander game of cosmere. I just hope that whatever his final character arc will be can beat his initial final character arc that was basically one of the best stuff in fiction that i've read(Kelsier's gambit during TFE)

I know it was planned that's why when i learned it was planned the entire thing didn't seem as brilliant and impressive anymore. Well it's still brilliant and impressive(i still believe the culmination of era 1 is the greatest thing Sanderson made so far) but it's more disappointing that it was actually planned rather than just a retcon or last minute change. I know about the necessity like if Kelsier wasn't revived Preservation would have no vessel and would be splintered(after leras death and before Vin's ascension) which wouldn't make sense . It also made some really annoying things too like undermining the other crews works because it seemed like Kelsier show than an overall effort to beat Ruin. It's never a good thing when one character actually takes away other characters shining moments or solitary relevance just look at how Rashek was handled posthumous that was a good example of a character not overshadowing people's accomplishments despite being an influencing figure of his own. There is a good thing though like that speech he gave to Vin at the moment of letting go Preservation(that was the same thing he first said to Vin when he taught her allomancy). Just because it was planned doesn't mean it's always good. Either way that's just my personal opinion as a reader(not a beef thread so not gonna expand about this )

Crackpot Theories (A game)

Proof: Adonalsium has to be a bad guy if the 16 shardholders shattered him. And what investiture is ? Basically what Adonalsium is made of. Adonalsium == evil, Investiture == Adonalsium, Investiture== evil Theory: Instant noodles is what really the Hero of Ages was really aiming for to be developed by Scadrians. Saving the world and eventual spacefaring was just a side-effect. -
Yeah like Kelsier's revival into a "greater role" wasn't very good imo. Not everything needs to be about greater scale stuff

Granted then canonically one of the lovecraftian cosmic horror, that one who sleeps all the time(because saying that him awake is a bad news is an understatement of all time) wakes up. I wish for people to serve the one true lord Cthulhu faithfully. (Cthulhu mythos from lovecraft) -
Sorry i forgot the remove Yomen guys even when i eliminated him. Eliminated Ruthar. He generally seems like greedy and incompetent. So that leaves us with Malata . So she's part of the Hall of Fame with Beldre. What do we do next ?

Proof: Well duh. If it isn't honorblades, it isn't fused and not Radiant then it has to be them. Theory: Harmony and Autonomy are secretly working together -
Looking at the polls i'm surprised Jasnah is almost as popular as Dalinar Dalinar went reverse Anakin. He was Darth Dalinar first before he became Dalinar Skywalker back again

I think it's reasonably safe to assume that Preservation's plan only ended on Sazed's ascension and reformation. It's just putting "faith" on Sazed after that is what Leras plan was Obviously our Hero of Ages plays a big role in the greater cosmere but i'm uncertain if that was planned by Preservation.

Nightblood Taught Odium How To Kill Heralds
goody153 replied to Leuthie's topic in Stormlight Archive
Yeah this is what i thought as well. The fused who fought Szeth clearly knew what he/she was facing as that fused stole the aluminum cover and used it to block. -
It either hasn't been introduced or somebody who's literally hiding in plain sigh. I think it's just somebody we don't expect considering Sanderson and his damnation chekov's gun implementation.
