  1. The WoB from above suggests that maybe not even Rashek is an atium savant ? (Maybe he is but he never said what's up with being one) So neither Marsh or Elend(who both consumed so many atium in their lives) are close to savantism.

    Shalash'Elin

This is really nice. Is it just me that i pictured her to be more Tan rather than black ?
  3. Granted, you aren't allergic to cats but you are now allergic to humans. I wish to be free.
  4. Warbreaker for Stormlight relation and Mistborn just for basics of Cosmere.
  5. Pretty sure by intent Nightblood is connected to Ruin just like all kinds of death/murder/destruction happening everywhere in Cosmere. But he's surely of Endowment. Ruin's color black is just a coloring thing that happened between him and preservation because of their interactions, time spent together and role in Scadrial.
  6. I will make a confession when i was playing Knights of the Old Republic(starwars video game) what pushed me into joining the DARK SIDE OF THE FORCE rather than the benevolent Jedi way was because uhmm they have cooler powers (and lightsaber). So for sure i'm joining which side has the cooler powers morality and ethics be damned lol. Radiants seem to have cooler powers so likely i'll join them(even if i don't get spren cause i clearly don't have the attitude for it).
  7. Corypheus was pretty good on the early sequence( i have been to city and the seat was empty line) then he just basically became a whatever villain because of lack of exposure or fleshing out his character. Fen'Harel just came out completely out of nowhere and it made sense. I was kinda shocked on his reveal that he was big bad all along.
  8. Granted, you have a puppy now. That puppey is Tensoon and he is influenced by Ruin(Ati as vessel) I wish to become a Fullborn
  9. Novels Luke and Kronos(they're one package) from Percy Jackson (the sequel villains has been disappointing .. also not counting Luke/Kronos from the movies those things were the most terrible novel adaptations i've seen) Ruin from Mistborn ( I am the END ) Lessie from Mistborn ( she was just great ) Valinhall Incarnation from Travelers Gate (i mean the dude is consumed by his ideal so much that he wants to test everybody in the world to protect so that only the strong lived and nobody would be weak anymore) Cinema Thanos (single best villain of all comic book adaptation by far. He fulfilled the hype of 15 or more movies buildup about his appearance) Joker from Dark Knight (ok the actor contributed bigtime on this one that he kinda blew every joker adaptation in the waters) Darth Sidious (His prequel appearance was pretty great and one of the cleverest villains i've ever seen he was literally playing the game of chess from both sides of the board. He truly fulfilled the hype of what it means to be a Sith) Video Games Darth Traya from Kotor 2(possibly the most complex starwars characters so far) Glados from Portal Franchise (quite self-explanatory) Loghain from Dragon Age Origins (well-intentioned who went down the path of tyranny trying to save his homeland) Fen'Harel from Dragon Age Inquisition Queen of Blades from Starcraft: Broodwar (lets not count sc2 because that became a disney story but basically she's the queen slontze of the universe and she delivered) Manga/Anime (surprisingly despite lower quality stories overall from this medium of storytelling they have a couple of really good villains .. they usually only last for sometime before the author managed to ruin what's great about them through deus ex machina or just some absurb story development or pulling a greater scope villain ) Aizen Sosuke from Bleach ( The only one good arc from bleach has the literal best villain of the series. Nothing came close to how brilliant, clever and powerful he was in the series after his defeat.) Orochimaru from Naruto (He was such an chull and he was so good about it.) Itachi from Naruto Pain from Naruto Tobi from Naruto Shippuden (At least before middle of the wararc where the author managed to make him look like a clown . He went from the most hyped, badass, mysterious chessmaster of the series into whatever he was at the end. He is the prime example of the good job breaking it author) Jelal from FairyTail (before his uhm deus ex machina .. he was essentially great )
  10. ParlinNotumTelden Eliminated Dunny because he was previously of the bridge four that did help Kaladin. He sounds like somebody Kelsier would have. Who would make a schemy worldhopper ?
  11. Welcome ! By any chance did any of your least favorite pets named Moash or Gwayne ? xD
  12. Granted, you become a mistwraith. You live forever but you have no sapience but hey you're immortal now. I wish to be the most powerful man in the world.
  13. Eliminated Rysn. She already has a larkin and i don't think she minds a axehound. Who would likely fit as the Hero of Ages ?
  14. ParlinRysnNoroBeardDunnyNotumDedelinKanPaarTeldenKalak Picked Iyatil. She has seen some really interesting rust that i would like to ask her about. Who would make the best inquisitor ?
  15. Evidence : If Adolin is becoming a edgedancer and remember what the core oath of edgedancers(to remember those who are forgotten) which is Adolin reminding everybody of the Oathpact by being punished in damnation for it. Theory : Shan is actually a Kandra who can use allomancy who killed Vin and replaced her.
  16. You might wanna avoid this place bigtime like all the time until you read mistborn at least. Sanderson Cosmere is extremely spoiler sensitive. One seemingly small spoiler can ruin the entire series for you.
  17. I'm an agnostic/atheist but i was initially a theist before. As somebody who has been in both camps it's kinda impressive how Sanderson managed to nail why believe in god concept really well and the worst extremes of religion as well.
  18. If i'm being totally honest i felt that Snoke and Kylo was like none-issue which is a bad thing for me since if i can't feel the antagonist of the story being threatening or ominous then they're probably not that good(at least for me of course others may have found them good villain but not me .. Kylo didn't feel competent enough and Snoke just seemed like another generic behind the throne villain) As unique as Kylo is he pales in comparison to Prequel Anakin's (dialogue and acting does seem awkward but he's quite morally polarizing which is great) and then Sideous just made the sequel antagonists look like generic villains(i mean he literally played chess from both sides of the board while nobody even knows they're playing lmao) I'd rather if they just adapted the Old Republic (so many great stories from there Mandalorean, Revan, Metra Surik, Vitiate, Bane etc) and we'd have the fullblown sith vs jedi that everybody wanted. Like the rule of two is a very interesting concept but that concept did stop us from having a fullblown war like the old republic used to have. Yeah i remember Moiraine considered this one as she was insanely dedicated to help the DR fulfill his role than any help would do. She's alot more pragmatic than we give her credit for. I mean It's weird that Nynaeve and Rand's interaction felt more natural later than the other actual romantic pairs despite not being lovers at all. It's kinda like why i thought Siri and Susebron were the best pair Sanderson wrote because they did feel natural
  19. I find it really weird that Pathism is a religion with the actual god but that actual god doesn't even encourage worshipping him. And then there's autonomy who basically represented figures of religion from multiple where there are even pantheon's where she's basically all of them lol
  20. Splinter of a shard, not a shard just a splinter(can't even ascend) becomes the ultimate enemy ? Yeah no
  21. Proof: Totally. (OATHBRINGER SPOILERS) Theory: Endowment is a noob game balancer and is fixing the imbalances in Nalthais through the returned. Which is a horrible way of fixing imbalances.
  22. Yeah i don't think Harmony wants the Kandra to know how to gain allomancy/feruchemy. I think his decisions regarding them pushing them in the direction of eventually die as a race. I bet it has something to do with possible futures or just his general design of the future which he doesn't want to happen if the Kandra gained such knowledge. And like others said Harmony doesn't really forbid but rather dissuades and discourages (like Marsh or Spook should be a big tell-tale of his policy) but i can totally see him hiding information from other people because that totally sounds like him. Obviously he knows how to (cause he's Ruin and it's his magic system duh)
  23. Parlin Rysn Vstim Lewishi Iyatil Fjon Baxil Jenet Noro Beard Dunny Notum Human Palona Dedelin KanPaar Telden Kalak Eliminated Kadash. He basically has the background for it. DOUBLE ELIMINATION: Who would likely be the antagonist and love interest if Kadash was the main character ?
  24. I think the singers being the natives of the land is just one of the reasons and not the main reason why they "betrayed their spren". We don't know enough yet maybe in the later books we'll learn more
  25. Like the title suggest what were the most surprising moments for you or events that made you go "wait what" from reading Cosmere series. (Sanderson excels on this one). Mine are below Warbreaker Mistborn: The Final Empire Mistborn: Well of Ascension Mistborn: Heroes of Ages Wax and Wayne: Alloy of Law Wax and Wayne: Shadows of Self Wax and Wayne : Bands of Mourning Mistborn: Secret History SA: Way of the Kings SA: Words of Radiance SA: Oathbringer I just realized upon writing this that i got duped by Sanderson more than any other authors. What your "you got duped" moments ?
