    NGL, I'm still kinda confused why everybody's making such a big deal about solving with roleclaims in a blackout flipless game. Like, when it comes to info roles in particular, I get that the lack of flips in some ways mean scans are the only thing we can trust, but we really can't trust scans all that much when lying about one has so few downsides. Because of how this game is set up, it is honestly pretty hard to imagine a situation where I were evil in this game and I didn't make up a fake info role ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The only effective deterrent I have in mind for this is to have scanners continue to link up and scan each other more. If we have a bunch of people corroborating each other's stories, then at some point we have pretty much secured against the possibility of liars in the mix. I will also say that 2 people corroborating each other is generally not quite enough for my tastes. Short of that, I am going to take any and all roleclaims or affiliated clears with a grain of salt.

I think 3 votes per tied person is a good number of votes. Doing 2 votes per just feels like it's spreading a little too thin. So I'm gonna put my vote back on Steel (this is reflected in the tally above). Since I am a fan of the rule of 3, I will also point out that a third vote on Biplet would make it a nice 3-way tie of 3-votes each.

    Hmmmm I forgot about that Well, I trust that Fae's role exists but not that it confirms either player's alignment It could easily be worded "you start knowing a player of the same alignment" and not "you start knowing a villager" Or Fae could know Wizard is village but still be evil The only thing we know for sure is that village!Fae implies village!Wizard Still.......... point taken Wizard can we please get a different scanner to scan Fae though edit to add: What do you mean cut off? And you "theorized about this" and didn't come to any conclusions?

    My guess is that it tells you how many elims, or if there is at least one, or something along those lines, but yes, good question. I would appreciate if Orlok clarified. Uhhh I don't like that reason I'd agree with it at EoD but it aint EoD I'd like to nominate Wizard for the tie instead

    rumors that I killed you were greatly exaggerated ok yes this explains why we're making a tie /kind of/ Orlok pushing for a tie feels amiss somehow but why Walin?

    when I took over for Stick, it was clearly mid-gambit, and I had no idea what to do or what stick wanted well, you know me my fight or flyte response is to gambit harder things got out of hand on the bright side, I accidentally did a reaction test! So let's all just agree to pretend that's what I planned all along Preliminary findings: people who specifically posted about being surprised and/or confused by the "Stick shot TKN" claim: Ashbringer (here and here) Shining (sort of) Aman (a lot, not gonna link every one) TJ (delayed) TKN Fadran (slightly different from the rest, "why did the elims kill Xino?" instead of "why did Stick kill TKN?") people who posted demonstrating awareness of and engagement with the "Stick shot TKN" thesis but didn't particularly express surprise or confusion: Wizard TJ (initial) Devotary Archer people who were reasonably online and active, but did not have anything to say about it: Araris Matrim Randby Xino, interestingly enough Happy hunting

    This isn't just GMs in the abstract this is Kas and Fifth. I believe Kas and Fifth would be less likely than the average GM to subvert expectations like that. That isn't how either of them rolls, they like things predictable. This is a joke I may or may not have a passive ability with a condition attached.

    I can sympathize with the sentiment, although I must also say a flashtrain sounds like an even cooler version of a bullet train In some ways, yes, in others, no Is what I'd expect I imagine the elims have access to more info that they've pooled in their doc, but they also have a lot more to process
