  1. hey that's my line I was working on a post that would end with asking you how it felt to rand evil this is outrageous and unfair
  2. honestly I might've considered protecting Archer but I kinda forgot that day and night weren't seperated that's what I get for not paying attention anyways seems like it was a fun game, gg to all those that played and thanks to the GMs sorry for fibbing about being your spren coco, no hard feelings I hope I mean its not like it rly worked considering how the first day ended, I did feel you seemed villagey though re: game balance, agreed that if things had gone differently, a spren with an elim radiant could have yielded basically a bonus elim with a vote manipulation power, which could've made things quite a bit more elim favouring but you know how that song and dance goes, the life-link between spren and radiant makes it very much all-or-nothing, either you get 2 elims or 0 the best laid plans of mice and spren often go awry :P If the Spren win condition were tweaked a bit, perhaps there could be incentives to remain more neutral and play both sides, making the role less prone to tipping the balance. I could probably spitball a few ideas if you ever want to run this again sometime. Or not. Honestly it's probably ok to leave it as-is. If you do ever do this setup again, I bet you'll have a better idea how to handle it. anyways balance isn't everything
  3. While Alvron's offering to the nominee is incomparable, I'll pitch in a Blessing from the Gods of Lies and Violence
  4. Okay so a few others also spoke up about Wahrheitswächter's post. Honestly I'd prefer not to execute them for a single post, but glad it's getting talked about I suppose. I'm not sure I agree with Jo's particular line of thought here for TOW but I guess it depends on what playstyle of elim we're matched against Yeah idk really how to do day ones
  5. ...I hope I'm not the only one who thought this looked like a very confusing self-vote at first
  6. win condition gerrymandering is the root of all kinds of evil Yes. get into the bin squints my condolences, but you're going in the sus bin for that I am so sorry citation: edit: hey! I'm fairly sure I've never done anyone dirty for claiming to me ...at least, not if the claim was truthful edit: this automerge thing is nice and all but I never quite know when it's going to cut off and stop working
  7. Mistfallen can join the village bin for now. Effortful analysis != good but y'know it kinda does help. Re: elim count. We have 16 players but I'd discount third parties from the mix, so I'd guess it's more like 14 players who are either village or elim. Also, they likely have 1 or more converts up their sleeve, which could justify a smaller starting elim team. I would personally expect 2 or 3 elims, with a 2-elim starting team having more conversion charges than a 3-elim team. I guess, theoretically, 1 elim with a generous number of converts could work, but I would be reluctant to do that as a GM since it could end the game on Day 1 if we got lucky with the votes. It's kind of a moot point because conversions are a thing, the starting number doesn't matter quite as much. Guessing it is just a habit I guess. (edit: though, I might as well go on a limb here and guess that # starting elims + # conversion charges = about 4. It's what I would probably do, at least.) Don't mind me, just reading through the last couple pages.
  8. To actually verbalize my I Made It The Storms Up read from previously, Coco and Mippo basically both jumped on the bandwagon with little consideration. Mippo still felt the need to provide some kind of slight justification ("I was doing it before the game") whereas Coco's vibed more as "idk, why not!" without being all that concerned about how it would look. I think a poke-voting villager would align more with the second profile. yes it's reading way too much into tiny microscopic interactions however, is there anything else to do right now
  9. coco gets to go in the village bin, but mippo doesn't source: my source is that I made it the storms up
  10. When the Everstorm came, everything changed. Everyone changed. The shackles shattered, the fog lifted. Like waking up from a long slumber. Clarity, but also confusion. What came next? Who would you be? How do you define a whole person ex nihilo? How do you define a whole people? Yakat didn’t really care about all that. He just knew it smelled like an opportunity. If the Fused claimed to be the legitimate authority in town, he would simply have to make another, more agreeable one. With blackjack. And possibly other things too, he was still figuring that out. Everyone was claiming new forms. It was dreadfully convenient, Yakat thought, being able to choose your form. Body, mind, and soul all attuned to the particular task you wished to pursue. And with each passing Storm, you could try on a new one like humans shed their clothes. Today, Yakat wore workform. It was a good form. Tough, strong, more flexible than warform. And it didn’t stand out much from a crowd either, which was the best thing about it in Yakat's humble opinion. Yakat wondered if there was a form more suited to his new goals. He doubted anyone would advertise it, if there was. Something to investigate later. For now, he kept his head down, humming a soft rhythm. It was clear to him that he could not accomplish much on his own. A single is weak, a choir is not. He would observe, and search for those who would be open to his point of view.
  11. hmmm I'll join as Yakat who has reached the Conclusion that the mass reawakening of singers is a good opportunity to begin building a singer crime syndicate but, statistically, probably won't be part of the mafia ooc
  12. Could try something like the scoring system in QF67 maybe? edit: er, since it was a blackout, not sure if the rules are explained in the signups post here they are, in Day One
  13. thanks @CoderDrag0n8 for letting me impersonate you for a bit there us Chameleons have got to camouflage but I found you ...granted I had a little more to work with honestly just 'Rollover Crew' sounds like a pretty good banner tag to me if people don't know what it means, well then they'll just have to click on it and learn of Sanderson Elimination
  14. Sorry I could use a breather from GMing for a turn or two before I'll be ready to go again but it sounds like you've got a game in the works so all is well! good luck o7
  15. wow must be a bunch of people trolling by posting in the thread without signing up smh smh /joke
