  1. Like I said; I think we need to prioritise information over roles. Do you contest that? Before I voted, the vote tally was: Bard (2) : Elenion, Stink Conquestor (1) : Bard Darkness (1) : Ecth Given that Bard was trying to convince Magestar to vote for Conquestor with him, which would have tied the votes, I didn't vote for Bard at the last second after the lynch was cemented; I cemented it. And note that soon after, Bard switched his vote to Darkness. If I hadn't voted on Bard, we would have had a tied lynch and achieved nothing.
  2. Hmm, perhaps "better than the latter series". Ender's Game was really good but Xenocide was much better than the other two.
  3. Being distinctive isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ah, I didn't see that.
  4. Right. I skipped over that for some reason. Oops. Anyway, looking at last turn's posts, I've got a fair bit of trust in Mage. He's acting similarly to how he has in previous games when he's been a villager and it's quite distinctive, so I'm more inclined to say he's village than not. Elenion however did say some things that I didn't pick up on last night. First, his talk of the eliminators having lots of vote manipulation. There's only 15 players; the chances of being any more than 2 orange drafters in the game is really low, the chances of them both being eliminator are even lower. I'm willing to bet that the vote manip that moved Bard's vote onto himself was a villager; though disregarding the chance of that being an elim trying to gain our trust shouldn't be discounted. Second, he continues talking about wanting to kill inactives. I'm pretty sure I made my opinion on that clear cycle 1. I take issue with Elenion saying it the same as I had issue with Alv saying it; and Alv turned out to want to kill everyone, sooooo... EDIT: Didn't make the implication in my first point clearer; that is, Elenion probably knows something about the elim team distribution that we don't, because he would be one of them. Also, nice one Bard; you nearly had me with the Green drafter ploy, even if you weren't lying about it.
  5. Is Stink supposed to be crossed out in the player list?
  6. Specifically helps you, you mean. This game isn't exactly going to be long and we need information to catch eliminators much more than we need roleblockers whose usefulness is going to be limited over the short timespan of the game.
  7. Really? That's the most desperate play you've made yet. Bard. A tied lynch helps no one.
  8. Sheep (2) : Aman, Bard Bugsy (1) : Bugsy Dowanx (1) : Darkness Ascendant Aman (1) : Sart
  9. I don't think becoming too dependent on roles in this kind of game is a good idea. Especially when trying to stop a lynch on someone who's thought to be suspicious.
  10. Basically just wait for one to start. A sign-up thread will be posted which you then just reply to with something like "Hi, I'll sign up as [character name here]" and you're in the game! Then you just have to wait for it to start
  11. I wasn't suggesting she was suspicious as much as merely putting that out there. If there's anyone you should be saying this to, it's Stink. @Magestar, @Darkness Ascendant Bandwagoning is bad as it allows an eliminator to push a lynch on a non-eliminator without needing to defend themself. Also, on later thought; perhaps Alv was the assassin who killed the Prism in the first write-up (thematically) and was apologising to the Blackguard for that? All in character or something. I don't know whether having a third Blackguard faction would make sense. Could you not write in red? It's usually reserved for voting and I'm not quite sure how one's supposed to distinguish a vote of yours from anything else you've said.
  12. Except Aman states in his post that he doesn't think Bugsy is telling the truth. Regardless, if we're going to keep Bugsy alive, can we at least try and get into a position where we can stop him from doing much? And figure that out?
  13. To comment on the game in general, this whole thing seems like a show to me. Joe claiming as Odium? And then revealing Bugsy / Bugsy also revealing? What? I can't see the motivation there, given all it's going to do is draw the attention onto one or the other of them, and more than likely both. And then the lynch is moving away from people we are certain are eliminators? If I'm right, Aman, the point you make here is that Bugsy is claiming that he's the last elim. But he's lying. So it makes sense to lynch him, right? So why vote on me?
  14. I asked Joe in the Roshar PM. I checked it there, though Joe didn't answer. I asked Bugsy in thread because he set up the dichotomy of supporting Joe or him. I wanted to confirm my impression, which was that he was suggesting they were the only two left.
  15. Could be; the question is whether Alv was lying about them or not. I'm leaning towards the former.
  16. Now, I'm wondering. Since @Daniyah jumped on the bandwagon for lynching Meta comparatively early, is it possible that she too is an assassin. And what's this about the Blackguard that Alv mentioned? I'm tempted to think it was trying to mislead us, but who knows. Especially since the Blackguard, you know, stop assassins from attacking the Prism.
  17. So you're also just worried about inactives? Your actions are really confusing me here, Alv.
  18. So it is elims pretending to be inactive that you're worried about?
  19. I can understand Chaos, but as far as I can tell, your worry is just inactive elims? So wouldn't Con qualify. Or are you specifically worried about elims pretending to be inactive, which isn't the impression I got.
  20. But if there were other inactives, and you didn't want to draw attention to yourself, then why did you vote Meta? I know you posted something earlier on about why him, but you'd still draw attention to yourself. And I don't understand why Conquestor wouldn't be a valid choice? Wouldn't it have made more sense to vote for him? Thanks; I don't think I read through the faction section properly, I was expecting it to be at the top or something.
  21. So vote tally at the moment is: Con (1) : Bard Meta (1) : Alv Alv (1) : Mark Dani (1) : Sheep Since Alv is basically going for the same point as Dani and I want there to be a lynch this turn, I'm gonna switch from Dani to Alv. The only difference is the slight bandwagoning from Dani, but I'm putting more priority on getting a lynch than pushing suspicion on Dani, for now. EDIT: New vote tally: Con (1) : Bard Meta (1) : Alv Alv (2) : Mark, Sheep
  22. What did you think of my objection to it? I'd rather try and get discussion occurring now than have someone I don't think should be lynched get lynched.
  23. Where is this in the rules? I can't find it. Also, the longer we vote on inactives, the longer before we get useful information about what players are active. 10 cycles is a long time, and that information is definitely the most important thing we need to get at the moment.
