  1. Then wait a while. Maybe read Elantris. Then read Warbreaker, and then SA again.
  2. This, And this, Will help once you have read all the books. The first section or two of the second link is alright as far as spoilers go. But you only really need to know that the cosmere is the sum total of most of Brandons Books, not including Reckoners, Alcatraz, and Rithmatist, until you finish the other books. Oh, and Watch out for Hoid. He's everywhere.
  3. Personally, I see the number of breaths used for awakening as the number needed for Endowment to turn her head and make something happen. That is why some awakening commands take more breath even though they awaken the same thing. It also explains why Nightbloods stupendous overpoweredness is caused by 1000 breaths, sort of, and why the Bands slightly more quantifiable power (Actively ripping up chunks of earth and moving so fast you leave a vacuum behind you.) is still not as "Powerful" as other things. Another thing is purpose. Shardblades do one thing. They shear the cognitive from the physical. That seems simple, but takes a heck of a lot of power to do. The Bands have more usability, but are statistically 'less powerful'. Personally, I would rather have the Bands, even though they are 'less powerful'. Shearing someones soul from there body is cool and all, but if I can just rip them apart with a flick of my wrist, it becomes a little obsolete.
  4. Yup. Lots of Comic characters are really OP. Some power set lists on Wiki are almost a page long.
  5. Yeah, I saw that. Pretty cool.
  6. Both are better when slow. Racecars are like Jello.
  7. I was pretty certain that the cognitive realms appearance is unique to each planet. Scadrials is 'An Expanse of Mists' because, well, mist. Roshar is glass beads, which has something to do with stormlight, and I think there was speculation that Nalthis' Cognitive realm looks like a mass of shifting colors. There is a WoB somewhere about the Expanse of Mists, and how the cognitive realm looks on other planets, I think. But I am having difiiculty finding it.
  8. I'm considering it. I've been watching LG22 to try and get a feel for how these games play out (apparently I've been noticed ), and I am interested in playing. I do enjoy Mafia-Style games, but I'm not sure how much I'll be on in the up-coming weeks due to some traveling I'll be doing, so I'm withholding judgment just yet. I intend to join a game eventually, however.
  9. Done. However, the constant temp of your room is 1 kelvin, making it not only a scientific anomaly, but also making it nearly unlivable. I wish for a Hot Rod red, mint condition, 1968 Mustang.
  10. Not if they had gold feruchemy. Just add a gold spike and boom! Now they can switch up spikes with ease. On a side note, switching spikes like that would probably do some really wacky stuff to a human. It would probably warp both their personality and their body.
  11. Superintendent.
  12. I more meant that she could keep with him by pulling on his armor. Pulling on his armor to sort of fly behind him? I am not sure I am explaining this well.
  13. If they have knowledge of each others abilities, then Vin can just Pull on his armor, not allowing him to escape. Even without knowledge, Vin would still probably A; dodge the missile with pewter, B; Steelpush it away, or C; both. It just seems unlikely that a missile could stop her.
  14. You also cannot steal an affinity for chicken with Hemalurgy. 10 INTERVIEW: Apr 15th, 2013 Reddit AMA 2013 (Verbatim) THE_VIKACHU () Another hemalurgy question: Is it possible to steal more than just spiritual DNA with hemalurgy? If you, say, infused someone with a hundred hemalurgic spikes charged from people who liked chicken, would the spike person enjoy chicken as well? BRANDON SANDERSON You can steal quite a lot with Hemalurgy. Anything encoded on a person's soul, really. Not sure if chicken liking counts, though... TAGS hemalurgy, metallic arts, So, certain things might not be stealable.
  15. I know how that is. I tend to have very busy days, and most of the time I just have sat down, when I need to get up and do something else. But I totally agree. Brandon's books are ALL worth it.
  16. Cool. I always read on and off. It is hard, but I figure if I only read, I will eventually die. And if I die, I will probably have a hard time reading more.
  17. The members of the Facepalming Avatars Club have really gotten into this cookie thing. Also, Hi Broken. Welcome to the shard!
  18. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to read the two stormlight books? (When I first read them, it took two-three days, but I had both on hand.)
  19. I thought it had something to do with that fungus that was on everything. I could be wrong.
  20. But, as Syl can transform in split-seconds, I see no reason why she could not constantly change as Kaladin moves. This would basically eliminate the problem of 'Inflexible Shardplate'.
  21. Personally, I do not see any reason that a Radiant Spren could not manifest as two separate blades, to those who prefer it. On the same token, I wonder what other weapons they can become. And does anyone know if an exepsionally broken person could bond two spren? Or have multiple bonds piked into them?
  22. Yep. Cool, isn't it?
  23. I'm pretty sure that Deadpool's unkillable-ness is based off of his healing factor, which is insanely high. There are some speculations that he was banned from Deaths domain, like the Elders of the Universe were. There are also some ideas that he was cursed by Thanos, or Death, and at one point some people thought T-Ray did it. But I do not believe there is any concrete evidence any which way, so as far as I am concerned, he can only heal himself physically. Then again, he can also break the fourth wall, and do a whole ton of crazy stuff. Personally, I think that he would never be killed by a Shardblade in the comics, but that has more to do with plot than anything else. I am not sure the type of healing factor found in Marvel could usually beat a shard blade, however. This link says he consumes the life-energy of planets. I was under the impression that he turned matter into raw energy, then absorbed it. I see no reason that he could not turn a shard (raw investiture) into his food (raw energy), by exercising a portion of his overpowered-ness.
  24. Wow. You learn something new every day.
