  1. Aren't these just resonances? With Renarin healing Adolin and showing him a perfect sense of himself is a result from healing in general, I think.
  2. I thought they tried to infuse it like a dun sphere or something. But I guess only Dalinar could do that now, right?
  3. I thought it was her breath as if "to prove to everyone her breath don't stink." Which of the three can't Skybreakers use then? Szeth says they don't have access to all three. My reasoning is that the one they don't have access to is the one that combines gravitation and adhesion. Nm. Pathfinder says which.
  4. I'd say Shallan has yet to use transformation. Also Lift heals with her mouth, Renarin with his hands. And Kaladin mixes his two surges with a reverse lashing. I think that's unique to his order (maybe?).
  5. Abrasion is similar between Bondsmiths and Windrunners. Dalinar can stick things to other things just like Kaladin. I do think there's a combination surge ability, however.
  6. This is exactly why I think Navani will make a great Willshaper candidate. She's an inventor and is fascinated by what may be. But everyone else thinks she'll be a Bondsmith.
  7. A great series, though I've only read it once, and found the first couple of books less exciting than the last.
  8. This, plus the fact that all the uncommitted Spren in Shadesmar will fully make themselves available to be bonded. That would be nice.
  9. So this will be really hard to do because spren take on Radiants that would be best suited for their orders. Furthermore, WoB says Radiant spren congregate around other Radiants and their families. I'm all for spren finding the best candidates for their orders and believe that Adolin is an outstanding candidate.
  10. Yes it was a writing error.
  11. Elsecallers: they call on spren to do their bidding/change to do their will.
  12. 1. Is there any history on multiple people possessing a Shard at once? 2. Can a sword even be a Shard holder?
  13. Tension, perhaps?
  14. That's what I was thinking. That, mixed with tension (Stonewards) could probably pack a punch.
  15. I think if any order could it would be those with transformation, cohesion, or tension. Also, the transportation surge let's you walk on water when you go to Shadesmar
  16. Through Dalinar's vision we know that on at least one occasion Windrunners and Stonewards teamed up. Do you suppose it was because their ideals were similar or because their orders' surges worked really well together? What other orders do you guys think would work well together based on their surges? How would you deploy Radiants based on their strengths and weaknesses? What tactics, techniques, and procedures would you adopt?
  17. Was Urithiru the vehicle by which humans arrived to Roshar?
  18. I like Jasnah's POV the most. She, Renarin, and Adolin are the most like me. I'm very analytical and don't like forced interaction with people because I don't feel it's sincere. I'm a public figure so I have to be outgoing but I'm really an introvert at heart. I noticed only one person so far said Teft in passing. So many on Reddit love Teft because he currently (and most definitely always will) suffers from an addiction. I guess there's more addicts on Reddit than here. So I say Jasnah/Renarin and if Adolin becomes a Radiant, him too.
  19. What is Intuit?
  20. Yeah Windrunners don't need a combination of the two to fly but I agree with the Lightweaver comment. I was thinking that a a Truthwatcher could take a fruit seed, use illumination to serve as sunlight and the regrowth surge to speed up the growth. Granted a Lightweaver could just soulcast food but still.
  21. Posted this on Reddit today. Thoughts?
  22. I'm going to be pretty disappointed if Brandon doesn't explain the main surges for each order and how they're applied. Now that Szeth is on team Dalinar, he should explain each surge to them given that he's trained all the surges already. If he doesn't and the gang stays in the dark for another entire book I'll be dumbfounded.
  23. It's another source. I can't remember where it was tho. I kind of imagine both Lightweavers and Truthwatchers creating lasers and using their Shardblades to guide it. Total and absolute mahem. But at some point the Navanis of the world will learn how to concentrate the fabrials into a laser weapon, I believe.
  24. I'm pretty sure Brandon mentioned that spren will only be used via fabrials, not from the higher spren. I know he plans to use the Lightweaver fabrials to make a laser gun. That should be cool.
