The reason I mentioned Elsecalling is because one could presumably just teleport instantly to the other side of the world, plus one could soulcast AND fly.
Edit: Can soulcasters turn air into something or just smoke? Cuz if air one could turn air into Stone and cause it to fall on the enemy. If it were big enough it could do a lot of damage.
It is said that it's not impossible to be a surgebinder with two spren; just extremely difficult due to maintaining more oaths.
I was curious which two orders you all think would be coolest to combine.
I am thinking either an Elsecalling Skybreaker or a Lightweaving Skybreaker. I think a Lightweaving one would be impossible to maintain, though, so probably the elsecalling one.
Another cool thing about having two bonded spren is to make one a shield and the other a weapon.
@Calderis beat me to it. I was going to say that Brandon was almost TOO deliberate when writing Eshonais prologue chapter that syncs perfectly with the descriptions of Willshapers.
Isn't his purpose to persuade and urge others through dialogue and reason to be united? I think that will be more his struggle. As we can see, nobody, if left to themselves, will wish to be united unless they have a purpose to be.
I am horrible at oath predictions but I just wanted to make note that I don't think Renarin will reveal his oaths as they are so secret. We will most likely learn them in his flashback chapters for his book tho.
And to be honest, I'm pretty sure none of them can reveal their oaths to anybody, even to those of their own order if they are at a higher level.
Do you really think this is only the second time he's used Stormlight since the end of way of Kings? I'm leading towards no. I could be wrong tho!
Edit: I meant words of radiance
The proof that we have is the back cover stating that it was cruelty that broke her. Therefore somebody was cruel to her, like a wicked stepmother. My theory is her mom isn't her real mom
Also, as far as Adolin Edgedancer tendency goes, didn't Darkness kill Ym because he killed someone in his youth? And wasn't he a possible match for Wyndle?
If shardplate is/are spren then the reason would be the same that Syl gives for spren having a specific gender based on the Radiants perception of them. Their plate will appear as a Radiant perceives what armor ought to look like in order to protect them.
