I was under the impression that the cognitive realm is represented by all objects in the cosmere rather than a select few, as demonstrated by soulcasting and forging. I have to go rn, but I'll edit this post with any more things I can think of

I have a feeling he meant copper mistings, but bronze mistings likely became savants too as they worked for the ministry to find Skaa allomancers or worked for the Skaa trying to sense any incoming Allomantic attack, both of which would require a near continuous burn

Remember that Vin was exceptional powerful in all metals due to her taking in of the mists as a child, and she also reached savanthoodin pewter, a feat few others had ever accomplished. She'd probably receive somewhere nearer to X5 at least, likely more when flaring and an incredible amount with duralumin ETA: that X5 would be the addition of normal strength, meaning Vin's strength + 5x would be her total strength if x = regular human strength. Keep in mind that she was more powerful than a Koloss, who had roughly 5 times the strength of an average human due to the spikes that granted them strength aspects of 4 people plus the host's own (allowing for Hemarulgic decay)

I will join, depending on the subjects. Hoping for RL international topics like the demilitarization of space and disarmament of WMDs. Of course, I'd be willing to debate things on a smaller scale as well, but I'm best suited to MUN sort of things

The reading order I'd recommend very much fits into this . The order I'd suggest is: Spoilered for length

Wow, I legitimately thought people were just saying Sanderswears all the time. I'm almost disappointed now XD

Perhaps the discord reflects a future conflict between the powers of Ruin and a Preservation within Sazed. It could also reference his place as a terrisman who refused to follow the Synod or could simply reflect a change by Ruin to encourage conflict. On a side note, I find it rather ironic that the definition of Discord is literally lack of Harmony, lol

Iron and Steel: Allomantic, because in a world with large quantities of metal available to push or pull, this would have endless applications Tin: Feruchemy. I wouldn't mind storing any number of senses at various times (Such as reading while flying on a plane), and since I could retrieve these stores later it'd be a win-win Pewter: Allomantic, because as a runner it'd be nice to occasionally have a pick-me-up, plus the balance, coordination, and strength would allow me to excel at any physical activity Zinc: Feruchemical. It'd be useful for exams, plus I have a base IQ of 156, which means I'd likely be able to store quickly and accomplish amazing things while tapping Brass: Hemarulgic Zinc Allomancy for compounding. I'd rather have stronger Feruchemical than allomantic, so Allomancy is the one with decay Copper: Feruchemical. Never forget a name or date again, plus I have solid enough control of my emotions to resist allomancy, imo Bronze: Feruchemy any day, I need to be able to store sleep Cadmium: Feruchemical for the purpose of swimming and cross country Bendalloy: Feruchemy, it'd be great to eat when I wanted and not otherwise Gold: Feruchemy. Duh. Electrum: Feruchemical just for the basic utility of it Chromium: Feruchemical Luck all the way Nicrosil: + Aluminum: Feruchemy, to make storages of my powers to sell Duralumin: Allomancy. I wonder, if you burned duralumin while tapping luck, would you immediately win every lottery? Atium: Hemarulgic gravitational surges ETA: I've had this tab open and idle for the past 4 hours, so I got super ninja'd. Sorry for inadvertently copying you on Atium, Morzathoth!

I think this looks extremely well done, however I pictured the alcoves as more recessed as well as staggered in height. I also imagined small stained glass windows as being staggered around the perimeter of the ballroom to allow in the most limelight, rather than large ones at the center

I would argue that the AOE characteristics of Malatium are largely based on the fact that Atium gives the ability to perceive information about others. Also, keep in mind that it does not make it as if others were burning gold, but rather redirects the power so it is being applied to them but affecting you.ETA: About the Trellium spike point (no pun intended), I was under the impression that Bleeder was only able to use one spike at a time. If she were using a spike that granted an increased resistance to influence by shards, she would have logically been able to use more powers as well

From what I have seen, God metals all deal with the spiritual aspect of an object. Lesarium gives the burner the ability to use allomancy as an attachment to their spirit web. Atium gives minor future sight as it allows for connection to spiritual aspects that exist around you, allowing for anticipation of actions. Malatium shows the past/other paths of someone else in a similar way. If you could somehow work this into your theory so that it supported it, I feel like it would be a much stronger argument than unsupported hypothesi ETA: While it is possible that godmetals can be combined with alloys, it has not yet been confirmed to the best of my knowledge. We know that there are not infinite combinations, so there inherently must be a limit to the amount of metals that can be included in an alloy, however

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
Bugsy replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Granted. You are now a guardian from Borderlands. Unfortunately, you were caught in the crossfire between the Vault hunters and Atlas corporation, who promptly teamed up and utterly destroyed you I wish to be able to run as far as I choose as easily as I want -
That would be a BLOODYDAMN epic matchup. My money's definitely on Sevro and Darrow, though. Upvote for a fellow Red Rising fan

1 million upvotes, even though you made me laugh in the middle of Spanish class Your bane is that this counts as the one wish you can ask of the nightwatcher, and you didn't actually ask for anything I wish Brandon would read this tread and use some of these banes in future books -
New WoB: Roshar’s Three (Plus) Magic Systems
Bugsy replied to Confused's topic in Stormlight Archive
The way I see it, the 3 main types manipulate the cognitive aspect of a force or an item, while the old magic tends to manipulate the cognitive aspect of a human or creature. These all (obviously) act via investiture, but the 3 main types seem to rely on the cognitive investiture found in spren/voidspren as well as the environmental investiture of stormlight/everstormlight, while the old magic relies on spiritual sources provided by Honor, Cultivation, or Odium- 12 replies

I feel like consciously trying to act opposite to your predetermined action would be pretty difficult in a fight if you felt that it were the best course, unless you saw the vague results of such an action. Also, unless electrum also heightens cognitive speed, it would be difficult to analyze your numerous shadows and change your action based on them quickly enough to counter Atium. The Atium burner could simply see what action the electrum burner would take next by the orders the shadows appeared, due to their temporarily enhanced minds. A lower quantity of shadows would be produced for the same reason. Seeing the result of your action could cause a much faster reaction, and because your reaction would likely change at the last minute, the Atium burner would have more trouble compensating Edit: Ninja'd

Granted. Unfortunately, you can now only read and understand Dawnchant I wish for the next season of doctor who to come out -
You'd think they'd feel much more intense pain without the metal burning, as they'd be used to having a painkiller on 24/7 in the form of pewter, making them much more sensitive when they lacked it
